AT THE PARTY

In walk Bette and Tinaas they stood near the Foyer area of the Banquet Room..Tina felt as if all had stopped.the band stopped playing..people stopped talking..and then she exhaled .and the room came back to life..Bette asked are you all right Tee.Yeah surelets go .As they went to the reception table to get their seating cards.Lisa comes up to themHugging and kissing TinaTina introduces Bette to Lisa they hug and kiss.its so nice to finally meet youBill walks over and again with the introductions ..Tina looking for their seating cardsLisa says I have them come on Ill show you to our table.Just then Amanda and George and family greet Bette an Tina.How about a drink???? The band started up and were playing Amanda and Georges wedding songThe CarpentersWEVE ONLY JUST BEGUN.As Amanda and George were dancing alone the band then asked all to join them on the dance floor. All of a sudden these 2 guys walked over to Tina .as if he knew her.and introduced himself and his Cousin and asked them if they wanted to dance.Bette says you know I was just going to ask you that same question baby.Im sorry but I think I will just dance with my girl friend.but thanks anyway.Lisa grabs Bill and Mary Grabs Frank ..all get up to danceall were ready if needed to protect TinaSome people looked but no one said a word everyone was just looking at their own partners Tina looked into Bettes eyes getting lost in each other ..Lisa was speechless.just watching the love between these two.so were Mary and Frank.It must be love..

After they danced Amanda and George walked around to their guests..welcoming all .when they got to Tina table..Bette asked.that song was very popular for weddings..yes but it wasnt really my first choice.really .Bette asked do you mind telling me what was your first choice.Amanda said.I love you more today than yesterday..I remember that song..the band at our wedding didnt know itso we went with Weve only just begun..as they continued making their rounds. Everyone was having a great time.dancing.eating.drinking.just getting to know each otherDinner was .Prime Rib and Lobster Tail with all the extras..it was delicious . More drinking and dancing

The band had started playing again..and they were taking requests.about half way through the set the band wanted everybody attentionWe heard tonight that the original first dance song that Amanda wanted 25 years ago on their wedding day the band couldnt play but guess what .WE CAN.so George will you please get your wife on the dance floor ..as they make their way to the dance floor..the band starts playing.and Tina cant believe her eyes..Bette is on the stage with the band.singing.

Tina was in awe .she knew Bette liked to singbut she only sang in the shower.and she had to be alonewhen ever Tina would catch her she would stop..so this was like a dream come trueeven though Bette sang to Amanda and GeorgeTina knew she was singing to her .by her hand jesters .her eyes.just the way she moved on stageAmanda knew it also..and danced over to Tina and pulled her into the two of them and they danced..the three of themover to the stage..to Betteas she finished the song

When she came off the stage Bette hugged Amanda and George..they thanked her for the song.and then Bette looked at Tina and she was smiling ear to ear.she was so proud of Betteas they walked back to their tableeveryone congratulating her on her singing..Tina whispers in Bettes earWait till Alice, Shane, Dana and Kit see the video.you wouldnt.baby would youcount on it babe.dont worry Bette I still love you..by the way you were greatand you can bet your sweet ***** youll be singing tonightI was counting on it Teeyou will also be singing..

The rest of the night went smoothlythey danced the Ally Cat.The Hokey Pokeyand some line dances.Bette and Tina were leading the dance..they had a great time.

The party was winding downChrisy was fast asleep on grandmas lap.to much party for a 3 year oldBut all good things come to an end. Every body was hugging and kissing and saying goodbyes .Bette and Tina promised Amanda they would stop tomorrow before they headed homethey also promised Tinas parents the same.

Lisa got very quiet at the end of the partyTina hoped she wouldnt remember half of what happenedTina was very happy.Her family had accepted her new life with Bette.she felt as if the world was lifted off her shoulders..
