Bette and Tina stood there in each others arms for a long while enjoying the view before they decided they should leave. They walked hand in hand back to the car and as they were walking Bette was trying to figure out a way to get Tina back to the hotel without letting her know of the surprise she had waiting for them in their room.

Bette: T?

Tina: What baby?

Bette: I was wondering if there is anything special you would like to do tonight.

Tina (kisses Bette): Other than you making love to me? No.

Bette: Oh that is definitely going to happen. I just wanted to make sure there wasnt something else you wanted to do. How about if we go back to the hotel and order room service for dinner or if you prefer we could find some place to go out (she was hoping that Tina would not want this option because she would have to tell her that they would have dinner waiting for them in their room)?

Tina (hungrily kisses Bette): Oh definitely room service.

Bette (kisses Tina gently): I like the way you think.

They drove back to the hotel talking about what they might do the next day but decided to wait to see how they would feel in the morning about sightseeing. They were soon back at the hotel and headed to their room. When they reached their hotel room door Bette unlocked the door and ushered Tina into the room. There in the room were the makings of a candlelit dinner for two. The table was set with fine china and silverware. There were flowers on the table and a single rose lying on one of the plates and soft music was playing in the background.

Tina (walking over and picking up the rose): Baby you thought of everything. It is beautiful.

Bette started to walk over to Tina but stopped when there was a knock on the door.

Bette: That should be our dinner.

Bette let the servers in and they brought in several different plates of food along with a chilled bottle of wine. They set the food down and removed the covers to reveal several different types of food and opened the wine for them and left.

Tina: Everything smells so good. You got all my favorites.

Bette: I didnt know what you would be hungry for so I thought I better give you several different options.

Tina: You better watch out because I just might get used to this kind of treatment and expect it everyday.

Bette (laughs): Baby Im not worried. You are my beautiful practical T. that loves surprises sometimes but not all of the time. Do you want to eat now or would you like to change clothes first?

Tina (looking down at her ivory dress): I think that we should change first. I dont think that either of us wants to get food on these clothes. (teasing Bette) Of course we could just go au natural for dinner.

Bette: Baby you do that and we wont be eating dinner any time soon. I think we better just find some pajamas or something casual to put on.

Tina: Okay if you are sure.

Tina went over to her suitcase and took out a pair of black satin pajamas for Bette and a red satin night gown that had small buttons halfway down the front. She had bought them for them to wear especially for tonight.

Tina (handing the pajamas to Bette): Here baby put these on. I bought these for you to wear tonight.

Bette (lightly kissing Tina): Thank you baby.

Bette went in to the bathroom to change and when she came out she was wearing the pajamas and she had a thin silver band type bracelet in her hand. She had found the bracelet in the pajamas that Tina had handed her.

Bette (walking up to Tina): Oh baby it is beautiful.

Tina: Did you read the inscription on the back?

Bette (turning the bracelet over so she could read the inscription): You are my love, my life, my everything-I love you-Tina.

Bette started to cry as she read the inscription. She knew that she was truly blessed to have this beautiful, loving, forgiving woman in her life, She wasnt sure that she deserved her but she thanked her lucky stars that she was hers.

Tina (rubbing up and down Bettes arms): Baby I didnt mean to make you cry. I just wanted you to know how I feel.

Bette: I love you Tina. I will cherish it forever.

Tina: Why dont you start eating dinner while I change? I will be out in a minute.

Bette: Okay but dont be too long because the food is getting cold.

Tina only took a couple of minutes to change into her gown. She walked back into the main part of the room and was wearing the gown but she had left many of the buttons on the gown undone to expose the top part of her *****. Bette took one look at her and almost choked on the bite of food she was eating. Tina saw the desire flare in Bettes eyes when she looked at her so she decided to put on a little show for her.

Tina (running her hands down the gown and then back up to cup her ***** before dropping her hands back down to her sides): Do you like this?

Bette: You know I do. Jeez Tina, how am I supposed to eat when you tease me like that?

Tina (goes over and lightly kisses Bette): Just remember good things come to those that wait.

Tina sat down and started to eat dinner. It didnt take long until they were holding hands and feeding each other the different foods and their bottle of wine was barely touched. They didnt need the alcohol to give them a high because they were so high on just being with each other and touching each other. They finished their dinner and Bette pulled Tina up and into her arms. They danced to the soft music playing. As they danced they exchanged small kisses and as they swayed to the music they started to gradually move intimately against each other and to caress each other. Soon the kisses were turning into long sensual kisses and Bette slowly danced Tina over to the bed. Bette was so intent on kissing Tina that she didnt realize that they had already made their way over to the bed and before she knew it they accidentally fell on to the bed. They broke apart and were laughing.

Bette: I think this gives new meaning to the phrase I fell hard for you. Are you okay baby? I didnt hurt you did I?

Tina: No you didnt hurt me. I am fine. I was better when you were kissing me though.

They got more comfortable on the bed and Bette started to kiss Tina again. She climbed on top of Tina and positioned her self so that she was astride on Tina. She started to kiss her way down Tinas chest. She was placing tiny kisses along the row of opened buttons on Tinas gown. In between those tiny kisses she said I love you. Soon Bette was dissatisfied with not being able to touch Tinas ***** and skin so she moved off of her long enough to take Tinas gown off of her and for her to shed the pajamas she was wearing. She lay down next to Tina and pulled her over on top of her. She was staring into Tinas eyes and talking to her as she started to run one hand up and down Tinas back and the other started to fondle one of Tinas *****. She tells her how ***** and beautiful she is and how she loves the way she feels in her arms and how soft her skin is everywhere it touches her. Tina loved Bettes words because they made her feel cherished and loved. She wanted to express her thoughts the same way that Bette had but she decided that she would rather speak with her hands and her body. She gently ran her fingers down Bettes cheek and then she ran her finger around the outline of Bettes mouth. She caressed Bettes lips and she pulled at her bottom lip to caress the inside. As Tina was caressing the inside of her bottom lip Bette began to lick at Tinas fingers. At the sight of Bette licking her fingers Tinas arousal grew and she wanted Bettes tongue in her mouth so she moved in for a passionate kiss. Soon they were running their hands up and down each others bodies. They were both very aroused but they wanted to prolong the foreplay before they gave into their passion. As their hands made their journey up and down each other bodies they would lightly touch each other intimately never lingering long for fear they would send the other over the edge. They were reveling in touching each other and kissing each other. Finally their passion over took them and the intimate light touches were replaced with a stroking rhythm. Bette was totally aroused and wanted to give in to her passion but she wanted to watch Tina when she reached her peak. She fought for control as Tina stroked her but she managed to wait until that moment when Tina reached ***** and then she gave in to Tinas stroking until soon her ***** overtook her. They both lay perfectly still for a few minutes trying to catch their breath. When their breathing returned to normal they moved under the covers and into each other arms.

Tina: Today has been wonderful. I couldnt have asked for more.

Bette: It really was wonderful wasnt it?

Tina: Yes it was. You made it that way. You thought of everything.

Bette: Only the best for my baby. Besides I wasnt the only one. You had a few surprises of your own.

Tina (reaching out to touch the bracelet she had given Bette): I wanted to do something special for you.

Bette: You do something special for me everyday by simply being with me. You gave me the greatest gift of all, a second chance to prove that I am worthy of being your lover and your partner.

Tina (surprised at Bettes words she turned her head so that she could look into Bettes eyes): Baby dont you know that you are? Do you think I would be here if I felt that you werent? We got lost somewhere a long the way but we found our way back to each other. We are better than we have been for quite a while and we both know now what it would be like to live with out being with each other. I dont want to live in a world with out you again. You have to know that you are more than worthy of being my lover and my partner. Maybe you better take off that bracelet and read the inscription again because it comes from the heart.

Bette: Baby I dont need to take it off and read it because I remember exactly what is says. I guess I just worry that one day you will change your mind. I put you through so much and I know I am not the easiest person to be with sometimes.

Tina: I am not going to change my mind. I only want to be with you. Bette you have to forgive yourself and let go of the past because I want our future. I know there are going to be times when life is going to throw some curves at us but if we communicate and love each other we will get through them. Bette I want a wonderful happy future with you.

Bette (gently kissing Tina): I think I am the luckiest woman in the world. Thank you for being you and thank you for loving me. T. I want that future for us too and if it is okay with you I want that future to include a child. I know it may be too soon but would you at least consider maybe having a baby in the near future.

Tina: I want to have a baby with you. I have to tell you that it scares me a little to think about being pregnant again.

Bette: I know it must, but Dr. Wilson said that sometimes things happen with a first time pregnancy. I will understand if you dont want to get pregnant again.

Tina: No I want to have a child. I want to feel a child growing in me again but I have to be honest. It will be difficult not to think of the baby we lost and what affect that loss had on our lives.

Bette: T. we wont ever forget but I believe we deserve to have a chance to have a child and to raise it together. Why dont you give it some thought and if you want we can talk about it again in a month or so?

Tina: I dont need to think about it. I want us to have a baby together. I think we should wait a month or so to try and get pregnant though because I want to be a little selfish.

Bette: Selfish?

Tina: I just want to spend the next month or so just being with you and making love with you. I want at least a month long honeymoon.

Bette: Oh I think I can handle that. Making love to you is just such a tough task but I think I just might be up to the challenge.

Bette proved to Tina over and over through the night that she was more than up to the challenge of making love to her. The remainder of their time in Portland was spent making love to each other and visiting the sites. On Sunday they overslept and wound up running through the airport to catch their flight. By the time they got on the plane they were out of breath and playfully blaming each other for making them almost miss the plane. Bette had gone in to take a shower and Tina had joined her to wash her hair but Bette had other ideas.

Bette: How can you say it was my fault?

Tina: You started it. I just got in there to wash my hair.

Bette: Oh yeah. Like you knew I could keep my hands off of you when you got in there.

Tina: I thought you could control your self.

Bette: I just cant seem to do that around you lately.

Tina: That is definitely a good thing!

Bette (laughs): Yes it is unless you start something in a public place and then it might turn embarrassing for both of us.

Tina (looking around the plane): Oh you mean somewhere like where we are right now.

Bette: T?

Tina: Just kidding baby. You know if you really wanted to we could go into the restroom and mess around.

Bette (taking Tinas face in her hands): Tina Kennard you are one ***** beautiful women but I do not want to have ***** with you in a cramped up airplane restroom when I can take you home and have my way with you in a big king sized bed. Besides I like to have you naked when I make love to you. (She kissed Tina softly) Now do you think you can behave your self for the rest of the flight?

Tina (playing like she is pouting): If I have to I guess I can. (She then laughed and reached over and kissed Bette): Porter I love you and I love it when you play and tease with me. I want you to know that I am happier right now than I have been in a long time.

Bette: I think you better change that I to we because I feel the same way.

They soon were on their way home from the airport. Bette asked Tina if she would mind if she stopped by the gallery on the way home for her to pick up any messages that James might have left from Friday afternoon. Tina was a little disappointed that Bette was already thinking about work again but she understood. Bette left Tina in the car and ran in to pick up her messages and to call Kit. The messages were just an excuse for her to be able to call Kit to make sure that everything was in place at the house for their homecoming. Bette had made arrangements with Kit, before they left, to set up a party and to invite the family over to celebrate their recommitment. Bette quickly returned to the car and they headed for home. Since it was Sunday it didnt take them long and they were soon parked in the driveway and heading in to the house. Bette unlocked the door for them and let Tina walk in first. Alice, Dana, Shane, Jenny and Kit were there and yelled surprise when Tina walked in. They all came up and hugged Bette and Tina and told them congratulations. Tina was looking at Bette like what have you done. They went out on the patio where there were a variety of drinks, snacks and a heart shaped cake with congratulations Bette and Tina written on it. Tina hugged all of their guests and thanked them for setting up the party and turned to Bette and asked if she could have a moment alone with her. Bette thought that Tina seemed upset to find the family here waiting for them. The family was a little concerned at Tinas reaction to them being there and wondered if they should leave but decided to wait to see what happened. Tina took Bette in to their bedroom and shut the door.

Bette (bracing her self for Tinas anger): T. I wanted(Tina interrupted her by pulling her over towards the bed and pushed her down on to the bed and kissed her passionately)

Tina (breaking the kiss): You are just too good to me baby. I cant believe you set up this surprise too.

Bette: I thought you were mad at me because they were here.

Tina: Nah. I just really wanted to kiss you without an audience to properly say thank you. I guess we should be getting back to our guests.

Bette (holding on to Tina and kissing her neck): Or we could just send them home and come back here.

Tina (lightly kissing Bette): That would be kind of rude considering they set up the party. I promise I will thank you properly later okay.

Bette: Oh I like those kinds of promises.

Tina and Bette went out and joined their family and accepted all of their well wishes and congratulations. They showed off their new rings when Alice noticed they had added a new ring to their commitment bands. They had food, drink and just an overall good time. It was the first time in months that they all truly felt like a family again. It was late by the time the family left. Tina took Bette by the hand and told her to come with her because it was time for her to honor her promise to thank her properly. As she made love to Bette she told her that it wasnt just a thank you for the surprise party but for giving her one of the most magical weekends of her life. They both were happy and life was good and they intended to keep it that way.
