Tina & Shane in Bed at Alices house

Tina and Shane both drifted in their own thoughts. Though tired, sleep was slow in coming. But having each other in bed felt so good each grateful to have friends that are there in the good and the bad.

Tinas thought drifted towards Bette how I loved it when she held me and when we make love. God how I missed that body missed the intimacy

Shanes thought drifted towards what happened at Bettes. Then, to Cherie. Though it hurts so bad at least I know what it feels like to really love and want someone so badly in makes me insane push a button that drives me to do things I never thought I would do stalking her and following her Just like what Lacey did. I cant be strong for Tina if I keep this up No. tomorrow it will be different.

Exhaustion took over and both fell asleep happy for a moment

Next Morning

Tina stirs from her sleep. Took a while to remember where she was. Its always like this every morning. Then everything came back Bette and the betrayal the last time they

Then she remembered Shane. Remembered how broken Shane looked last night. She turn slowly not wanting to wake her but Shanes not there. Tina jumped out of bed. Went to the kitchen and then check everywhere. O, she must have gone home. She reached for her phone and called Shane. It rang but Shanes not answering. Tina got a little worried now.

Alice is not in either. Shes gone out for an early appointment. Tina called Alice on her cell phone. Alice check the caller and then answers

Al: Hey tina. Youre up early.
T: Al, did you see Shane this morning. She left. Im worried about her.
Al: Yeh, we left together. Shes OK. Dont worry. She has an early appoinment too.
T: Oh, thats good.
Al: (smiling and in a teasing tone) So, you slept with Shane? What does it feel like to sleep with the goddess
T: (smiling and teasing back) it was incredible. It was amazing
Al: (in panic now) God, you didnt! did you?! O, no, tell me you didnt. No, dont tell me, I cant hear this.

Alice jumped to the wrong conclusion. Tina has been so down in the last few weeks, crying, just staring into nothing, not eating, not sleeping, Hearing Tina sounding a little happy and cheerful the ***** must be good.
Tinas feeling lighter in heart than she has in weeks. Smiling feels good. Teasing Alice was fun. Torturing Alice is even better. Shes actually feeling better. The sleep was good. She hasnt slept this well for weeks.

T: gotta go now. Ill leave you to your imagination.
Al: No, dont. Did you and Shane . (Tina hangs before Al finished)

Tina dont do this to me. God Alice hate not knowing. She thought she knew but now shes not sure. But Shane said this morning. Actually Shane didnt say much about it.

Early this morning when Alice was getting ready to go she saw Shane in the kitchen. Deep in her thoughts. Having a cup of coffee.

Al: hey you
Shane: hey.
Al: you look better this morning. Not like the ***** last night. My couch must have done you good. What did they say about couch therapy
Shane: I slept in the room.
Al: (looking surprise) but Tinas in the room.
Shane: Yah, Tinas in bed. (she smiles at Alice) Shes sleeping like a baby.
Al: o good. For a while I thought. You didnt did you?

Shane quickly change subject. She has been thinking a lot about helping Tina. Shane doesnt want to tell Alice that she saw Candace at Bettes. It wont do anyone any good. Thats none of our business anymore. Bette made her choice.

Shane: Al, we have to do an INTERVENTION remember that time we went to their house and we did the thing when they became boring.

Al: Oh, that intervention. But what do you have in mind?
Shane: Tinas too depress and shes not getting any better. We have to help her help her see that she has to get back on her feet.
Al: it takes time Shane. Look at you. Youre one to talk.
Shane: I know I know. Im the last person on earth to give any advice on relationship. Cant even help myself. But this is not about me. Its about Tina. We cant count on Bette. She has no one but us. Can I count on you? Lets put our head together to figure something out.

Alice stared at Shane. What does she mean we cant count on Bette. Shane seems to be hiding something. She has this look when shes not saying. She must know something maybe she saw Bette with. No it cant be. She said shell break it off with that woman Bettes seeing a therapy now and shes working things out. They have talked on the phone a few times now. Shes come over to see Tina.

Shane: Al .. Al Are you with me? Lets have some fun with Tina.
Al; Oh yes. Yes. Im with you. Yeh, lets have some fun. Things have been depressing lately. Ill ask Dana too. Lets meet and talk about this.
Shane: good .. lets do it then.

Al: Ive got to run. I have this interview to do.
Shane: me too. I have an early appointment. See you.
