Tina left work early on Thursday and began the long drive to Bettes. She was going to surprise her for her birthday. She wanted to cook dinner for Bette tonight and then drive her back to West Hollywood in the morning. They needed to meet with the gallery that was mounting Bettes show. They had been dating now for almost 2 months. Things couldnt be better between the two and their relationship was based on a strong partnership. Neither one overpowered the other, each consulting the other on decisions, both small and large. It was so different from the last time. Better, much better. Bette was just finishing her 5th month of pregnancy. The morning sickness had passed and Bette was feeling great. Her belly was protruding like she had a basketball underneath her shirt and her ***** were larger. Other than that her body had not changed. Her body, Tina got wet with desire just thinking about it. It was meant to symbolize their new love and the fact that Tina was willing to trust Bette with her heart again.

Tina pulled up in front of Bettes house and walked towards the back. She stopped to listen, eavesdrop really when she heard voices..

Bette was sitting out back with Jill enjoying the warm sun. She had asked Jill to apply suntan lotion to her back and Jill was complying.
Bette: Oh, that feels great. I am so damn horny. I never knew being pregnant could do this to you.
Jill: Thats the most interesting pickup line Ive ever heard. Can I do anything to help?
Bette: Yeah, you can finish applying the suntan lotion and get back to your own lounge.
Jill: Havent you and Tina made love?

Jill: Bette, its been over 2 months that the two of you have been dating. You should know by now how you feel.
Bette: I do. Ive fallen in love with Tina all over again. She has changed so much. She is stronger, more assertive, less willing to let me have my way. Yet she is still tender and caring. Its because of all the changes I cant read her as well as I could before. Im not sure if she loves me too. I think she might still be trying to figure out if she can trust me again with her heart.
Jill: You have got to talk with her and tell her how you feel. Dont wait Bette. Life is too short. Just take the plunge and tell her. If she doesnt feel the same way as you do then you need to move on. This time for good. Youve got a great bunch of friends here that will support you no matter which way it goes. Just know that.
Bette pulled Jill in for a hug.
Bette: Thanks Jill, you are the best. Now get the ***** over to your own lounge.
Tina stood there for a few moments taking in the conversation. She couldnt wait to get Bette alone tonight. After waiting an appropriate period of time she took the final few steps around the house and revealed herself to Bette and Jill.

Tina: Hi guys.
Bette and Jill each jumped 10 feet in the air.
Bette got off her lounge and raced over to give Tina a hug.
Bette: T, what are you doing here? Is everything all right?
Tina: Happy birthday baby. I thought Id come up a day early and cook you a birthday dinner. That okay? Im not interrupting anything am I?
Bette was smiling from ear to ear. This is going to be my best birthday ever. Im so happy to see you. Why dont you go slip into your bathing suit and join us.
Tina: Will do. How are you Jill?
Jill: Im great. What would you like to drink? Im the elected bartender today.
Tina: Ill just have whatever light beer youve got. Ill be back out in a few minutes.
Tina turned and went into the house.
Jill: Do you think she heard our conversation or saw the hug. I couldnt tell.
Bette: I dont think so but I guess Ill find out once we are alone tonight. She isnt going to say anything in front of you.
Jill: Do you want me to go now?
Bette: No, because if she didnt see or hear anything she will think its odd that you bolt when she shows up.
Jill: Okay. Ill stay for another few hours then.
The three women sat around relaxing and kidding around the rest of the afternoon. Jill wished Bette a happy birthday and left around 5. Tina went inside to start dinner and Bette went to paint for a few hours. Around 7 Bette wandered into the kitchen and came up behind Tina. She slid her arms around Tinas waist and snuggled her face into Tinas hair.
Bette: Smells great. Whats for dinner?
Tina turned around and slipped her hands around Bettes neck and pulled her in for a warm sensuous kiss. The two stood there kissing softly for a few minutes until Tina pulled away.
Bette: So thats what we are having for dinner? You know we cant live on love alone?
Tina: Ha ha ha. Very funny. We are having grilled shrimp over linguine, Caesar salad to start, and fresh strawberries and blue berries for dessert. Whip cream optional.
Bette: Whip cream optional? I guess it depends on where we end up having dessert.
Tina gently tapped Bettes butt and told her to go cleanup, dinner would be ready in about 10 minutes.
Bette went up stairs. She put on a ***** black lace bra that she had just gotten from Victorias Secret and matching black underwear that was trimmed in lace. It was amazing what you could get in maternity wear these days. She hoped by the end of the night Tina would get to see her new ensemble. She threw on a clean pair of sweat pants and a cut off T-shirt and made her way downstairs. Tina had set the table with a bouquet of flowers and candles. Soft jazz was playing in the background. The air was thick with sexual tension.
Bette: Everything looks beautiful T. Thanks for making this day so special.
Tina: Bette, you are so important to me. I just wanted to do something that would let you know. Besides, this way we can go to the gallery together tomorrow and come back here together. Now dig in before things get cold.
The conversation was light and easy throughout dinner. They talked about the trip into West Hollywood tomorrow and whether or not Bette wanted to stop by the planet and see the old gang again.
Bette: If you will be with me then Im okay going to the Planet. It will be very strange. What kind of reception do you think Ill get? Have you told them about us?
Tina: They only know that Im dating someone and they surmise from all the secrecy that it must be serious. I think after the surprise and shock wears off they will be fine. I think they need to understand why you left and havent contacted them so you need to decide what you are going to tell them.
Bette: Okay then. Ill drop you off at the Planet so you can have some time with them alone, get the art supplies I need and then make my grand entrance. Sound like a plan?
Tina: Yep. Before dessert I want you to open your gift.
Tina handed Bette the gift box. Bette ripped the paper off and opened the box. She slowly lifted the 2 necklaces out of the box as tears formed in her eyes. Tina knelt down in front of Bette and took her face in her hands.
Tina: Ive fallen in love with you again Bette. Were so different together this time. The bond is stronger this time, two equal parts coming together to join as one. Im ready to give you my heart again. I love you baby.
Bettes tears were flowing steadily down her face now. Tears of joy.
Bette: Oh god Tina, how I have longed to hear you say that to me again. I love you too. I love the strong person youve become. I love that you dont let me push you around and that you even take control and boss me around. I love you more today then I ever have before. I promise I will never break your trust again. I love you T.
Bette reached over and gave Tina a long passionate kiss.
Tina: Lets go upstairs baby. Its time to make some new memories.
Bette: Not before we put these on. She put Tinas necklace on for her and Tina did the same for Bette. They walked hand in hand up the stairs and stopped in front of the bed. Tina ran her hands up and down Bettes arms. Bette lifted her arms and Tina lifted her shirt off. Tina gasped as she saw just how full Bettes breast had become.
