    Dedicated to my favorite authors Katey471, tavy125,lsrenaski,Bettina05,& islandgirl for their inspiration and making me laugh and swoon. As the title suggest someone (Bette) is leaving on a jet plane…This is my 1st fanfic so please comment.

    “All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go
    I’m standin’ here outside your door
    I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

    But the dawn is breakin’, it’s early morn
    The taxi’s waitin’, he’s blowin’ his horn
    Already I’m so lonesome I could die”

    The taxi pulled up outside of Tina and Alices house and Bette stood there outside the door, packed and ready to leave for a 3 week trip to New York. It was about dawn and the sun was rising on a beautiful day in L.A.; too bad she had to leave. Bette was happy that she and Tina were back together, but they decided to continue living apart until they figured things out. They were talking and on good terms, but it had been so long since the last time they made love. Bette was still very in love with Tina and it was going to kill her to be so far away from her love for such a long time. Both she and Tina dreaded this goodbye.

    “So kiss me and smile for me
    Tell me that you’ll wait for me
    Hold me like you’ll never let me go

    ‘Cause I’m leaving on a jet plane
    I don’t know when I’ll be back again
    Oh, babe, I hate to go”

    Before Bette could even knock Tina opened the door. She wrapped one arm around the back of Bettes neck and pulled her in for a kiss. Bette parted Tinas lips and deepened the kiss because it would be the last and only one shed have for awhile. When Tina finally pulled away because of the lack of oxygen she looked into Bettes eyes and smiled. Ill wait for you, she said. Tina could see the tears welling up in Bettes eyes so she pulled her into an embrace. They both sobbed and closed their eyes. Bette rested her forehead on Tinas. Tina finally looked up at Bette and said, Would be okay if I came with you to airport, to yknowsee you off? At first Bette didnt want Tina to be at the airport with her when she left because she thought it would be harder that way, but now Bette realized that this was what she needed.
