Tina sat close to Bette in the cab, she rested her head on Bettes shoulder. Bette stared out the cab window in sadness and awe. She couldnt believe that after all shed done to Tina; how much shed hurt her by cheating with Candace, that Tina, this beautiful woman, this angel, still loved her. Candace meant nothing, she just helped Bette pass the time, but Tina meant everything and it made Bette sad to think she almost lost that.

“Every place I go, I think of you
Every song I sing, I sing for you
When I come back I’ll wear your wedding ring”

Tina had fallen asleep in Bettes arms. Bette stroked her hair and smiled. She looked down at Tina peacefully sleeping and Bette closed her eyes. She committed that image of Tina to memory. When she re-opened her eyes she thought about what she was going to do when she got back from New York. After their falling out, Tina had returned Bettes wedding ring. Bette thought that when she got back from New York shed finally ask Tina to move back in with her and ask her to once again be her wife because her life, her heart, and her home was empty without Tina.

It was about 2 hours before Bettes flight as they waited at the terminal. Bette turned to Tina and said, I dont want to leave. Bette could her the sadness and tears welling up as Tina said, I dont want you to go. They hugged and began to frantically and passionately kiss. Tina pulled away as Bette continued kissing her neck, BetteBetteBette stop she said breathlessly. Bette stopped and looked up hurt and confused. Tina saw this and spoke carefully, Babyyour flight doesnt leave for another 2 hoursand theres this nice hotel nearby Bette gave Tina a wicked grin and kissed her once more.
