Friends Meeting Friends

Bette and Tina had spent most of the day in bed. Lots of good lovin and catching up on much needed sleep.

Finally at three they got up and showered and dressed. They were going to take Vanessa out to dinner and then meet up with the gang at RAIN. Kit was DJing and she said several people were requesting Tina sing karaoke.

Bette was dressed in black jeans, and a black blouse. Tina wore jeans and a blue tank top.

Vanessa showed up about five oclock.
Vanessa: in her best Ricky Ricardo voice. Lucy Im home.
Tina: laughing. Hey how was your day?
Vanessa: You know, same ole, same ole.
Bette: We thought we could go to dinner and then take you to meet the girls.
Vanessa: Sure, can I get a shower first?
Tina: Yeah, no hurry.
Vanessa: I need to talk to you guys about something at dinner; it will be just us three right?
Tina: Yeah, is everything okay?
Bette: Are you alright?
Vanessa: yeah, Im fine, just something happened today at the conference I want to discuss, I need another opinion on.
Tina: Okay, go get ready; well be her when youre ready.

Bettes phone rang.
Bette: Hello?
Alice: Hey Porter, what time do we meet at RAIN?
Bette: Is nine okay?
Alice: Great. So any clues?
Bette: What about?
Alice: You know, Tinas friend is she hot? Is she *****?
Bette: laughing. Youll have to wait and see. But Ill tell you this, shes fun, nice and shell give you a run for your money.
Alice: Um, so is she hot?
Bette: Youll see. Now Alice please behave and dont embarrass Tina, okay?
Alice: Of course. See you at nine. Bye.
Bette: Bye.

Vanessa came out to the living room. She was dressed in jeans, boots, and a fitted tight red t-shirt, her flat toned stomach peeking out.

Tina: Whoa, Van you look great.
Bette: Oh *****, you do look good. Alice and the girls are going to be drooling for sure.
Tina: laughing. This is going to be fun.
Bette: Lets go ladies, look out LA here we come.

They went to a favorite Mexican place of Bette and Tinas. Bette was driving so she just ordered water, but Vanessa and Tina had margaritas.

Vanessa: Im a little nervous meeting your friends.
Tina: Why? Youll be fine, theyll love you.
Bette: They are good people, youll fit right in.
Vanessa: You really think so? Cause what if I was to move to LA and be part of the gang.
Tina: What? Youre moving here? Van what are you talking about?

Vanessa: Well today at the conference and old friend, remember Doug Hughes, well he offered me a job in his office.
Tina: Oh god Van this is great.
Vanessa: I dont know TK I mean, leaving Chicago, my family, my patients. Im torn. It would mean more money, a partnership, a lot more money. A new beginning.
Bette: It sounds great Vanessa; you can stay with us if you want until you find a place, if you take it that is.
Tina: Id love to have you in the same city Van.
Vanessa: My parents will *****.
Tina: Its a lot to think about, but Ill support your decision either way.
Vanessa: I know Tina, that means a lot.

Bette: Well ladies we better get going. Maybe youll fall in love with Alice, or Shane, or Dana and it will be easier to make the decision. Laughing.
Vanessa: Im straight remember.
Tina: So was I Van, so was I.

Alice, Shane, and Dana were waiting and looking to see if they could find Tina, Bette and friend. But they were sneaking up on them undetected. As they came up behind the gang
Bette: Boo!
They all turned looking stunned.
Bette, Tina and Vanessa all started laughing.
Tina: Hi guys, Id like you to meet my friend, Vanessa Marconi. Vanessa this is Alice.
Alice: shaking her hand. Nice to meet you Vanessa.
Vanessa: You to Alice.
Tina: This is Shane.
Shane: shaking her hand. Hi.
Vanessa: Hello Shane.
Tina: And this is Dana.
Dana: Hi Vanessa.
Vanessa: Nice to meet you Dana.

Alice was at a loss for words momentarily. Her thoughts were not pure that was for sure. Vanessa was gorgeous. Mmm, Mmm good. Tall, *****, full lips. ***** did Tina say she was straight or *****? Or did Tina ever mention her sexuality? Well you know what they say, everyone is straight until their not, but she was going to find out.

Shane thought she was very pretty and *****, but no her type. Her gaydar said she was straight. She wasnt interested in anything but friendship, if Tina was her friend; she was okay in her book.

Dana was stunned. Vanessa was so beautiful. Dana was instantly attracted to her, but was she straight? Damn she wished she had gaydar. She didnt know but was willing to find out, shed ask Bette and Tina later, or get to know on her own.

Bette and Tina noticed the reaction of Al and Dana. They knew Shane wouldnt want any thing more than friendship, but Alice and Dana were going to try their best to get to know the fresh meat. Bette winked at Tina. Smiling.

Bette: Hey Im buying, and Ill go get drinks, so whats everyone drinking?
Vanessa: Ill help you. Bette and Vanessa went to the bar.

Alice: Jesus Tina, shes hot! Is she?
Tina: Is she *****?
Dana: Yeah, is she?
Tina: Mmm, Im not sure, why dont you ask her. Laughing at them.
Shane excused herself to lust after a little blonde that she had her eye on.

Bette and Vanessa were waiting on their drinks.
Bette: Youve got Alice and Dana panting after you.
Vanessa: Really? Should I play along?
Bette: Thats up to you.
Vanessa: So Bette what if I want to try being with a woman?
Bette: surprised look on her face. What? Are you just curious?
Vanessa: Yeah, Id like to see, like Tina said maybe its whats been missing in my life.
Bette: Van just make sure this is an option you want to explore first. You know talk, dance, have fun with someone and then proceed with caution. Have you ever been attracted to a woman?
Vanessa: Yes, a few years ago, a fellow colleague, but we never acted on it.
Bette: looked at her questioningly.
Vanessa: No it wasnt Tina, and she doesnt know. So keep quiet, Ill play along tonight and well let her think thats what Im doing. Okay?

Their drinks were ready and they took them back to the table. Tina had sat were Bette could sat beside her; the only seat left was between Alice and Dana. Vanessa sat in it.

Tina: This place is packed tonight.
Alice: Are you going to sing for us tonight Tina?
Vanessa: Please TK I havent heard you sing in forever.
Bette: Kit said to name the tune and its all yours baby.
Tina: Okay later, a few more drinks. And I want to dance first.
Bette: Are you asking me to dance? Kissing her.
Tina: Umm , yeah lets go.

Bette and Tina hit the dance floor, they moved together perfectly, as if they were one person. Alice, Dana and Vanessa watched.

Alice: So you and Tina have known each other since college?
Vanessa: Yeah, weve been friends forever. College and med school.
Dana: Youre a doctor to?
Vanessa: Yeah, I have a practice in Chicago, family practice. Dana what do you do?
Dana: Im a professional tennis player.
Vanessa: Wow, that cool and it explains your great shape. Dana blushed. Alice what do you do?
Alice: Im a free lance writer.
Vanessa: Thats interesting, Ive always envied writers. So you guys tell me are Tina and Bette as happy as they seem.

Alice: Definitely, Ive known Bette for years and Ive never seen her like this with anyone. Shes never been the type to settle down, until Tina. She had a reputation for lovin and leavin
Dana: yeah theyre great together. Its the real deal alright.
Vanessa: Good, I love Tina and I dont want to see her hurt, and Bette has been great. So she had a reputation huh?

Alice: laughing. Yeah, her other rep was that she gives the best head in LA.
Vanessa: blushing. No *****? Well thats something to be known for. Ill ask Tina.
Dana: Alice is the biggest gossip in LA, but she can confirm Bettes rep.
Alice: Yeah we used to date, but we were better friends than lovers. Having that kind of reputation in this town is a good thing. And yes she is that good. The best Ive ever had, man or woman.

Dana: Alice is also the only one of the gang thats a dirty bisexual.
Alice: I cant help who I am. Love is love, whom ever.
Dana: Yuck. Give me nice ***** and ***** any day.
Vanessa was laughing at these two they were hilarious.

Alice: So Vanessa do you want to dance?
Vanessa: Sure, but only if its all three of us okay?
Dana: Great, lets go.

The three of them hit the floor.
Bette and Tina came to sit down and to watch this interesting trio.
