    Bette and Tina argue again; dodging the question and someone’s ex

    The Planet

    Yeah I think this is my cue to exit Alice said quickly making herself scarce. Neither Bette nor Tina noticed Alice leave.

    Bette still had her glare fixed on Tina, Yeah I knew Bette she called a couple of months ago to apologize and she said.

    Did that little ***** happen to mention the money she stole or were you two so busy catching up on old times Bette asked furious at the idea that Tina had kept this from her. Although Bettes comment was a jab at what happened between the two of them, Tina let it go.

    She sent us a check, but you were to busy ***** the construction worker to notice anything she shot back. Bette was silent after Tinas comment; it was true after all.

    Nile has changed Bette if you pull your head out of your ***** long enough to give her another chanceI mean its the same thing youre asking me to do Tina said leaving Bette with questions still unanswered.


    At Danas

    Holy ***** you little wife ***** you Alice yelled as she walked in the living room finding it silent. Shane looked up.

    No not you Shane honey, this one right here she said slapping Nylan upside her head as she rounded the couch to sit down.

    It was just heavy making out, Alit should have never happened Nile replied voice low because of shame.

    Well I can tell you now Bette is mad as *****, Alice admitted. Dana looked at her with disbelief.

    Geez you think AlI mean she did use her face as a punching bag for Christ sake Dana replied sarcastically.

    Okay then no dessert for you she shot back. Dana began to pout disappointed that she was not getting any tonight like you were before Fairbanks. Someones cell phone rang forcing everyone to come back to reality. Shane, Alice, Nylan, and Dana all reached for their phones simultaneously, each one saying hello.

    Its me guysyea Im here Nylan said as she got up to take the call to the other room.

    This ***** is really deep Shane whispered. Alice and Dana both nodded agreeing silently.

    Yeah it seems as though Tina knew about Nylan coming back hereI guess with everything thats going on she kinda forgot to mention it Alice whispered back to Dana and Shane. Nylan came back into the living room to find her friends looking suspicious.

    Whats going on? she asked.

    Nothing they all answered.

    Uhhow about we all meet at milk tonight, have some drinks, catch up Shane said successfully changing the subject. They all agreed.

    Im going make sure Nile gets home okay Shane offered ushering Nylan toward the door.

    Where is that exactly? Dana asked. Alice sat up eager to know the answer.

    Its about ten maybe twelve blocks from hereits kinda secluded Nylan answered.

    Welcome to the neighborhoodsorta Dana said confused as always. Alice shook her head in disappointment.

    See you guys later Alice yelled as Shane and Nylan made their of the door.

    How long have you had this Shane asked walking outside to the pool area.

    I purchased this a year ago for trips out here on the west coast you know Im east coast kinda girl

    So you were right under our noses all along Shane inquired almost hurt knowing she never tried to make contact. Nylan turned away avoiding the question as she made her way to the bar to fix a drink.

    Why didnt you call she asked, or write something. Not ready to answer Shanes question entirely, she answered as honestly as she could at this point.

    Dana your cell phone is ringing Alice yelled to Dana who was in the bathroom that woman and her bladder.

    Answer it for me Al she yelled back. Alice picked the phone staring at the caller id in shock Lara. She looked at it not knowing what to do answer or ignore it. Finally she decided to answer it but Lara had hung up by the time Alice made up her mind. Thank you I so do not need that woman around right now she thought.

    Dana had a message.
