Sunday came. Bette, Tina and Van were sitting having coffee together. Vanessa was nervous about her lunch date with Dana.

Bette: Just be yourself and tell her youre attracted to her, but have never been with a woman.
Tina: Yeah, I did the same with Bette and shell be okay.
Bette: Of course I wanted to strip her naked and have her right then, but I controlled myself. Smiling at Tina.
Vanessa: Okay, Ill tell her and then go with the flow. ***** I feel like a school girl on my first date.
They all laughed.

Dana showed up at 1 oclock and came to the door. Tina opened the door.
Tina: Hey Dane. Hugging her. Come in.
Bette: Hi Dana, you look great! Dana was dressed in white jeans and a dark yellow tank over a white one, and sandals.
Tina: Ill get Vanessa.
Vanessa came out in khaki jeans and a red t-shirt that clung to her.

Vanessa: Hi Dana.
Dana: Hey Vanessa you look great.
Vanessa: Thank you, you too. Shall we go?
Dana: Sure.
Tina: You guys have fun, Van you have your key? Were going shopping and we might be out when you get back
Vanessa: Yes mom. Laughing at her. Ive got my phone, keys, and purse. Okay.
Bette: Bye guys enjoy lunch.
They left as Bette and Tina looked at each other and sighed.
Bette: Are we going to be this nervous when we have a teenage daughter?
Tina: hugging her. Probably worse.

Dana took Vanessa to the country club. They were seated and ordered. They ate and talked, conversation came easy to them. Dana talked about her practice and schedules while Vanessa told her about her job offer in LA.

Dana: So are you going to take the job.
Vanessa: I dont know yet? Its a great offer. But quite a change for me.
Dana: Make a list of pros and cons, thats what I do when I have a decision to make.
Vanessa: Yeah, I will, Dana I need to talk about something with you.

Dana: Sure, What?
Vanessa: Dana Im very attracted to you.
Dana: blushing. Uh thanks, I feel the same way about you, something about you, chemistry I guess.
Vanessa: Well theres a problem. Ive never been with a woman before. She took Danas hand. I dont know if Im bisexual or just curious. I see Tina and Bette and envy what they have. Tina and I have been best friends for so long, I never figured shed fall for a woman, but then Ive been thinking what if thats what Ive been missing. I love men, Im going to be honest, I love having ***** with men, but what if I love women too?
Dana: Well Vanessa, thats something youll have to figure out and only you will be able to know. Have you been attracted to other women?
Vanessa: Yes, but Ive never acted on it.
Dana: I have an idea, but we have to get out of here. Dana took her hand and led her out the door.

They went to Danas apartment.
Once inside they went to the living room and sit on the sofa. Vanessa took Danas face in her hands and kissed her. Softly and slowly. Oh god its so soft, her lips so much softer that a mans, her face so soft, Dana was kissing her back. Vans kiss got deeper and she parted Danas mouth with her tongue. They kissed until they had to come up for air.

Vanessa: looking at Dana. Oh god, that was so good Dana.
Dana: Yeah it was. Dana leaned in and kissed her again, pushing her back on the sofa, kissing her neck and earlobe. Vans hands went under Danas shirt on her back. Dana kept kissing Vanessa, down her jaw to her neck. Danas hand went up under Vans shirt, she felt her flat stomach and up to her *****, caressing them over her bra. She stopped and looked at Vanessa.

Dana: You okay? With this?
Vanessa: breathless. Yes Dana, But I want you to understand something. Im leaving tomorrow and I may or may not be back. I dont want bad feelings between us, or with Bette and Tina. But I do want you.
Dana: Vanessa I want you too, I want to be your first, and I want to teach you. I consider you a friend already, after we do this no strings, Okay? Deal?
Vanessa: yeah, deal.

Dana stood up and took Vanessas hand and pulled her to the bedroom. They stood facing each other and undressed each other.
Vanessa: Dana youre beautiful.
Dana: You too. She pulled Van close and kissed her.

She pushed her to the bed and laid her down. Dana rolled on top of her kissing her way down Vans body. She got to her *****, as she took one nipple in her mouth. Van gasped. Van was thinking this is so good. She was amazed at how slow and deliberate Dana was, how soft, tender and gentle. Dana sucked at her nipples and with her hand she pinched them slightly. Vans head was whipping side to side with the pleasure. Dana: Probably teachers pet.
They laughed. They lay together and made love several more times until Vanessa noticed the time.

Vanessa: Oh *****! Its six oclock. Tinas going to be going to be freaking out, wondering where we are, what were doing. Im supposed to spend my last evening here with her and Bette.
Just then the phone rang. Dana laughed looking at the caller ID.
Dana: Its Tina.
Vanessa: Dont answer it.
The machine answered they listened to Tinas voice.
Tina; Dana are you there? Is Van with you? Call me.
Then after she hung up they heard Vans cell phone ring. They laughed.

Dana: Ok lets get up and get you home. They showered and then one thing led to another. So they left Danas at seven.

Meanwhile at Bette and Tinas.
They had gone shopping for some things for the ceremony. They had gotten home expecting to find Vanessa already there. Tina cooked enchiladas, one of Vans favorite foods, and they rented movies, so they could take it easy on her last night there. Tina was pacing shed been pacing since five. Bette was sitting on the sofa with her lap top watching her.

Bette: T calm down, shes okay.
Tina: She wont answer her phone, Dana wont answer her phone.
Bette: Yeah, well maybe theyre busy. Raising her eyebrows.
Tina: Bette are you serious? You think they might be
Bette: Why not? They are attracted to each other. Come here baby.
Tina went to Bette and sat next to her. Bette put her arm around her and pulled her close. Tina let her head rest on Bettes chest. Bette laughed.

Tina: This is not funny Bette. Im so nervous for Van, Ive been there, done that.
Bette: First of all T, we dont know what they are doing, Second you were with me, and I would never do anything to hurt you then or now. Shes with Dana one of the sweetest people we know, shes okay.
Tina: Youre right, God Im going to be an awful mom with a teenager.
Bette: Youll be great; I cant wait to have a family with you. So until Van comes home relax. Get your guitar and sing for me, it always relaxes you.
Tina: Okay, good idea.
Tina got her guitar and sat on the sofa and sang.

Bette got them a glass of wine; she was still working at her lap top and listening to Tina. At seven they put up the guitar and lap top and watched TV. Dinner was still keeping warm in the oven. Then the phone rang. Tina answered.

Tina: Van are you okay?
Vanessa: Im fine, Im on my way, we lost track of time, and Ill be there in ten minutes.
Tina: What have you?
Van hung up before she could finish her question.
Tina: She hung up on me.
Bette: smiling. Tina promise me youll be calm and nice when she gets here, to her and to Dana.
Tina: Okay, but I want answers.
Bette: Lets get the table ready and dinner finished.

They set the table and poured the wine. They heard Danas care pull up in the drive way.
Vanessa and Dana came in to the house laughing. Van saw the look in Tinas eyes.
Vanessa: Hey, Hi guys, sorry Im so late.
Dana saw the look in Tinas eyes and decided it was time to go.
Dana: Hi Bette, Tina, well Ill go now, see you guys later. Van walked her to the porch.
Vanessa: Ill call you. She held her hand. Thank you Dana, Im so glad weve become friends.
Dana: Me too, call and let me know your decision and go with your heart. No strings.
Van pulled her close and hugged her and then they kissed a long deep kiss.
Bette and Tina were watching. Tina looked at Bette wide eyed and Bette smiled.
Bette: Go Vanessa.
Tina hit her on the arm. Bette!

Vanessa came in and Bette and Tina pretended to be getting dinner on the table.
Tina: Dinners ready.
They all sit down, Bette broke the ice.
Bette: So Van what buts that ***** eating grin on your face?
Tina: Yeah, Van who did you have for lunch? I mean what did you have?
They all laughed
