One tequila, Two tequila, Three tequila, FLOOR!

The week was busy and Bette and Tina were both back to work. Hectic schedules and long hours. To top it off Bettes father had called her.

She told him about the commitment ceremony. He was such an *****, he told Bette hed check hes calendar. He said if you feel this is something you must do, so be it, but he still thought it was a phase. Shed been going thru this phase for years. Melvin still didnt accept her life style.

Bette: Daddy if you cant come to the ceremony I understand, but Id like you to meet Tina. Shes a very special person; I think youd like her.
Melvin: Bette does your friend Ms Kennard work? How does she earn a living? Is she relying on you for support?

Bette: Its Dr. Kennard for your information, shes a pediatrician daddy. And yes I support her emotionally. Were a couple, we are partners in life, were going to be together, have a family together, we love each other, you can accept it or not. But know this its my life. This is who I am. Im happier than Ive ever been, Id like for you to be part of that, if you cant its your loss. Goodbye daddy.

She hung up on him. She took a deep breath, she couldnt believe she just did that, she had finally told her father how it was. Damn she felt great, exhilarated in fact. She had to call Tina.

At Tinas office.
Angie: Tina? Doctor? Bette on line 2.
Tina: Thanks Ang, Ill take it in my office.
Tina answered the phone.
Tina: Hey baby whats going on?
Bette: T youre not going to believe this.
Tina: What?
Bette: I just told my father off.
Tina: What? You did what? Tell me.

Bette told her the whole conversation. When she was done Tina spoke.
Tina: Im so proud of you baby. Are you okay?
Bette: Im great, I feel like a weight has been lifted, but Im also worried about what ***** do.
Tina: He cant do anything to you Bette. Youre a grown woman; the most he can do is withhold his calls, his visits. So what. ***** get over it.
Bette: I know, god I did it. Can you believe I finally did it?
Tina: Baby I love you always, and Im so proud of you.
Bette: Thank you Tina, that helps, Ill see you tonight about six, okay?
Tina: Ill be there. Ive missed you today Bette. You are a wonder to me.
Bette: Me too, thank you for loving me, I love you Tina. Bye.


Tonight was date night and it was Bettes turn. She needed a night out. She and Tina had been working so hard the last two weeks and her mom and Tinas mom were coming tomorrow evening for four days. So she decided they would have an early dinner and then meet the gang at RAIN, to relax and do some dancing. Tina loved to dance.

Bette got home before Tina, she showered and changed and was just finished when Tina got home.
Tina: coming in the door. Baby Im home.
Bette: coming in to greet her. Hi! She kissed her.

Tina: looking Bette up and down. You look good, really good! She kissed her again. She touched her face. Are you okay baby? With the Melvin thing?
Bette: hugging her. Yes Im fine, ready for a night with you. Ive made reservations at Luigis then were meeting the girls at RAIN.
Tina: Okay, Ill get ready. She went to shower, when she came out to the bedroom Bette was watching her. What are you doing?
Bette: Watching the most beautiful woman I know get dressed.

They left for dinner. At Luigis they sat at their favorite table, they drank wine and ate dinner. Sharing their meals as always.
Bette: So our moms arrive tomorrow night, our last night alone for four days.
Tina: Yeah, we better enjoy it.
Bette: I hope they like each other.
Tina: I hope they get some of the planning done, theyre driving me crazy.
Bette: One month baby.
Tina: Yeah, one month until we show everyone how much we love each other.
They held hands for awhile and just relaxed.

At RAIN they were greeted by Alice.
Alice: Hey guys! Nice to see you out and about.
Bette: We need this night out desperately.
Dana: Hi girls!
Tina hugged her. They hadnt seen each other since Van left. Tina whispered in her ear.
Tina: Dana everything is cool with us okay.
Dana: Thank you.
Bette: Now lets get to partying.!!!
Alice: What? Did Bette Porter just say that?
Bette: Yeah Ive had a helluva week and today was the worst.
Tina: Im driving, okay babe you party.

The waitress arrived and they ordered.
Tina: Ill have a club soda.
Bette: Well have tequila shots for all, and keep them coming.
The tequila arrived with the fixins
Bette: Im doing body shots. She licked Tinas neck and took the first of many shots.
Alice, Dana and Shane were watching Bette in amazement.
Alice: Tina is she okay, she never gets drunk. Shes the responsible one in this bunch.
Tina: She had it out with Melvin today, so leave her be, shes entitled once in awhile.

Several shots later.
Bette was dancing. She pulled Tina to her and kissed her. Her hands were straying to all parts of Tinas body.
Shane: smiling at Bette. Shes really tying one on.
Dana: Shes gonna feel like ***** tomorrow.
Alice: Good for you Bette, Go girl!

Tina and Bette came back to the table, Bette was all over Tina. Tina was laughing at her.
Tina: Baby, maybe you should get some water or coffee.
Bette: slurring her words. ***** no! Im having a good time. She ordered another round of shots. Alice was the only one keeping up with her shot for shot.
Alice: Lets party!!! Alice grabbed a cute brunette that was just walking by and kissed her. She let her go and laughed.

Alice: I just made her night! Once youve been kissed by the Alster youre never the same. I will rock your world.
Everyone was laughing at her.
Bette: Bullshit! The best kisser Ive ever had wasnt you Al, it is Tina. And DAMN she can kiss, and remember I have the knowledge to compare.
Shane: Im willing to be an impartial judge.
Dana: Me too.

They were all laughing.
Shane: Seriously Tina whos gave you the best kiss?
Tina: Bette of course, how about you?
Shane: A girl named Jane Reynolds, I was eighteen and man, she could curl my toes with a kiss. Okay Dane your turn.
Dana: Thats easy; it was Holly Weathers, sixteen at tennis camp. Mmm. SWEET!
Okay Al who is the best kisser youve had?
Alice looked at Bette and then the other girls.
Alice: Stacy Mitchell, college roommate, whoa what a kisser.
Bette smiled; she knew the story of Alice and Stacy because Alice had always compared her to Stacy when they dated.

Bette: OK, lets dance; she pulled Tina to the dance floor. They were having a great time. They danced forever. When they went to the table Bette drank water this time, she was feeling no pain and knew she had had enough. Alice was still dancing with the cute brunette she kissed.

Bette looked around her and thought god she had fun friends; she didnt need ***** Melvins approval. And she had T. The best of all.
Tina: Baby Im going to the bathroom when I get back well go home. Stay here.
Dana and Shane were at the table. Tina was trying to keep Bette on the tall chair at the table she was wobbling and staggering.
Dana: Well watch her go ahead.

Tina was coming out of the restroom when she felt someone bump against her. Tina saw who it was and knew immediately the evening was about to change.
Tina: Excuse me, Nicki isnt it?
Nicki: Well, Well, Hi Tina, wheres your woman? Or your body guard Bette the *****?
Tina: trying to be polite and nice. Nice to see you again Nicki, Im leaving now.
Nicki pushed her up against the wall and pinned her.
Nicki: What the ***** do you see in tall, dark, and bitchy any way?
Tina: Come on Nicki let me go, and Ill forget about this little encounter.

Meanwhile back at the table.
Bette: Wheres Tina, Wheres T? Im going to find her. She slipped off the stool not so gracefully.
Dana: No Bette stay here Ill go find her.
Bette: Nope! Im going to the bathroom, Ill find her.
She was gone before Shane and Dana could react.

Alice came up then panicked.
Alice: Guys I saw Nicki Marshall here. You know her and Bette hate each other, lets keep them away from one another.
Shane: Good idea, Bettes pretty drunk. Who knows what she would do to her.
Alice: Where are Bette and Tina?
Dana: Bathroom
Alice/Shane: *****! Nicki!

Bette was headed down the hall to the bathroom and spotted Tina being pushed by Nicki.
Nickis head was close to Tinas ear. Tina looked frightened but pissed. Bette walked up quietly behind Nicki and listened to her talk to Tina.

Nicki: I can give you a lot better lovin than that ***** *****. No way shes any good, too selfish, and such a cold *****.
Tina: Nicki let me go, no trouble okay?? Its for your own good to let me go. Tina had seen Bette.
Bette tapped Nicki on the shoulder. Seeing Tina in this situation sobered Bette up real quick.

Bette: Nicki Marshall, the predator ***** form *****.
Nicki: Came to save the little woman Porter?
Bette: Not really, Im sure she can take care of herself; I just saw you and remembered how much I despise you, so I thought Id help her out.
Nicki: Bring it on *****!
Bette: Im giving you a chance Nicki, get the ***** out of my sight, never and I mean never touch or even look at Tina again and Ill let you go without hurting you.

Nicki let go of Tina and turned her attention to Bette. Tina took Bettes arm and tried to pull her away.
Tina: Come on baby, lets go, leave it alone.
Bette gently took Tinas hand off of her arm, and kissed her cheek.
Bette: Ive warned Ms. Marshall before Tina, I dont think she understands, shes not the sharpest knife in the drawer if you know what I mean.
Nicki: Shut the ***** up Porter, I get it alright. Tinas your property and hands off. Well Ill hit on anyone I like, including Tina, shes one a fine looking piece of *****.
Bette: Tina is not my property, she makes her own decisions. But I will defend her and she doesnt want your hands on her.
Nicki: ***** you Porter and your little family of ***** girlfriends!

Bette moved quickly like a cat, she picked her up and threw her against the wall holding her there.
Alice, Dana and Shane got there in time to see Bette holding Nicki up and saying something close to her ear.
Bette looked at Tina as if to say may I?
Tina: Bette you warned her. Do what you have to do; no one talks about our friends that way. Tina was pissed.

Bette: she got close to Nickis face. You are nothing but a low life ***** scum. Nobody talks about my friends or my woman that way. Youve crossed the line this time Marshall prepare to get your ***** kicked.
Nicki: Like I said, ***** you Porter.

That was all Bette needed. She reared back and punched her square in the mouth.
Bette: You motherfucking *****, I warned you to step offShe pulled her fist back and hit her again this time in the eye. She was getting ready to hit her again but Shane grabbed her. Nicki slid down the wall to the floor.
Bette: looking down at Nicki. If I ever catch you near Tina or my friends you can kiss your ***** goodbye. *****!

Tina took one side of Bette and Shane got the other they led her out to the car.
Alice and Dana followed.
Tina: Damn baby youve got a hellava punch.
Bette: Im sorry Tina.
Shane: She deserved it Bette, shes deserved it for along time, from a lot of people.
Tina: Its okay Bette. She pulled Bette to her kissing her. Im kind of turned on by your defending me.
Bette: smiling. Shes just such predator. A ***** scavenger *****.
Alice: You were great Porter, you defended us, and you kicked her *****.
Dana: Totally, she was out.
Bette: Im sorry guys.
Alice: Nothing to be sorry about.
Bette: I hate resorting to violence, but when I saw her hands on Tina, I lost it.
Shane: Nicki knew she could get to you thru Tina. She asked for it.
Dana: I bet she wishes she didnt now.

Tina: Lets go home Baby.
Bette: Yeah enough drama for tonight. Bye guys and thanks.
Shane/Dana: Bye
Alice: Night Tina and Sugar Ray Porter.

In the car after the girls left.
Tina: Let me see your hand.
Bette: No, Im okay.
Tina: Bette Im a doctor, let me see. I know youre hurt, I can see it in your eyes.
Bette let her take her hand.
Tina: ***** baby, it might be broken. Bettes hand was swollen and cut, bleeding and was starting to bruise. Tina brought it to her lips and kissed it.

Bette: Im really sorry Tina.
Tina: Its alright, no more apologies. Lets get you home so I can take a better look and take care of you. Well get an x-ray first thing in the morning.

Tina drove them home. She got Bette into a tank top and panties and put her in bed.
She then got some water, peroxide and examined it more closely. She cleaned it up and stopped the bleeding.
Tina: Does it hurt much?
Bette: I think it would if I hadnt drank so much. She smiled. Yeah it hurts a little.
Tina went and got an ice pack and an antinflammatory.
Tina: Take this. She gave her the pill and a glass of water. She gently placed the ice on Bettes hand. Tina got in bed beside her and held her.
Bette: Damn, I had plans for my hands tonight.
Tina: Well, you still have one hand and I have both well improvise.
Bette: kissing her. Thank you for being you T.

Tina: kissed her back and pushed her down on the bed. You just take it easy and let me take care of you. Im a doctor, let me do whats best for you, you told me once I have healing hands, let me heal you. Doctors orders.

Bette was feeling the alcohol, the pills and the touch of Tinas hands and mouth.
Tina was kissing her gently, as she kissed her jaw and down her neck Tina looked at her.
Tina: Are you okay?
Bette: Mmm, yeah, if you keep doing that Ill be just fine.
Tina: Stop me if you are hurting.
Bette: Mm, Tina you never hurt me.

Tina was nibbling at her neck down to her collarbone. Tina pushed up her tank top and caressed her *****. She licked her nipples and pinched them, feeling them get hard under her touch. Bettes head bent back her hand reached up to Tinas head, her fingers in Tinas hair. Her hurt hand lay still at her side. She moaned from deep and low in her throat.

Tina continued teasing Bettes *****, sucking and caressing. Her hand was going lower on to Bettes mound; she rested her hand there, until Bettes hand reached down and pushed Tinas hand lower to the wet center of her.

Tina started getting faster, as she felt Bette getting close she stopped and held her hips still.

Tina: You still okay? No pain?

Tina slid down her body now and let her mouth make love to her partner. She pulled Bettes hips toward her as Bettes legs wrapped over her shoulders. Tina licked, nibbled and teased Bettes *****, her fingers went inside the velvet tunnel stroking Bette again as her tongue sucked her *****. Bette was close so close and Tina felt it, so she curled her fingers up to hit Bettes G spot. When she found it she sucked in on her ***** and Bette cried out with a guttural moan.
Bette: AHH.GOD.TINA!!!!!!!
Tina held her steady and still while Bette rode the pleasure waves out a shivering and shuddering climax. Her body finally stilled her legs relaxed. Tina laid her head on Bettes stomach. Bette took her good hand and pulled her up to her.

Bette: Come here baby.
Tina lay beside her face to face. Bette reached over and kissed her.
Bette: I love you Dr. Kennard.
Tina: I love you Bette Porter. Now go to sleep. Ill be right here if you need me in the night. She cuddled up next to her. Wake me if you need me, okay, promise me.
Bette: Ill always need you Tina. But Im fine, the tequila, the pills and your healing hands have done their job. Im going to sleep like a baby.

They got comfortable, fitting together. Body to body. Soul to soul.
