After reading the sweet note from Bette, a smile formed across Tinas face and tears began to well up in her eyes as she remembered the previous night. The feelings of complete happiness and love that had washed over her as she told Bette that she wanted more children was enough to let her know that she had made the right decision. She felt a little foolish for even questioning if she could make a sacrifice, because in reality her having Liz wasnt a sacrificeit was the greatest gift in the world. She was just getting out of bed when her mom called saying that she would be dropping Liz off at the day care center so that Tina wouldnt have to rush over and pick her up. The whole time that Tina was speaking with Nancy she could her Liz yelling in the background wanting to talk on the phone.

Mommy, mommy!
Good morning Liz! Hows my little munchkin doing today?
Liz just giggledshe loved being called little munckin.
Did you behave for grandma?
Yup! I didnt make no trouble at all mommy! Nope no trouble.
Well thats my girl. Okay, mommy has to go and get ready for work, you behave yourself today okay?
Mmmmhhhhmmm.

Tina hung up the phone laughing at the fact that Liz just never seemed to run out of energy. It was days like these that made her realize just how happy she was and just how perfect life seemed to bethe note from Bette conveying her love, a happy marriage, the love and excitement in Lizs voice, the thought of having more childrenwhat more could anyone ask for. Tina began to get ready, and decided that she would take a half-day off so that she and Liz could stop by and see Bette after lunch.

At the CAC, Bette was having one of those days and she couldnt wait until it was over so she could go home and spend time with her wife and daughter. No matter how much time they spent together, it was just never enoughBette wanted to spend every waking minute with them, and now that they had decided to have more children, that feeling was overwhelming. She was lost in a daydream of her family when there was a gentle knock on her office door,

Come in.
knock, knock, knock
Come in.
knock, knock, knock

Bette began to feel a little irritated and walked over to the door as the knocking continued. She opened up the door thinking to herself Oh good lord, just come in already!. Once the door was opened she looked out and saw no one, as she was about to turn around something caught her eye. She looked down and there stood Liza huge smile on her face as she held a daisy up to Bette. Bettes heart just melted at the sight of her daughter standing there, a feeling of euphoria and happiness coursed through her body.

Hi mommy! Surprise!!
Liz! (picking her up and giving her a quick kiss on her forehead) Hi little onewhat are you doing here?

Liz wrapped her arms tightly around Bettes neck and just giggled. All of a sudden, Tina appeared in front of Bette and planted a huge kiss on her lips.

Hi baby!
Mmmmmm, hi there yourself. What are you doing here?
Surprising you. Thought we could bring you some lunch and spend some time with you. But we can go if youre too busy.
No, no, no. You arent going anywhere, Im definitely never too busy for my two favorite girls.
Good I brought some sandwiches.

Liz, Bette and Tina sat in Bettes office eating lunch, talking and laughingthoroughly enjoying each others company. Bette and Tina were sitting on the couch watching as Liz ran around the office playing with everything. It seemed that lunch had recharged Lizs batteries and she showed no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Mommy, mommy look!

Liz had taken the caps of the water bottles and had placed them over her eyes. She was laughing at herself as she tried as hard as she could to keep them there and not let them fall.

Now Liz had placed the paper bag on top of her head, using it as a hat as she placed the bottle caps over her eyes again. Bette and Tina were laughing hysterically at their daughter, until their sides began to ache. They began pointing at each other as they tried to lay blame for their daughters behavior on each other through the laughter.

She gets it from you!
Uh, uh. She gets it from you!

Suddenly they heard a loud thump. Both Bette and Tina sat straight up, their laughter quickly silenced as they looked at Liz sprawled out on the floor. Bette quickly ran over to Liz, as tears began to form in Lizs little eyes. Thinking quickly, Bette yelled SAFE while making the motions of an umpire before beginning to cheer for Liz. Confused Liz got up, forgetting about her fall and began to laugh at Bettes antics. Liz laughed and began running around as Bette chased her. Tina was watching this interaction and closed her eyes, shaking her head as she began to laugh to herself about Bettes quick thinking to get Lizs mind off of being hurt. As she was lost in her thoughts she heard another thud, this time against the couch. She quickly opened her eyes, this time to see Liz reeling backwards after running into the side of the couch, as Bette stopped in her tracks, her eyes wide with worry. Liz stepped back, stunned at first, then she shook her head and continued running.

Oh my goodness, Miss Grace

What?
Miss Grace (laughing)

Liz continued to run around playing as Bette sat back down on the couch next to Tina. Bette reached her hand up to Tinas face, lightly caressing her cheek before gently kissing her. Tina pulled back and gazed in to Bettes eyes,

Babeyou sure you want more kids? Miss Grace over there is already a handful.
That she is T, but she is a wonderful handful. I could probably handle a dozen of those handfuls
WWHHAATTT?
Just kidding T, just kidding.

Tina swatted Bettes arm playfully as they both began to laugh. Bette leaned in to kiss Tina again, when she felt something hit the back of her head. She turned to see what had hit her and felt something smack her forehead. Tina had also gotten hit and was looking around to see what it was and also to see where Liz had gone off too. They both turned to see Liz sitting on Bettes desk, the jar of jellybeans that Bette always kept there was open in front of Liz who was laughing. Liz reached into the jar, pulled out two jellybeans and threw them at Bette and Tina. She began laughing uncontrollably at the funny faces her two mommies made when they got hit with the candy.

Hey little oneknock that off

Bette picked up a jellybean and threw it back at Liz hitting her in the chest. Both Bette and Liz began laughing as they continued flinging jellybeans back and forth at each other. Tina sat there shaking her headgreat I already have two kids right here and she wants more. Seeing Tina shake her head, Bette winked at Liz and threw a jellybean at Tina hitting her on the head. Picking up on Bettes cue, Liz flung one over at Tina as well. Now all three off them were slinging jellybeans at each other and running around the office. Tina suddenly picked up Liz and began twirling around with her in her arms.

Okay munchkin, we had better get going so mommy can get back to work.
No! I want to stay here with mommy.
Liz, we have to let mommy get some work done so she can come home early to be with you.
NoNo I dont want to go home, I want to stay with mommy!

Hey little one, you know what? I love you
I love you too mommy!
You think I should come home with you?
Yup!
Okay, settled then

Babe are you sure you can take off early today?
Well I might as well seeing as how I got sooo much accomplished since you two decided to surprise me.

Bette began to pack up her things from the office as Liz helped Tina pick up the jellybeans that were now strewn all over the office. A few minutes later, they were walking out the door. Bette and Tina were walking hand in hand while Liz skipped along in front of them. They walked out of the CAC the picture of the perfect familyhappy, loving, and ready for anythingincluding more little munchkins running around.

Bette leaned, brushing her lips against Tinas soft lips before planting a kiss on the lips she loved so much. Hearing Liz giggle at her two mommies kissing, Bette pulled back.

Winking at Liz in the car seatholding up a bag of jellybeans and shaking it.
I love you too Lizand were going to continue this at home.

Liz giggled and Tina just shook her head thinking of the mess they were going to make at home. Bette began walking to her carshe was smiling as sweet happy thoughts danced through her head. Her dreams, Tinas dreams.Their dreams were all coming trueand the wonderful memories that happened on the way to those dreams would be ones to be cherished forever.
