Later that day at the Planet.

Tina walks in and see Dana sitting at a table. She goes to join her.

Tina: Hey.

Dana: Hey T. Whats going on?

Tina: Nothing. I just go off of work and came to get an energy drink. I have a lot of paperwork to do tonite so I dont have to do it tomorrow.

Dana: What are you doing tomorrow?

Tina: I have a date.

Dana: With who?

Tina: Regan

Dana: AWWWWW. Thats cute!

Alice: I know I am. Thank you, baby. ( Kissing Dana On the lips)

Dana Hi, Yes you are, and Im talking about Tina and Regan. Theyre going on a date tomorrow.

Alice: Your going on a date with Regan?

Tina: Yeah.

Dana: Who asked who?

Regan: I asked her.

Alice: What did she say?

Tina: Yes.

Dana: Is that something your ready to do?

Tina: I think so.

Alice: What about Bette?

Tina: What about Bette? She and I arent together anymore. I can see who I want.

Alice: I just dont want this to becoming an every time she sees you together.

Dana: Yeah. But in the end we just want you to be happy. If Regan does that then Im all for it! Right Al.

Alice: You bet. So I want details. Where are you going? What are you doing?

Tina: Dont really know. I asked her. Ive never really done that before. I dont really know what she likes or anything like that. I just said we were gonna go on a day date.

Alice: A what?

Dana: Like a date in the day?

Tina: Yeah.

Alice: Why? That sound boring!

Tina: Well it is if you make it that way. I kinda what to go shopping with her. To kinda get a fell for her taste in stuff. Likes and dislikes. There isnt as much of expectation when you do on a date during the day. You know the kiss and stuff.

Alice: But you havent kissed her.

Tina:Yes I did.

Dana: You kissed her? Oh My God. I always thought she had the softest looking lips.

Alice: Excuse me?

Dana: It was like 10 years ago. I had a small crush on her. So small not even detectable by radar. Its not a big deal.

Alice: And now?

Dana: We are not talking about this.

Alice: And why not?

Dana leans toward Alice and smile that 1000 watt Dana Fairbanks smile at her pouting girlfriend. Putting her hand on Alices arm and stroking it

Dana: Because Im dating this really hot investigative reporter that is smart and funny and my best friend. And no one can hold a candle to her. Shes just so damn hot!

Tina: Nice save Dane.

Dana: Thank you. Thank you.

The trio is sitting smiling at each other when they hear “Just like a pill” by Pink. Tina’s phone is going off.

Tina: Its Bette. Be right back

Tina gets up from the table and answers her phone.

Tina: Hello

Bette: Hey Tina. I hope Im not bother you.

Tina: No I was just hanging out with Alice and Dana. Whats up?

Bette: I was wondering if we could talk? About us?

Tina: What about us?

Bette: I wanted to see if there was even the smallest chance for us to be you know us again?

Tina: I dont know Bette.

Bette: I know its a lot to ask. Especially after the way I acted when you were with her.

Tina: Her name is Regan.

Bette: Okay Regan. I just miss us and I want it back. I just want to know if we could ever be again.

Tina: I miss us too But I dont know if I can trust you again. What you did really hurt me.

Bette: I know. I want a chance to fix it.

Tina: I dont know. I need to think about this.

Bette: Thats totally ok. I just want to talk. If you decide that we cant be us or even friends Ill accept that.

Tina: Ill give you a call when Ive decided.

Bette: All right. Ill talk to you then. Bye T.

Tina: Bye Bette.

Tina just holds the phone to her head for another ten seconds. Her insides start to move around. She hasnt got these feeling since she and Bette had been together. It was her love for Bette. She still loved Bette. But Bette hurt her the worst way possible. She wanted to move on but she cant. Tina takes a deep breathe and goes back inside. She sees Shane has joined the group.

Alice: What did Bette want?

Tina: Just to say hi. She misses me.

Shane: Do you miss her?

Tina: Sometimes.. Im just still mad. And hurt.

Dana: Totally understand able.

Alice: Yeah.

Shane: I know this is kinda personal, but do you think that you two will ever get back together?

Tina: I dont know. I havent given it much thought. I mean we lost the baby and she just got really into work and doesnt even seem to have gone though the pain. Then she slept with Candace.

Alice: Well just take your time to think about it. Just do whatever makes you happy.

Dana: Yeah.

Just then a teenage girl walks up to the table.

Teenage Fan: Excuse me, but are you Dana Fairbanks?

Dana turns to the fan.
Dana: Thats me.

Teenage Fan: Oh My God. You are my favorite player you did so well against Serena. Can I get your autograph? (holding out a Subaru ad.)

Dana: Sure. And thanks. Do you play?

Teenage Fan: Yeah Since I was like five. I love to play.

Dana: Good. Maybe you and I will play against each other someday.

Teenage Oh My God, Thank you so much. Good luck to you!!!

Tina: So Dana how s the game coming along.


They chat for awhile. Tina thankful for the fan causing interference. She didnt really want to answer that question. After awhile they went their separate ways before Radar gets started. Shane has to get ready for the night and the happy couple is going out to dinner.
Tina is on her way to her place when she starts to think about Bette. How they had been when they first got together. She was sweet and attentive. Cared about everything Tina had said. Got her flowers just because. Ordered dinner so Tina didnt have to cook when she got home from work. Made love to her and treated her like a queen. It made Tina feel really special. But as the days, months and years went by the attentiveness faded away. They had gone into a comfortable place. Bette had taken the lead and Tina had followed because Bette was everything to her. Anything Bette wanted she would bend over backwards to make it happen. But not anymore. She had given Bette her all and she just stepped on it. Thrown it out like it was nothing. By the time she comes out of her trance like state she sees that she is parked out side of Regan new house. See doesnt know why she here but she gets out of her car and walk to the front door. Regan answers the door.


Regan: Thank god I was starving your not the deliver guy. Tina, what are you doing here?

Tina: I dont know really. I was driving along, thinking and I ended up here.

Regan: Well come on in. Pizza is on the way, do you want a drink?

Regan moves aside to let Tina in and walks down the hall way to the would be living room. In it right now are a really big TV and a couch, coffee table and a bunch of boxes with the words movies and video games written on them.

Tina: No, but thank you. What are you doing?

Regan: Unpacking. I had all my stuff moved yesterday because we agreed on a price. I just had to sign the papers.

Tina: Wow. Thats great. You celebrities take care of stuff fast.

Regan: Yeah. So what are you doing here?

Tina: Cant I come to see you?

Regan: Well yeah. But I have a feeling you didnt come here just to see me.

Tina: I got a phone call.

Regan: From?

Tina: Bette.

Regan: Oh. Was it that bad? I thought you two were okay.

Tina: We are. But she wants to try to be together again.

Regan: I see. What did you friends have to say?

Tina: I told them she called and they asked if we were going to try to get back together

Regan: But

Tina: I dont think I want to.

Regan: Then tell them that.

Tina: But I think that I want to though.

Regan: So you dont know what to do?

Tina: Pretty much.

They sit on the couch and begin to talk about Tinas situation

Regan: And you come to the women you asked out on date and kissed not 12 hours ago for some advice.

Tina: Well I didnt come here for advice.

Regan: Then why did you come here? You could have talked to Alice, or Dana, or Shane.

Tina: I know but they want us to get back together.

Regan: Of course they do.

Tina: And they will make me want to do that. Ya know. I just want to not be pushed in any direction that will try to push me one way or the other.

Regan: But Im the other way.

Tina: I know.

Regan: Well then I think you need to think long and hard about it. I mean you were together for seven years.

Tina: How can you be so objective? I mean I just asked you out on a date and then I tell you my ex wife wants me back.

Regan: Truth be told I want to be with you, ever since high school. But you never really got to know me and I never really got to know you. This is just a big learning experience for the both of us. It might lead us to each other or other people. But the bottom line is is that I want you to be happy. And if its with me YAY!!! and if its with Bette yay.

Tina: Thank you.

Going to hug Regan when the door bell rings. She gets up and goes to the door before Tina can hug her.

Regan: Pizza here. Hope you like anchovies.

Regan walks out of the room and sighs.

Regan to herself: Thats right jack ***** send her right back to her wife.


Tina starts to walk around Regans living room. She sees some pictures. She sees Regans mom and dad, her sister, basketball team phone from like sixth grade. She picks up that picture and looks. Regan is little with braids in her hair and braces in on her teeth. She is laughing when Regan walks into the room with the pizza.

Regan: I would have burned that picture if it didnt get me laid a lot.

Tina: Oh really.

Regan: Oh yeah. Laughing at my former goofy self gets the ladies every time.

Tina: So are you gonna get some tonite?

Regan: If I can get you drunk enough.

They talk for awhile when Tina starts to look at Regans movie collection.

Tina: you have Thelma and Louise.

Regan: What film collection owned by a ***** is complete without Thelma and Louise?

Tina: Your right? I havent seen it in awhile.

Regan: Do you want to watch it now?

Tina: That would be cool.

Regan: okay then.

Regan and Tina watch the movie. They are sitting on the couch a cushion apart. But as the movies plays the cushion is gone and Tina has her head on Regans shoulder. Regan is kinda nervous but plays it off like it nothing. And as the movie ends Regan is asleep. Tina is asleep with her head in Regans lap. She jerks awake what she hears the static on the tv. She looks down to see Tina.

Regan: Uh Tina.

Tina is snoring.

Regan: Tina.

Tina: Night Night.

Regan: Great.

Regan slides from under Tina and looks at her.

Regan: Looks like I have a house guest on the first day.

Regan cleans up the pizza mess. And decides that the couch isnt good for Tina so she picks her up from the couch. With Tinas head by hers Regan walks her up the stairs to the only bed in the house. Tina puts her arms around Regans neck and starts to breath on Regans face and her breath tickles her neck. she laughs and then Tina kisses her neck and she stops dead in her tracks. She looks over at Tina who is asleep. But is smiling.

Regan: Tina

No response.

Regan: Oh well.

When she reaches the bedroom she puts Tina on the bed and takes off her shoes and covers her up. She walks over to turn of the lights and just looks at Tina. She leaves the room thinking that she wasnt gonna lose Tina to Bette if she could help it.
