AT 1230 Regan is heading out the door to get to the planet.

Regan: Keys, watch, wallet. (checking herself out in the mirror) and I look good.

She smiles one last time in the mirror before she leaves. When she opens the door she sees someone she didnt expect to see.

Regan: Hey. What are you doing here?

Arianna: You have a press conference to go to. And your dressed already. Thats great.

Regan: What press conference?

Arianna: Christina is being a greedy *****. So the team is announcing today that you are a signed member of the team.

Regan: But I have to go meet Tina.

Arianna: Not today. You have to go come on.

Regan: Well at least let me call Tina.

Arianna: Theres no time. You have to get the information down. But after you can call her.

Arianna grabs Regans arm and pulls her to the waiting car.

Its 130 at the planet and Tina is waiting for Regan. She looks at her watch and huffs in anger. She looks at her phone and still no calls. She huffs again.

Tina: Where are you?

Bette: Wheres who?

Tina: Regan. She was suppose to meet me half an hour ago. She hasnt even called. What are you doing here?

Bette: I came to see Alice. She said that she wanted to hangout more. I was free so I decided to come.

Tina: Thats great. They miss you ya know.

Bette; I know. But they needed you.

Tina: You needed them, too.

Bette: You should try calling her. Than come over to join us.

Tina: Yeah okay.

Tina dials Regan number. But only gets her voice mail.

Tina: Regan its Tina. I was just wondering what was keeping you. Im at the planet so just give me a call. Bye.

Tina waits for a few more minutes and then heads over to where Bette and Alice are.

Alice: Wheres Regan?

Tina: I dont know. I called no answer.

Alice: Then you should come to lunch with us then.

Tina: I dont want to intrude.

Alice: Your not. Beside we cant leave you here all alone on an empty stomach.

Bette: Yeah come on.

Tina thinks about it and decides it would be good. She could give Bette a chance to
Tina: Okay.

Regan was dragged to a press conference to announce that she was traded and will have a shoe contract with Addidas. She is trying to make a phone call abut she has bad reception.

Regan: *****!! Come on!!

Arianna: What are you doing we have to be on stage soon.

Regan: I just need five minutes to myself. I have a phone call to make.

Arianna: There isnt any time. You have a press conference in five minutes, they have to prep you for the questions.

Regan: Damn it Tina is gonna be so mad. How long is that gonna take?

Arianna: You know I dont have the answer to that question.

Regan: Two minutes? Please?

Craig: Hey there. You ready for the brief?

Regan: No, I have to make a phone call.

Craig: I wish there saw time for that but Christina Marcus has just resigned so we have to get to the stage.

Regan: Jesus Christ.

Regan begins to walk toward the stage while Craig and Arianna tell her the information she need to know, but all she can think about is how mad Tina is gonna be with her about missing the date.

Alice, Bette, and Tina are having lunch at the planet.

Bette: So, Alice what are you writing now?

Alice: A piece on the best places to go a first date. I have to go to ten different restaurant. Tonite Im going to take Dana to New Hope.

Tina: Thats a really hot place. I read about it in the paper.

Bette: Yeah. I bet Dana will like that.

Alice: I hope so.

Bette: Where is Dana today?

Alice: She is doing a photo shoot for Subaru. She said she would try to come by but she didnt think she would make it.

Bette: So Tina how is work going?

Tina: Its good. Getting a lot of people helped. And were helping to build a new shelter in a few days. Im really excited.

Bette: Thats great.

Bette looks at Tina with this look.

Regan finally gets out of the press conference and is in the car driving home. She doesnt know where Tina is but she knows she needs to where Tina is to apologize.

Arianna: What is wrong with you? You look really scared.

Regan: Well lets see I was gonna go on a date with Tina today but you pull me away to go to dumb ***** signing thing that took much longer than needed and couldnt let me make a phone call. And now possibly the only chance I had with her is ruined.

Arianna: Just find out where she is and we can go see her. Ill tell her what happened.

Regan: Fine. But your not talking to her.

Regan calls Dana.

Dana picks up: Hey.

Regan: Hey

Dana: I heard about your big day, Congratulations.

Regan: Thanks. Um Dana have you talked to Tina?

Dana: Not today since this morning but I was on my way to the plant to meet up with Bette and Alice. She might be there. Why?

Regan: I messed up.

Dana: What did you do? You were at the press confyou had a date with Tina!!! You didnt get to call herdid you?

Regan: NO. I was just wondering if you can find out where she is. I really want to apologize to her to her face.

Dana: Yeah give me a sec and Ill call you right back

Regan Thank you so much.

Dana: Yea no problem.

They disconnect and Regan just waits for her phone to ring. Three minutes later her phone rings

Regan: Hello

Dana: Its me. I just talked to Alice. Shes at the planet.

Regan: Thanks a lot.

Dana: But shes not really happy with you right now. I dont know if she will even talk to you.

Regan: I wouldnt talk to me either but I have to explain myself.

Dana: I understand.

Regan: Thanks Dana.

Dana: I got your back. I guess Ill be seeing you at the planet.

Regan: Yeah. I just hope Tina doesnt rip me a new one. See ya.

Dana: bye.

Regan to the driver: To the planet.

Alice: That was Dana she on the way.

Bette: Did she say how the shoot went?

Alice: No, but well hear all about it when she get here.

Tina: I dont know how she does that? Play Tennis, work out get interviewed.

Bette: I bet Regan has to go through all that to.

Alice: Yeah. But her stuff only lasts for a season. Danas is all the time.

Bette: Yeah. But what kinda life can you lead. Trying to have friends and love but always having to have engagements and games. I dont know if I would want that or could be with anyone that was like that.

Tina: if they were worth it.

Bette: even if they were you two would have to plan to see each other and those plans might fall through for any reason.

Tina: I would try to make it work.

Bette: I love you. I want to make it work. I will don what ever it take

Tina: Stop it. I cant do this not here. Your just doing this because Regan stood me up.

Alice: Speak of the devil.

Regan walks in with her eyes staring in fear of what Tina will say.

Regan: Tina.

Tina looks really angry.

Regan: I need to explain.

Tina: Whats there to explain? You didnt show up for our date and you couldnt even call.

Regan: Thats not what happen exactly.

Tina: Look, I dont feel like having my emotions played with.

Regan: That was not what I meant to do.

Tina: But its what you did.

Regan: I know but there is an explanation.

Tina: I dont care.

Regan: Just give me two minutes to explain and if even after that you dont want to talk to me anymore you wont have to.

Tina looks at Regan and sees that she is sincere but she just doesnt want to.

Dana: Just give her two minutes.

Everyone turns to see that Dana has arrived.

Alice: She doesnt have to do anything. So why dont you just leave Tina alone!

Regan: Is that what you want?

Tina: You have two minutes.

Regan: Thank God. Do you want to go somewhere to talk or would you like to do it where?

Tina: Over here. Ill be right back.

Regan and Tina walk away form the group and they walk to a corner of the shop.

Regan sits down. Are you gonna sit?

Tina I would prefer to stand thank you.

Regan: Ok.

Tina: You time started ten seconds ago.

Regan: I was on my way out the door to meet you when Arianna was at my door step telling me about this press conference I had to go to. Apparently Christina Miller decided to try and renegotiate her contract because she found out about mine. She wanted more money and she wanted it from me. The team decided to announce that I was the new star of the team in order to try and get her to stay with her contract. Which worked now because we are now the Kobe and Shag of the womens league. Aside form that they announced my shoe contract that went along with the signing announcement. Thats where I was all day. I couldnt make a phone call because I either had reporters to talk to or had no reception on my phone. I called Dana to see where you were because I thought that I if tried to call you, you wouldnt talk to me. I tried I really did but this is my job. At least for now. Im so sorry.

Tina sits at the table with Regan.

Tina: Really?

Regan: Yes you can ask Dana. She found out about it.

Tina: How?

Regan: Im not sure. I think her new agent might have found out. She and Arianna work together.

Tina: Im sorry.

Regan: You dont have to be sorry about anything. Im the one whose sorry.

There is a comfortable silence as Tina and Regan look at each other. Tina is the first to break the silence.

Tina: So how was the press conference?

Regan: It was boring and annoying and the only thing I wanted to do was be with you.

Tina takes Regan’s hand and smiles.

Regan: Ive been waiting for that all day.

Tina: Well Ive been waiting for this

Tina kisses Regan. Its short but sweet.

Over where Bette Alice and Dana are standing.

Dana: I guess they made up.

Bette: I have to go. She grabs her purse and leaves the Planet.

Alice: Bettewait.

Alice runs after her.
