Shane ran outside to see that Dana was in her car at the end of Alice’s drive way. She ran to her.

Shane: Dana what happend?

Dana still looked a little shaken up.

Dana: I…Umm…I was pulling out…and I didn’t look where…and then a car…I stopped just in time.

Shane opened Dana’s car door and pulled her out.

Shane: Dana how about I drive you back to your house and then you tell me what is going on?

Dana just nodded her head.

At Dana’s House

Shane pratically had to drag Dana into her own house. They both sat down on Dana’s couch.

Shane: Are you going to tell me what is going on? I know that you are upset about Alice going to the hospital. I am to. You should have heard me last night trying to talk Bette into thinking that there was another way. I jsut want to help you. I may not have been able to help Alice but I know that I can help you.

Dana: Bette isn’t the only one that has dealt with this in the past.

Shane: Dana what are you talking about? Were you…

Dana: No it wasn’t like that. My sister was anorexic.

Shane: I didn’t know you had a sister.

Dana: Not a lot of people do.

Shane: So what happened?

Dana: I was about 15 at the time and she was 20. My parents found out that she was so they sent her to soem hospital so that she could get some help. A couple of weeks later we got a phone call saying that she had become very depressed while she was there and she killed herself.

Shane: And you think that is going to happen to Alice?

Dana just nodded. She had tears in her eyes and she could no longer just sit there. She got up and started pacing around the room.

Dana: We have to do something. I don’t want her to die. She can’t die. Not after she told me that she…

Dana stopped talking and walking at the same time.

Shane: She told you what? What did she tell you?

Dana: She told me that she loved me. She told me that when we were packing her clothes.

*Flashback*

Alice hurried the two into her bedroom. And took Dana’s face in her hands.

Alice: Dana you have to listen to me. I need you to know this. It may be at a weak point in my life but I want you to know that I love you. Not only that I love you but that I am in love with you.

Dana: You what?

Alice answered her question with a kiss.

Alice: Does that answer your question?

Dana: Yes but I don’t want you to go. I need you here. I want you here.

Alice: You and I know that I have to go to this place. I have to get better and this is the only way.

Dana layed down on Alice’s bed while Alice packed. When she was Done Dana was crying on her bed.

Alice: Good bye Dana.

*End flashback*

Dana: We need to get her out of there. We need to rescue her.

Shane got up from her seat and grabbed Dana by the arms.

Shane: Dana, you need to stop even Alice told you that she needed to be there. i’ll tell you what tomorrow I will go to the hospital with you and i will make them let you see her. So that you know that she is okay.

Dana: You promise?

Shane: I swear. I’m glad that you finally have someone that is good for you and that loves you just as much as you love her.
