Bette and Tina were bantering as Bette unlocked the door and they walked in the house.

Tell me I didnt just hear you say the things you do for love Tina said trying not to express any emotion.

I cant Bette said. Its true.

So let me see if I understand what you were trying to say Tina said trying to act hurt and angry. Showing me how much you love me is so hard on you but because you love me you will do it.

Baby I was just Bette said.

Well since you feel that way there will be no touching, no kissing and no making love. Tina said interrupting Bette.

But T I was just Bette started to say but she stopped when she heard Tina laughing. She smiled as she started towards Tina with one intention in mind You are so going to pay for that.

Should I be scared? Tina asked while laughing softly.

I dont know Bette said as she reached over to pull Tina in to her arms. Time will tell.

Bette put her arms around Tina, pulled her close and began to kiss her. It was a long slow sensuous kiss that went on for several long minutes before they pulled back from one another.

If that was your way of making me pay I will tease you more often Tina said breathlessly.

Bette just laughed and leaned in to gently kiss Tina again before she pulled away and took Tinas hand and started towards their bedroom. When she reached the doorway she stopped and turned to Tina with a look of uncertainty in her eyes.

Baby what is it? Tina said seeing the uncertainty in Bettes eyes.

Are you going to be okay with this? Bette asked. Us making love in our room considering what happened that night. After the accident you werent comfortable in here.

I wasnt comfortable there because you were in the other bedroom Tina said softly. Bette we cant change what happened that night, but we are working to get past all of that. We share many happy memories in this bedroom too and God willing we will make many more new memories starting tonight.

Have I mentioned that I love you Bette said.

Yes baby Tina laughed. I love you too. Now what do you say about making those new memories?

Bettes only answer was to pull Tina in to the bedroom and over to the bed where she crawled on top and pulled Tina up with her. Bette rolled Tina on to her back and positioned her self so that she was half lying on Tina when she began to kiss her. Their lips met time and time again, their tongues meeting and melding together, with each kiss full of passion, love and desire. They were touching each other, caressing each other through their clothes and they were kissing as if there was no tomorrow. As if they could just not get enough of each others mouths. After several long minutes Bette broke the kiss and started to get up from the bed and as she did so, she grabbed Tinas hand and pulled her up with her. Tina thought for a moment that Bette was upset and she reached out to gently touch Bettes arm.

Babe is something wrong Tina asked.

These clothes have to go now Bette said impatiently as she reached out and started to remove Tinas clothes one by one. She then quickly removed her own clothes before she began to kiss Tina as she pushed her back towards the bed.

When Tina felt the back of her legs touch the bed, she pulled away from Bette long enough for the two of them to crawl back on to the bed. Bette hesitated for a moment, staring in to Tinas eyes, before she leaned in and began to kiss Tina again and they started to make love to one another. This kiss was about so many things for the both of them. It wasnt just about their passion or desire for one another. It was about their love for one another, about them making new memories together, it was about forgiveness and about truly starting over again. Each and every kiss and touch was an expression of these things and when their passion and desire overtook them and they reached ***** together they hung on to each other as if to never let go. They gradually loosened their hold on one another as their bodies returned to normal. They were still were laying in each other arms several minutes later when Tina realized that Bette had tears running down her face. Tina sat up propping herself up with her right elbow while she wiped at Bettes tears with her left hand.

Bette Tina said softly. Baby why the tears?

Just happy tears Bette said Are you sure I am not dreaming?

No babe your not dreaming Tina laughed softly.

Thank God Bette said as she grabbed hold of Tinas left hand gently kissing it and then absentmindedly caressing it. Thank you for finding someway, within your heart, to give us this chance.

Bette Tina said. My heart tells me I belong here with you, even though I fought it for a while. I love you and I really want us to be together.

I want that too Bette said as she pulled Tinas left hand back up to her mouth and began to kiss it and then to lick at her fingers. I want it so much.

Tina watched as Bettes tongue began to lick at her fingers and she felt her desire began to grow. Tina gently pulled her hand away from Bette, but only to replace it with her mouth and tongue. She gently teased Bettes tongue with hers before she plunged it deep in to Bettes mouth trying to taste every part of Bettes mouth. Bette let Tina have her fill of her mouth but at the first opportunity she took control of the kiss. She soon had Tina lying on her back and was kissing her with abandon. Her tongue thrusting in and out of Tinas mouth and then moving down so that she could lick at Tina necks and then back up to find her mouth again. She pulled back from Tina trying to catch her breath and slow down her passion. Her hand began to fondle Tinas breast and then began to knead it slowly before she slid her hand down across Tinas stomach to find Tinas core. She only touched Tina for one instant before she slid her hand back up her body towards her breast. Bette pulled away from Tinas mouth and began to kiss down the same path that her hand had taken only moments ago. As she neared Tinas center she felt Tina holding her breath waiting for the intimate contact but she stopped just inches away and lay there waiting for Tina to look down at her before making any contact. When Tina realized that Bette had stopped moving she let out her breath and looked down at Bette.

Baby, tell me what you want Bette said softly.

I want you to make love to me Tina said. I want to feel your mouth on me and you touching me.

Is that what you really want? Bette asked as she gently touched Tina one more time and then stopped again.

Are you sure? Bette asked.

Are you trying to drive me crazy Tina asked her frustration becoming apparent.

So you want this? Bette said as she bent down and tasted Tina for one brief instant before she pulled back.

Tina sucked in her breath when she felt Bettes mouth on her but then she froze when she pulled away.

Please Tina said breathlessly.

Bette leaned down and gave Tina what she had asked for and she soon had her writhing underneath her as she reached her *****. When Bette felt Tinas body began to relax she moved back up to gently kiss Tina and lay beside her to wait while Tina caught her breath. When Tina caught her breath she rolled over and positioned herself so that she was lying on Bette and she had Bettes hands pinned down with her hands on each side of Bettes head. She started to gently tease Bettes mouth with her own before she pulled back and looked in to Bettes eyes.

I love you Tina said as she reached down to gently kiss Bette before pulling back again. I love making love to you, with you even when you drive me crazy teasing me.

Hey Bette said smiling. I warned you that you were going to pay for teasing me earlier and besides I gave in before too long.

Okay were even Tina said as she leaned down to start to kiss Bette passionately. Well not quite yet.

Tina held Bette down while she kissed her passionately. She moved so that she was half lying on Bette so that she could knead and kiss Bettes ***** before her hand made its way down to touch Bette intimately. Tina began to stroke Bette as she sucked at Bettes lower lip and then kissed her. Tina could feel the desire building in Bette and she increased the rhythm of her stroke and she soon had Bette crying out her name when she reached her peak. Bette pulled Tina in to her arms and held her there while her breathing returned to normal.

I think were even now Bette said smiling as she pulled Tina in closer to her.

They lay there contentedly for a while just holding one another before they dozed off to sleep. Tina woke several hours later and gingerly eased away from Bette so she could go to the bathroom and then get her something to drink. She fixed her something cold to drink and walked over to the back door. She opened the door and stood there breathing in the night air, staring at the stars and thinking about everything that had happened today. Tina was lost in her own thoughts so she didnt notice that Bette had walked up behind her until she felt Bettes arms slide around her from behind and she felt Bettes body close to her.

Hey Tina said as she leaned back to gently kiss Bette.

I woke up and you were gone Bette said.

I was thirsty Tina said holding up her glass. I was also enjoying the stars.

You seemed lost in your own thoughts when I walked up Bette said. Care to share?

I was just thinking about today and my life for the past couple of months Tina said. I am glad that I am here but I sure did take the long road home.

You had to take the road that you could deal with Bette said as she pulled Tina close. The important thing is that we are here together and I think we are going to be better than ever after some hard work. We are both committed to making this work, just like we made a commitment to each other all of those years ago.

Speaking of commitments Tina said softly as she held up her left hand. I think I am missing something.

Bette felt her heart burst with love for this woman she was holding as she turned Tina around and kissed her. She led Tina back in to their room and over to her jewelry box where she had placed Tinas ring after the accident. She took the ring out of the box and turned to Tina taking her left hand in hers and she gently slipped the ring back on to Tinas finger and then gently kissed her ring.
