It was Monday morning, most of LA would be busily getting ready for work and complaining about how the weekend had quickly come to an end, however the “girls” were seated at their usual table in the Planet. Bette had the day off because the gallery wasn’t open on Mondays. Tina didn’t have any work to do at the Center, and Alice had been putting in so much time at the magazine, that they told her to take the day off. They made small talk while they waited for Shane and Dana to get there. It was decided, by Bette, that since none of them had any plans, that they all should do something together.

Bette: So what do you think about a movie?

Alice: It’s so nice out today, I don’t want to sit inside.

Tina: Well, what about doing a little shopping?

In unison Bette and Alice grumbled.

Tina: OK, no shopping then.

Just then Shane had walked up to the table.

Shane: Hey, What’s up?

Alice: Hey, oh nothing. Were trying
to figure out what we want to do
today. Got any sugestions?

Shane: Whatever, I don’t care

Alice: That’s a lot of help

Shane just shugged her shoulders and looked at Tina and Bette.

Shane: What do you two want to do?

Tina and Bette: We don’t know

Tina: Maybe we should just wait for Dana, and go from there.

Everyone agreed and continued to make small talk.

Meanwhile…

Alexis had decided that she needed to get out of the house. She set out walking not sure of where she was going untill she approched a small cafe. “I’ve been back in LA for 3 months, i can’t believe I’ve never been in here before” Alexis said to herself as she strolled into the Planet. She walked up to the counter placed her order and took a seat at a small table near the back. As she looked around she thought,”nice place, and it’s close to home. I should come here more often”

She hadn’t noticed that since she had walked in, that a table of women had not taken there eyes off of her. Once she had sat down they all looked back at eachother. Alice was the first to speak,

Alice: WOW! Like WOW!

Shane,Tina,and Bette: Yea!

Alice: She is gorgeous, I’ve never seen her in here before, have you?

Shane: No, I don’t think so, but she does kinda look fimular.

Bette: Shane, if she was another one of your one night stands, and you can’t remember that face, I think you should maybe slow down.

Tina and Alice burst out laughing at Bette’s comment. They both knew how Bette felt about Shane’s dissregard of monoagmy, but she was right, how could someone ever forget a face like that!

Shane had paid no attention to Bette’s comment or Alice and Tina’s laughter. She just couldn’t take her eyes of that women.
“I know her, I’m sure of it, just from where?” She thought.

By this time Alexis had been sipping her coffee and looking around when her eyes fell on a table of beautiful women.”Very nice” she thought as she studied each one. Finally her gaze settled on the one who was looking right back at her. She smiled coiley and shifted here eyes. As she turned she thought,”wow that really looks like…., no it can’t be.

Once Shane saw that smile, she knew she had to make her move, even if she had been with this girl before and couldn’t remember, it was worth a second go.

Shane: Guys I’ll be back in a minute.

They wached as Shane got up and started walking toward the woman, each knew just what Shane would do. Give her a quick smile, lay on the charm and end up with a ***** buddy.

Alice: God I hate how she just has so much damn comfidence, where the ***** does it come from!

Tina and Bette both shrugged, but they knew what she was talking about, Shane just had a way about her, she could charm the pants off anyone.

They continued to watch as she made her way to the womans table.

Alexis had refocused her eyes on the women who was approaching her. As she came closer Alexis knew she had seen this woman before. She recognized that walk, that hair, thoes eyes. But it couldn’t be her, could it?

Shane stopped just shy of the chair on the other side of Alexis’ table. And gave a 1000 watt smile.

Shane: Hi, I’m Shane, may I..

She was cut off by Alexis who stood up, and amediatly went to Shane.
Alexis: Oh my god, Oh my god, Shane it is you! Oh my god!

Just then, that voice registered with Shane and she remembered where she knew this women from.

Shane: Alexis!?
