As the sun peaked its head out from behind the horizon and began to shed some light on the Kennard farm Tina opened her eyes still half asleep and rolled over expecting to feel Bette lying next to her. When she felt nothing she sat up and rubbed her eyes as she looked around in confusion.

Bette?

Babe?

Tina was now suddenly wide-awake and she sprang out of bed and ran to the bathroom looking for Bette. She didnt find Bette there or in the other guest room so she grabbed her robe and tore down the stairs.

BETTE?

Tina didnt care that she might be waking up the entire house, she was worried about her wife. Tina ran through the kitchen and outside to find her dad sitting on the bench next to the porch smiling.

Dad have you seen Bette?

Lance chuckled and pointed to the chicken coup. Tina looked confused and Lance nudged her as he laughed.

Seems weve made quite a country girl out of her. She was up before me even and shes already milked Bessie and now shes getting eggs for breakfast.

Tina stood with her mouth open in complete shock as she watched Bette emerge from the henhouse with a bucket full of eggs and not a single feather on her. Bette grinned at Tina and laughed.

Morning sleepyhead. Breakfast should be ready in an hour.

Huh?

Bette laughed as Tina struggled to hide her confusion as she just followed her into the house where Bette began cooking eggs and bacon. This cannot be Bette Porter city girl extrodinare thought Tina as she watched Bette expertly crack the eggs and cook them sunny side up like she liked without so much as even breaking the yolk. Jesse and Danny came trooping in the house and Bette tossed them both a few pieces of bacon before sending them upstairs to wake Denise up and Tina thought her eyes were going to pop out of her head. This was not the same Bette Porter who came to the farm a week earlier, no this woman was acting like she spent her entire life on a farm. Denise came down rubbing her eyes and she nearly stumbled in surprise as well to see Bette have breakfast on the table and coffee warming on the stove. The four of them sat and had a wonderful meal with Bette feeding Jesse and Danny right off her plate as the three Kennards watched and laughed at how much Bette had changed from when they got there. Denise and Lance cleaned up so that Bette and Tina could get ready to head to the airport since their flight was at one oclock and they still had to take the crop duster back. After Bette and Tina finished packing everything away Bette turned to Tina and smiled at her.

TI just wanted to say thanks for bringing me here. I know I was kind of a pain earlier in the week but this was fun.

You sure you enjoyed yourself babe?

Yeah. In fact I already told Lance that wed be back for Christmas.

I dont know Bette. You want to deal with snow and all?

Tina looked at her thoughtfully for a second before a smile creped across her face. She walked over to Bette and reached out like she was going to hold her hand and at the last second changed directions and grabbed her shoulder. HARD.

Tina smiled as Bette rubbed her shoulder gently and scowled at her wife. Tina knew that Bette had been a trooper and she was proud of the fact that Bette had gone through so much ***** just for her. Tina held her arms out and Bette willingly fell into them. Tina stroked her hair as Bette relaxed against her wife and they stayed like this until Lance called out that it was time to go. After a long hug and kiss goodbye Tina and Bette piled into the pickup and headed down the road to the duster. Bette had a nauseated look on her face as the little plain approached and Lance laughed after seeing this.

On the horses? ***** nookay lets get on that thing

Lance and Tina laughed as Bette climbed out of the truck and grudgingly put her stuff in the crop duster and got in. She got settled and held on to the plane for dear life as Lance got her off the ground and into the air. Tina looked over at Bette who looked like she wanted to vomit, scream and pass out all at the same time. She smiled at Bette and winked as she took Bettes hand and held it lightly as Bette applied her death grip and held on tight. As soon as the duster was on the ground and they were back at the airport Bette jumped out as fast as she could and thanked God that she made it out alive. Lance helped Tina and Bette with their luggage and after the porter checked it in he turned to his two daughters and gave them both a big hug.

You two have a safe flight home okay? Let your mother and I know you got home safely okay?

Yeah dad we willthanks again for everything

With one last hug and kiss goodbye he turned and got back in the duster and headed back to the farm. Bette watched with a disgusted look on her face as the little plane took off and Tina smiled and nudged her.

Bette shook her head as she followed Tina into the airport so they could check in for their flight. After about thirty minutes they boarded the plane headed for LAX and once they were on board Bette finally settled down and relaxed. Their crazy week of fun was over and now she could go home to her normal crazy life. Tina looked over at her and took her hand as the plane took off.

Did you really have fun babe?

Yeah I did. Except for the horse thing and riding that god awful bullyeah it was fun

Tina laughed as Bette put her head on her shoulder and fell right asleep. She knew Bette was going to be in so much pain as soon as they got home and she was going to be the biggest baby ever since Tina put her through ***** this past week but it was all worth it. She never thought she would see the day when Bette Porter would get down and dirty and actually do some manual labor. Tina drifted off to sleep and before she knew it they had landed and everyone was already getting off the plane. Tina woke Bette up and soon they were grabbing their luggage and heading for a taxi to take them home. As soon as they got home both women passed out and neither awoke until after two in the afternoon the following day. As she expected Bette was a huge baby about how sore she was and how much she needed pampering and against her better judgment Tina gave in and catered to Bettes needs to make up for her week of *****.

A few days later Bette and Tina received an unusual package from Lance and Denise. After Tina opened it she laughed so hard she nearly peed in her pants and she couldnt stop laughing for nearly ten minutes straight. She handed Bette the box and rolled on the ground laughing as Bettes eyes nearly popped out of her head. She picked up the contents of the box and held it out with one hand and looked at it disbelievingly. She turned to Tina who was crying from laughing so hard and she felt the color drain from her face and she felt slightly sick.

Tina was laughing so hard she could barely speak. After a few minuets she settled down and looked at Bette with as straight a face as she could muster.

Tina started laughing again and Bette felt like she was going to pass out as she read the note attached to the thing in her hand.

Bette and Tina,

Well it seems like someone had a good time while they were here enjoying nature and all. Lance took the dogs hunting and this is what they came back with. We are assuming it belongs to one of you since they found it at Tinas favorite spot. Next time girlsmake sure you have everything with you okay?

Bette put her thong down on the table and went to the bedroom to hide. After all she had been though even after they left she was still getting embarrassed left and right. Tina followed Bette into the room and after letting Bette sulk a little before she went over and put her arm on Bettes shoulder and turned her around.

Tina sighed as she stood up and shook her head. Obviously Bette was going to sulk about this even more now since evidence of their joys of nature had been found. She walked back into the living room and threw the thong back in the box and put the box on the table. Bette remained where she was and she couldnt help but be embarrassed yet again. Bette sighed to herself as she had only one thought running through her headI hate that damn farm!!!
