Tina woke to the sun coming in the window; she rolled over to reach for Bette but remembered that she wasnt there. She rubbed her face with her hands and through her hair, her body was craving Bettes touch and she knew it all to well. Tina slowly sat up in bed and heard the front door slam and what sounded like Alice cursing her self. Tina got up and walked into the kitchen to find Alice leaning in front of the sink with her head down muttering to her self.
Al, whats wrong babe?
Shes still marrying Tonya. Alice stated in an abrupt tone.
Tina didnt say anything for a moment, as she had no idea what Alice was talking about, then it hit her, Alice had it for Dana, but Al had that ego that wouldnt let her admit it. It all made sense now, why she hadnt liked Tonya from the start. Dana was her front lawn and Tonya was mowing it.
Oh babe it will be ok. Tina said trying to sound reassuring.
No it wont, she doesnt care how I feel
Have you even told her? Tina asked. Alice turned around to face Tina, she tears in her eyes. Tina pulled her into a hug and Alice simply cried on Tina shoulder for a few seconds before pulling away.
Yes and no, I kissed her a few weeks ago, the night you came here, but actually verbalizing my feelings, no. Alice admitted
Did she kiss you back? Tina asked bluntly
Yeah, but then I left
Al, if you want her to stop and think about this for more than three seconds your going to have to tell her how you feel. If theirs one thing I have learnt in life, its that you have to fight for what you want Al dont let her slip through your fingers
Alice simply nodded and went back to being comforted by Tina, it felt good for both, to have the tables turned.
Hey where did you go last night, I didnt hear you come in? Alice asked changing the subject.
I went to see Bette. Tina said looking down at her feet as though she was in trouble.

I think I caught her a little off guard, Tina says apprehensively.
How do you mean, didnt she know you were coming?
No, ok from the start. I was at work and she just showed up. She said that it was too important to do this any other way than face to face. I agreed to see her last night. I went over and we talked about how we had lost sight of each other along the way. Then she asked me why I was being so nice about it, I said it was because seven years ago she had taken the chance on me and now it was time to repay the favor.

Yeah I think she was expecting me to go over there and yell and scream at her and then tell her to go to *****
Well wouldnt you? I would. Alice said in a sarcastic tone.
Yeah but I have already done that for two weeks, so what you going to do about Dana?” Tina said rerouting the conversation back to Alices dilemma.
I really dont know, any suggestion? Alice asked looking at Tina for some kind of guidance.
Well you have to tell her how you feel, how you do it though is up to you. I know that you probably dont want to have to do this face to face, but I think your going to have to, I dont know, maybe try and romance her a little.
Tina, I dont know how to do that, like I know it usually involves flowers and some sappy music, but
Al, it involves a little more than that
Yeah I know this has just never really been my strong point you know
Tina sat and stewed for a moment trying to think of a good idea.
Al right I have it Tina said excitedly.
Go forth my child Alice said beckoning for Tina to continue.
Ok, well back in the day when Bette and I were first getting together, she would send me flowers at work or something and the note would read something simple, you know like I miss you or I love you
Awwwww, how cute but how does that help me? Alice asked missing Tinas point.
Well maybe just send her flowers at the planet and on the note put something like meet me wherever at eight
That will have to do Alice said accepting Tinas idea as she was completely lost when it came to trying to be romantic or charming and she knew it.



Tonya and Dana were sitting at the Planet having coffee with Shane when the florist walked in. He handed the flowers to Marina and she said she would pass them on.
Dana, these are for you. Marina said handing the flowers to Dana.
Oh who are they from? Dana asked.
I dont know, I didnt read the card. Marina answered.
Dana took the flowers from Marina and read the card, her face goes red when she realizes its from Alice and what this is all about.
