A Love Story

Chapter 4

It was Saturday and Tin was coming over tonight. Bette spent the day cleaning house and getting ready. She went and rented movies, got wine, and chose the food from the take out Thai restaurant she loved.
She dressed carefully wanting to look relaxed. She wore jeans and a t-shirt, and then pulled her hair up loosely.

Tina spent the day trying to keep her mind off of Bette, so she busied herself doing laundry and the other stuff you do on Saturdays. She was looking forward to tonight and hoped Bette was too.
She got ready, put on jeans, t-shirt and sandals. She left her hair down. She didnt want to arrive empty handed so she stopped and got dessert and flowers.

She got to Bettes at 7 on the dot. She nervously knocked on the door. Bette opened the door with that mesmerizing smile.
Tina: Hi.
Bette: Hello, come in.
Tina: I brought dessert, its ice cream. And these are for you. She handed Bette the flowers.
Bette: You didnt have to do that, but thank you, I love ice cream, and I love flowers.
Bette kissed Tina on the cheek. So come in lets put the ice cream away.
Tina followed Bette thru the house to the kitchen.
Tina was looking at Bette walking in front of her and nearly couldnt breathe. She had seen her dressed up at the gallery, and then in the slacks and top she wore to their dinner last night, but now in jeans, and this tight t-shirtbare foot, hair pulled up..my god she was so ***** and hot. Tina stuttered and finally found her voice.
Tina: Bette you look absolutely amazing. Laughing nervously. You should wear jeans more often. Cause they look incredible on you.
Bette: laughing. You are to nice, but thank you. You look pretty damn fine yourself; I love your hair down.
Tina: Thank you. They looked at each other and the tension was hanging. Tina broke the silence. MMM something smells great.
Bette: Well I hope you like Thai food. Thats what in the oven keeping warm.
Tina: I love it.
Bette: Would you like something to drink?
Tina: Just whatever youre having is fine.
Bette: Wine then. Bette poured them each a glass and told Tina to have a seat at the table, while she got the food.
Tina: Let me help.
Bette: Ok, Plates are in that cabinet, she pointed. Tina got plates and found the silverware. While Bette got the food from the oven. They sat the table and were ready to sit and enjoy.
Bette: Tina do you mind if I get something out of the way first?
Tina: No not all
Bette leaned in and kissed Tina lightly.
Bette: I just needed to get that out of the way, so we can relax.
Tina smiled and took Bettes hand and pulled her close and gave her a real kiss this time, full and spine tingling.
They broke the kiss.
Bette: Wow. That was nice.
Tina: Yes, very nice.
Bette: Well we better eat; I mean I went to all the trouble of ordering it and all. They laughed.

After dinner Bette stood to clear the table and Tina helped her. Finished clearing Bette took Tinas hand and led her to the living room.
Bette: Ok I didnt know what kind of movies you liked so I got a couple to choose from. You decide. I have Austin Powers for the silliness in us and I got Sleepless in Seattle for the romantic in us, and last but not least I got this James Bond one for the action in us.
Tina: laughing. Well I like them all.
Bette: well you choose, Ill get us a glass of wine while you decide.
Bette cam back with the wine and handed a glass to Tina.
Bette: So what have you decided?
Tina: Well I love Sleepless in Seattle, lets watch that one.
Bette: Good choice, its one of my favorites.
She took the movie and put it in the player.
Bette: Get comfy, kick off your shoes and relax. I want you to be comfortable here.
Tina: Thanks but I am very comfortable here

Bette settled beside Tina they both leaned back against the sofa. They were close but not touching. The movie started and they were laughing and enjoying it. Tina put her hand on Bettes thigh as they were laughing not on purpose but when she found what she had done, she didnt take it off. She looked at Bette and Bette covered Tinas hand with her own. They sat like that for a while, then Tina slowly started leaning into Bettes shoulder.
Bette: Here lets get more comfortable. She pushed herself into the corner of the sofa; she patted the space in front of her
Bette: Come here Tina.

Tina moved to her and as she sat Bettes legs went around both sides of her. Slowly Tina was nestled with her back against Bettes chest.
Bette: Relax Tina and lean back, its ok. She put her hands on Tinas shoulder and pulled her to her gently.
Tina leaned back and rested her hands on Bettes thighs
Tina: This is nice.

Tina relaxed and settled back. Bette could smell her hair. She breathed it in, close her eyes. She thought this was the best smell. Bette felt so comfy with Tina, she let herself relax and one hand covered one of Tinas. Tina slowly started moving her fingers over Bettes and her thighs.
Bette put her face closer to Tinas hair; she took her hand and moved it to the side. She placed a kiss on Tinas neck. Tina let her and tilted her head so Bette could make better contact. A small moan escaped her lips. Bettes thoughts were running thru her head. She thought nothing had ever felt this right, she tasted so sweet, and the smell so great.
Bette was now placing small deliberate kisses along her neck and shoulder.

Tina turned to her to catch her face and she brought her lips to Bette. The kisses they had shared had been good but this was incredible. Tina parted Bettes lips with her tongue, gently probing as if asking permission to delve inside. Bette let her, she welcomed her in fact as their tongues met and tasted one another tentatively.

They positioned themselves while kissing to get more comfortable and accessible. Tina was now lying underneath Bette. The movie forgotten. Lost in each other. As their kisses were getting more passionate their hands were exploring. Tinas hands moving up and down Bettes sides and back. Finding her waist she slipped her hand just under the short t-shirt to feel her smooth skin. O god she moaned as she feels the heat from Bettes skin and her hand meeting. Bettes hands are on Tinas sides and move up to under her shirt toward hers covered *****.

Bettes mouth is now on Tinas jaw and down her neck, nibbling, kissing, and searing Tinas skin. Her hand feels the satin of the bra limiting her total access. Tina pulls Bettes mouth to her again to have more of her delicious lips. The lips that will from this night on will make her go weak and the lips she will crave the rest of her life.

Bette breaks the kiss suddenly and lays her head on Tinas shoulder. She removes her hand from under Tinas shirt and she sighs.

Tina: Whats wrong?
Bette: Nothing, absolutely nothing. She rises up and looks into Tinas eyes.
I think we should stop, before we cant.
Tina: Mm, Im sure youre right Bette. Ive never..Ive never
Been with a woman intimately.
Bette: Its ok Tina, Ill wait, this was so good I got carried away. It just feels right, do you feel that way?
Tina: yes, I just want us to take our time.
Bette: me too, I want it to be perfect for you.

Tina sat up. Bette looks at her and takes her hand.
Bette: I think youre wonderful, and Im willing to wait, take time and enjoy each other.
Tina: You are so amazing, thank you for being patient… I better get going.

Tina stood to go, she suddenly felt light headed and stumbled, catching herself.
Bette: Whoa, you ok?
Tina: Mm too much wine maybe
Bette: Tina why dont you stay here for the night. Ill behave I promise. Smiling at her.
Tina: Are you sure I can call a cab.
Bette: No I insist, Ill get you something to change into and we can get some sleep.

Bette got her some shorts and a tshirt then went and showed her to her bedroom
Bette: You sleep here Ill take the couch.
Tina: No I cant kick you out of your bed. Im sure we can share the bed and we will both be good. laughing.

So Bette changed and got into bed with Tina.

She pulled Tina to her and they lay together lost in thoughts of each other.

They fell asleep holding each other and dreaming of the future.
A new love and a new life.
