Chapter 14


Tina was in the kitchen, her hands resting on the kitchen table. It took only seconds to devour the leftovers from Alices last nights cooking. That is if you can call what she made cooking. Mac and cheese was hardly Tinas cup of tea. Basically with the pregnancy going on she ate everything she laid her eyes on. Adding Bar-B-Q sauce to the already not so gourmet meal.

I would give my right hand to be thin again and a kidney if thats what it takes. God, someone please put me out of my misery and deliver this baby already.
She was tired, swollen, emotional and very, very horny. It has been almost nine months since she made love to anyone and her hormonal state was not making it any easier. Her body, so swollen and super-sized needed another persons touch.
Damn it! What was I thinking rejecting Theresa for all those months. I should have just gone for it and had ***** with her weeks ago.. I wonder.hmmm is she a good lover? No doubt about ityou can see it by the way she walks.

But still, can I be with her and not think of Bette. Hmmm Bette, in the blink of an eye, Tinas thoughts led her to Bette her body ,her smile, her hands.
Oh, those hands! The things she used to do to me with those hands .
And her tongue. Oh, lets not even go there. WOW!!! What a tongue.

Tinas mouth, slightly opened to the thought of Bettes sensual body parts. Soft mocha skin, gentle hands and of course her slippery tongue.

Tina leaned a little more into the chair and continued her daydream. Picturing Bettes back as she was taking a morning shower.
Tina sneaking up behind her to have her way with her and start the morning on the right track before leaving for work.
Arguing it saves time and water, showering together. Only to find themselves an hour late for work panting and giggling, water all over the place. Making their way out of the shower and back into bed for another 15 minutes of make-out session.
You know if you are already late, a few minutes wont make a difference.

Tinas breathing became heavy, her eyes gazing into nothingthe thought of Bettes naked body on top of hers excited her.
Not a fraction of anger entered her mind in those few minutes of daydreaming of her former lover and best friend.
She reluctantly came out of her thoughts when she heard the doorbell ring. She slowly got up to open the door expecting to find Alice there which she usually did at this time.
Forgot your keys again? she said playfully as she opened the door. Oh, she was surprised to see that it wasnt Alice I thought you were Alice she said to the smiling Kit, who was standing outside the apartment wearing a gorgeous red Versace suit. My, my, said Tina, if it isnt Little Red Riding Hood.

Kit opened her arms and gave Tina a big hug. Trying not to squeeze her too much as her belly was humongous.
I have missed you so much Goldilocks, said Kit and held Tinas face in her hands. Then she touched her belly and was surprised by the warm feeling that ran through her heart.
This child insidewas somehow still part of her hopes and dreams for Bette and Tinas future.
I have missed you too Kit, said Tina. Her eyes filled with love. It is so good to see you. You look amazing.
Kit walked into the living room and sat on the couch with Tina.
I feel amazing, she said excitedly. I felt better today than Ive ever felt in my entire life. I have some good news to share with you.

Tina was happy to see Kit and curious. She couldnt wait to hear what Kit had to say.
Tina: Good news really, what is it? Come on share. Are you in love or something?
No, Kit continued, nothing like that. I got the money from the Snoop Dog gig and I made a very serious business decision.
She paused and looked at Tina again. Smiling a big ear to ear smile.
I BOUGHT THE PLANET!!! she screamed with excitement.
Tina was shocked. It took her a moment to fully understand what Kit was saying. Then she let out a scream that echoed across the house. WoooooHoooo!!!
What??!! Where??!! When??!! How??!!! Good for you, Wow! Fantastic!

They were both holding each others hands and screaming at the same time. Wonderful! Tina said after she stopped screaming.
I am so proud of you. You deserve it. Tell me all about it. When did you decide to go for it?

Kit started telling her the chain of events that led her to buying The Planet and becoming the new owner of one of the most popular, Caf/Bar/Club in West Hollywood.

Tina sat there listening to Kits enthusiastic tone, feeling every bit of excitement with her.

Thats it, Kit finished. The Grand Opening, under my management is the day after tomorrow. I am so excited. This will be the biggest event of the year.

Kit squeezed Tinas hand and said AND YOU HAVE TO BE THERE.

Of course Ill be there. Tina was overjoyed. This is your big night. Nothing can keep me away.
She paused for a second, realizing its not as simple as she thought. After all, the only person shes been trying to avoid will certainly be there. And the way she looked and felt now was hardly the perfect situation she imagined seeing Bette again.
Especially after that overwhelming encounter at the park. When she almost gave up and beg Bette to take her back.

Kit noticed the change in Tinas facial expression and thought she should make a quick getaway before Tina changes her mind.
Kit: Great see you there Friday. Ill call Alice with the details. Love you got to go. So many things to do.

Tina: But Kit, listen, I dont know.

Kit: No buts, be there. Love you.

She kissed Tina on the cheek and ran out the door like she was running for her life. Bette and her favors, she thought. This is the last time I am playing matchmaker for her. She owes me big time.

Tina was left in the apartment with her thoughts. She didnt think she could go through with it. Can she see Bette again? She knew she wasnt that strong anyway.not for that kind of a meeting. Sweaty people, loud musica dance floor full of memoriesNOImpossible.
It took her the whole day and night to build up enough strength to decide it would be something she can do. Ill just go there for an hour. show support,smile, and come back here. Thats all. Simple and short, thats all.. I can do it. I can do it. Oh my God.what am I going to wear?


Kit walked into her apartment to find Bette standing on the balcony, biting her nails.
Bette: Well, how did it gois she coming?
Kit gave a nonchalant smile. Shell be there, but I cant promise shell fall for you. Tina is not stupid, you know?

Bette jumped on her sister covering her face with kisses. I love you, I love you.thank you. I am going to name my seventh daughter after you.
Kit laughed to the I image of her sisters declarationwhy seventh?

Bette held Kit as tight as she could and laughed I plan to have at least a dozen with Tina.seven is a good number.
Kit shook her head and let out a sigh. Whatever you do, baby sister, always remember to take things slow. You dont want to scare her now do you?

Bette relaxed a little and said, I wont, I promiseI will never be the ***** I used to be and thats a promise I intend to keep.
