Feeling a light weight on her stomach Bette opened her eyes to the early sun rays. Looking to the right she saw a peacefully sleeping Tina at her side. Sighing, with the warmest feeling running through her body she closed her eyes again, thinking;
God am in trouble! the though drawing an even bigger smile on her face. Hugging Tina tighter Bette thought about how good it felt feeling Tina so close. How could this be happening? Why do it feels so good? so many questions, so many feelings.

What was surprising Bette even more was to realize that she was eager to find out all the answers, that she wasnt feeling the urge to run away, to leave now that the new day was there, that the night was over, when the spell was usually gone.

Opening her eyes again she found a sleepy Tina looking at her.

Hi Tina mumbled, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

Hi whispered Bette, her heart light and dancing.

I guess we fall asleep Tina added, sitting straight on the cold couch, missing Bettes warmth instantly.

Shh, come here Bette whispered, not letting Tina move.

Blushing a little, Tina gave in. Proudly smiling, Bette said,

How are you feeling? The words caressing Tinas fears as Bettes fingers were caressing Tinas bare arm.

I Im okyou? asked Tina, noticing the easy look on Bettes face.

I guess am not use to wake up hugging anybody Tina added, explaining heself, making her blush even more obvious.

Nodding, Bette hugged Tina even harder.

I guess by your silence you are use to wake up like this Tina whispered, half teasing, half curious and a little bit not sure what.

Blushing a little now, Bette looked away from Tinas stare, not wanting to get in that topic yet. Noticing Bettes awkwardness Tina smiled, whispering,

Is ok Bette, I never thought Id be the first this time Tinas words teasing, trying to draw back the smile on Bettes face.

IIve woken up like this a few times before Bette whispered, caressing Tinas arm.

Smiling, loving the shy look on Bettes face, Tina asked,

Candance maybe?

Hearing the name turned Bettes face back to Tinas.

Among others but by this time Im usually out of the room Bette added, not knowing why she was telling Tina so much but needing to.

What do you mean? whispered Tina, guessing what Bette was going to say but wanting to hear her saying it.

“I dont like idle conversations early in the morning Bette answered, looking Tina in the eyes.

“Not till today she added, her heart melting by the shy smile growing on Tinas face.

“What about you? asked Bette trying to move on, feeling vulnerable by her sincere words.

I like idle conversations nodded Tina, smiling at Bette.

Oh was all Bette was able to say, taken by surprised.

But am not use to wake up with anybody added Tina, shyly looking away from Bettes stare.

What you mean? asked Bette not only curious but feeling her stomach knotting.

Ive been a nun Tina whispered.

What? asked Bette, astonished.

Laughing, looking back at Bette, Tina shook her head, saying.

No, not a nun, Nun I meanII havent seenor slept with that many people over the years Tina added, looking Bette in the eyes, saying what the words were not telling.

Oh, okright mumbled Bette, thinking, trying to imagine…feeling her body shivering by Tinas heady presence.

Reading Bettes thoughts, Tina playfully asked,

Hearing Tinas question Bette looked at her again, hating the moment but not wanting to lie to her.

Hearing Bettes babbling, Tina laughed sitting straight on the couch, looking at her.

Ohwowthat many?…wow stud status you have? Tina said, teasing Bette with her tone.

“No, nothats Shaneam justI well speechless again, a blushing Bette looked away from Tina, unsure of what to say to explain herself.

“Is ok Bette Tina said, unable to stop her hand that was on Bettes tight, needing to feel Bette close to reassure her.

Looking at Tina, loving the look on her face, knowing that she understood, that she didnt need the answers because she knew them, Bette smiled again, taking Tinas hand in hers.

Do you want to have this conversation now Bettes words as a promise, a sincere an open offer.

No Tina said, smiling.

Is too soon, dont you think? She added, feeling insecure, everything so new, so exciting so scaring.

Noticing the hidden fear in Tinas words, Bette moved closer and caressing her hand, she added,

I want to tell you nowId love you to know everything but but I want to spend some time with you before you know some of those things Bette said scared, not knowing why she was saying so much with so few words, why she was so scared.

What do you mean? asked Tina.

You might not like me Bette whispered, trying to smile at her words.

Oh, dont worryam sure there will be a few things I wont like but those will be part of you and because of those am pretty sure there are many more that are wonderful and that I will love

Oh, I hope so Shyly added Bette, hoping for it to be true.

Bette, lets go one step at a time ok Tina said, taking Bettes face, turning it to hers.

Ok Bette mumbled, loving Tinas touch.

Good mmm Tina mumbled, unable to stop herself, taking Bettes face in her hands, leaning forward, placing her lips on Bettes, needing to kiss her.

Bette smiled under Tinas lips, loving the moment, surprised by Tinas easiness with her feelings.

I I hate to but I have to go now Bette said once Tina moved apart.

I..I have to go home and then to work she added, truly hating the fact that she had a job to attend.

Chuckling, Tina nodded.

What? Bette asked, not only curious but a bit bother by Tinas chuckles.

Nothing, I just remember When Harry met Sally answered Tina shaking her head.

What? Why? Asked a confused Bette, watching Tina standing up.
