DING DONG

Bette opened the door and smiled at Alice and Dana as they entered and followed her into the backyard for a BBQ. It was a warm Sunday afternoon and Tina had promised Liz that they would have a day in the pool with everyone over. Kit was already there along with Jenny and Marina and a few other friends and Liz was having a grand ole time.

Aunty Dana! Aunty Alice!

Liz beamed as she ran over and gave her aunties a big hug. Dana smiled at Alice as she bent down and swooped Liz up into a big hug. Alice laughed as Liz squealed with delight when she swung her around by her arms. Shes gonna be a great mother someday, thought Tina as she watched the interaction between her daughter and her friends. Alice put Liz down who immediately put her arms back up.

Alice picked Liz up by her arms again and proceeded to swing her around as she followed Tina and Dana into the backyard. It was a warm day and everyone was in their swimwear, minus Tina of course, and Shane was at the grill taking care of some steaks and chicken. Dana went and sat with Bette and Kit while Alice and Liz continued their game of swing-Liz-all-around. Shane grinned at Alice and Liz and Tina and Marina went inside to get more food. The weather was good, the company was good, and soon a few people were in the pool while others opted to just lay out and tan. Alice and Dana played around in the pool for a while before getting out and toweling off so they could get some sun also when Alice remembered something.

Hey kid come here

Liz came bouncing over to Alice sporting her new bikini and Alice laughed as Liz hopped around trying to see what Alice had in her hand.

Ahh

Liz jumped a little at the sound of the popper hitting the ground. Alice had a box of those little rock popper things that you throw on the ground to make noise. Liz watched with an intrigued look on her face as Alice showed her how to throw them and make noise. Then she showed Liz how to make Dana scared by running after her and throwing them at her feet.

Hey be careful guys

Tina scolded the big kids who had guilty looks on their faces while Liz found all this hilarious and grabbed a huge handful and threw them as hard as she could on the ground. She waited. Nothing happened. Liz looked at Alice with a sad face since none of her poppers made noise. Alice laughed and picked one up and showed Liz that she had to throw it hard and Liz picked one up and threw it with all her might.

POP

Liz beamed at Alice and Dana shook her head thinking, Bettes not gonna be happy about this one, as Liz walked around throwing the poppers on the ground, in the grass, in the pool and of course at all the people there. Some of the girls thought it was funny while others just looked at Liz with scolding faces. Liz came up behind Bette and Kit who were deep in conversation about something and giggled before throwing three as hard as she could on the ground.

POP POP POP

Bette jumped a little at the sound and Liz started laughing hysterically at the sight of her mother being scared. Kit laughed at Bettes response to the poppers and even Tina giggled at seeing Bette startled by her three-year-old daughter. Bette looked at Liz at first but when she saw Alice laughing so hard she nearly fell over, Bette had an idea. She walked over to Alice and smirked at her.

Alice and Bette pretended to square off while Liz just stood there looking at them like they were crazy. Tina, Kit, Dana and even Shane all rolled their eyes at the fake aggression between the two friends. Bette smiled and winked at Alice before picking up Liz and carrying her inside. Tina followed with a curious look on her face and she had no idea what Bette was up to. Bette brought Liz into the kitchen and after digging through a few drawers she found what she was looking for.

She took the water balloons and picked Liz up and sat her on the counter. She filled the water balloons up as full as she could so she knew for sure they would break and showed Liz how to tie them. After they had about five balloons or so she and Liz snuck back outside and put the water balloons in an unused cooler of ice so that they would cool off. Tina shook her head at Bette and pulled her aside.

Bette winked at Tina who smiled and shook her head again. Alice and Dana had settled down on some lawn chairs and Bette went over and sat down next to them. Dana smiled at Bette but Alice didnt notice since she was fast asleep. Bette leaned over to Dana and whispered her plan to Dana who stifled a giggle and got up and followed Bette into the house leaving Alice a sitting duck. Bette went and grabbed Liz and together they got a balloon out of the cooler, which was now ice cold. Bette walked Liz over to Alice and counted to three before helping Liz drop the balloon on Alice. The balloon broke and the ice-cold water rudely awaked Alice.

HOLY *****

Bette doubled over in laughter so hard she almost fell into the pool and Liz was laughing right along with her. Alice jumped up and stared down at the two of them with her hands on her hips. Bette had to wipe the tears out of her eyes and she looked up at Alice with a smug smile.

Aww youre all wet.

Liz and Bette continued to roll around laughing while Alice stormed towards the house. Bette had left the cover of the cooler open and when Alice saw it she felt the evil look return to her eye. She picked a nice big plump one up and walked towards Bette.

Alice nailed Bette with the balloon so hard she fell backwards into the pool and Liz started busting up laughing again. Apparently Liz was getting quite a kick out of seeing her mommy and aunty go at it. Dana went to rescue Liz so that she wouldnt get tangled up in the fighting and accidentally fall into the pool, and Bette was spraying water at Alice while Alice threw the rest of the balloons at her. Everyone at the BBQ had seen what happened and soon there was an all out water fight brewing at the Porter-Kennard residence. Tina and Liz were inside since Liz had to use the potty and when they came back out Liz squealed with delight and ran over to Dana to join in the fun. Tina watched with a sigh as everyone was flinging water, ice, and even food at one another in this massive battle.

Just then Tina noticed Bette getting out of the water and suddenly she felt a warm buzz all over her body. Damn must be the hormones, thought Tina as she watched her wife peel off her tank top and shorts that were now drenched leaving her only in her black bikini. Tina smiled at Bette and motioned for her to come here now, and Bette did her best to dodge the onslaught and eventually made her way over to Tina.

Tina wrapped her arms around Bettes neck and leaned in for one of the most passionate kisses that Bette had ever experienced in her life. She pulled back a little stunned at Tinas kiss but she regained her composure and smiled as she leaned in for another kiss.

SPLASH

LIZ!!!

Alice was standing there holding Liz who was holding the hose that was on full blast pointed directly at Bette and Tina. Dana looked at them helplessly as she was an innocent bystander in all this who got dragged into the game, and Liz proudly squirted her two mommies promptly interrupting their intimate moment.

Bette took off after Alice who put Liz down and ran for her life while Tina picked up Liz and the two of them turned to face Dana. Dana smiled at them innocently while she turned the water off and backed away slowly hoping that Tina would have mercy on her. Bette pulled Alice back over to where the other three were and Bette, Tina and Liz squared off against Alice and Dana who were trapped against the gate.

FIRE!!!

Shane signaled and within seconds Bette, Tina, Liz, Alice and Dana were being bombarded with ICE COLD water balloons being thrown by Shane and Kit. They were throwing one after another and within seconds all five ladies were covered in head to toe with ice cold water and they were all shaking. Shane and Kit beamed at them and gave each other a high five before Shane turned to Bette and Alice and winked as she raised her fist in the air victoriously.
