Bette froze, becuase she knew who Candace Jewell was. She had done some work for Bette at her gallery in LA.

“Oh ***** Tina, I know Candace. She worked in my gallery a few months ago.”

“Yeah well she gets around. Come on Bette lets get back, I want to go and check on the food, and im sure Lauren will be downstairs with the girls by now.”

They walked back up the the house, and Bette was feeling guilty. How had Candace not told her she had a kid. They had become friends only afterwards and sometimes went out together. They hadnt never slept together, but that didnt matter. Candace should of told her.

As they walked up the girls where around the bar with Lauren on top of the bar dancing. They where all cheering her on and making lots of noise.

“Seems as thought they are getting along. Come on Bette lets join them.”

The rest of the evening went really well. Tina had made a fabulous dinner, and desert. They had all sat around talking after dinner and then decided to go for a swim. Tina was wearing a 2 piece that kind of looked like Lara Croft. She even had a knife on her leg for a “just in case” situation. Bette decided to wear her bikini so she could show off all her assets to Tina. After there swim Tina built a fire in the pit and they all sat around roasting marshmallows. Tina made one for Lauren and Bette since both of theres fell in the fire. Tina hand fed hers to Bette, which was almost a ***** show for the rest of them to watch. Luckly Lauren had allready fallen asleep next to Alice. She invited them all to stay the night since it was getting late.

“I have a nanny that comes in and takes care of Lauren while im at work. You guys can sleep in and leave tomorrow. I have several extra rooms.” Tina hoped and prayed that Bette would want to stay the night with her. They didnt have enough along time tonight and Tina was so full of questions.

“Well sure um we have had a lot to drink, We dont mind do we Bette.” Alice knew what was on Bette’s mind. She definatly wanted to stay the night with Tina.

“Its settled then, I’ll go and put Lauren down, and I will show you to your rooms.” Tina led them all to seperate rooms where they each had a king size bed to sleep on. Tina put Bette next to her room

“There you go Bette right next to my room. If you need anything I will be just next door. Im sorry I have to go to work tomorrow, but maybe i can drive into town tomorrow night and have dinner with you. I mean if you want to. “

“Of course I want to. I want to know everything about you, see i even made a list. “

“Ok let me see, I grew up in North Carolina, I went to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, and I’ve been to Italy, Spain, Japan, and many other places. Come in my room I want to show you something.” Tina brought Bette into her room. She had large glass doors that opened out onto the patio. You could smell the ocean and hear the waves crashing on the beach below. Tina brought out a photo album of pictures she wanted to show Bette. They both sat on the bed, and Tina began to show Bette the pictures from when Tina was born, to her graduation, and to her daughter being born.

“Wow that was lovely Tina. Its like you have every chapter in your life on film. Lauren was so cute when she was born.”

“Yeah she was. She is the best thing that has happened to me. I hate leaving her everytime i have to go, but i always try to call her as much as possible.” Tina smiled at Bette. She enjoyed being with Bette, and even though they hadnt know each other very long she allready felt a strong connection to her.

“Wow look at the time Bette, I had better get to bed. I have to go in early. Um i know this is a little forward, but would you mind sleeping in here with me tonight. I know we have only know each other for a little while Bette, but i have this strong feeling that i am going to be happy to have you in my life. Im not asking for anything serious right now, but i would love for that to happen.”

Bette thought she was going to die. Tina had totally read her mind. She was picturing them together in the future with Lauren so happy. She would do anything to make this happen.

“I’d love to sleep in here with you tonight. I have to warn you though i may grab ahold of you in the middle of the night”

“Im counting on it” Tina gave Bette a shirt that said Navy on it, and some pants. They snuggled close, and quickly fell asleep. Just like Bette had predicted in the middle of the night she wrapped her arm around Tina and pulled her close. She wispered soflty in her ear:

“I think im falling in love with you.” Not knowing Tina was awake Bette fell asleep, but Tina whispered back “i know the same is happening with me.”

Early the next morning Bette felt Tina pull away from her. It was early maybe 6 and still dark outside.

“Hey Bette. I didnt mean to wake you up.”

“Thats ok, i wanted to get up.”

“Well if you stay awake and watch the sun rise its breath taking. Im going to go get ready and say goodbye to Lauren. Lilo will be downstairs if you need anything. I wrote my cell number and put it next to the bed. Call me when you leave, and we can make plans for tonight.” Tina disapeared into her bathroom, and Bette stayed awake to watch the sun rise. It was breath taking just like she had said.

Bette got up where all the girls including Lauren where eating a huge breakfast prepared by Lilo. After they ate they said there goodbye’s to Lauren and drove back to there hotel.

“So Porter did you put the moves on her last night or what.?” Alice was just dying to know if Navy girls where easy. Maybe she could write a top ten list on how to get a navy girl into bed.

“No Alice we just talked for a while, and then went to sleep., Oh but i found this out. You’ll never guess who her ex is. !”

“Um we dont know man, who is it?”

“Candace Jewell. The carpenter that did all that work on my gallery. You know she went out with us a few times.” All the girls where shocked when they heard the story on how Canadace had left Tina after the baby was born. “

“You didnt sleep with her right?” That was Dana. Always looking out for everyone’s feelings.

“No Dana, thank god for that. But I dont want to have anything to do with her again.”

They arrived at the hotel and decided they where all going to go shopping today. Everyone knew Bette had plans with Tina so they wanted to find something ***** for her to wear.

After a few hours of shopping Bette had finally found a formfitting black dress in a little store. Everyone agreed this dress was super *****, and that Bette would have no problem with getting Tina to do whatever she wanted. They all decided to stop for lunch when Bette pointed someone out to them.

“Oh no what is she doing here?”
