    The morning after the season finale.

    She sat there. Staring blankly into the space surrounding her

    Blank. She couldnt think. She could only sit. And stare.

    It was over. After 7 years. Over.

    What have I done? What have I done?

    Bette looked at the ring she held on her palm and then over to the picture of the one woman she truly loved. Her head dropped down to her hands. Im a ***** idiot. Why did I let this happen? I love her so much. This cant be happening. Its all my fault. How did I let things get this bad? What am I going to do? The ring she held in her palm now slipped through her fingers and fell to the floor followed closely by a single tear drop.

    She held a friend closely. Poor girl. I cant believe this is happening. They seemed so perfect. Alice glanced down at Tina who just lay there. Eyes shut but tears flowing. Why the ***** did Bette do it? Is she an idiot? Doesnt she remember how hard she tried to have this girl love her? And now shes throwing it away. Just like that. For a *****.

    Im sorry Al.

    Alices thoughts were interrupted by Tinas voice. She hadnt said anything all night. She just let Alice hold her. There was nothing to say.

    What? No, dont Tina. You have nothing to apologise for.

    I love you Tina. Im here for you okay. Just close your eyes hun. Try get some rest.

    Tina closed her eyes but all she saw was Bette at the CAC – touching Candaces arm. Would the tears ever stop.

    Danas head rested on her pillow. She hadnt slept a wink last night. She looked over to Tonya, fast asleep, with one arm draped across Danas stomach.

    What have I gotten myself into?

    Shane pulled up at The Planet. Im such an idiot. I dont do relationships. What the ***** was I thinking. Shes not stupid. As if she would ever leave her life for me – a nobody. *****. I was delusional. *****.

    She got out of her truck and walked towards the entrance, hoping to find her friends inside.
