Disappointment swept through Bette. Where is she?

Bette? You okay? You sound a bit dazed man. Whats wrong?

Shane had just arrived at the planet and found that none of the gang was there. Her first thought was to ring Bette and Tina and find out how things went the night before. The sound of Bettes voice sent chills up her back. She had never heard Bette sound like anything other than Bette – Strong, Confident and Witty. The voice she heard now was broken. It was almost as though Shane could feel Bettes pain by hearing the sadness in voice.

Whats wrong? Bette, wheres Tina?

Tina The sound of her name bought a tear to Bettes eyes and she knew that her tears were about to become uncontrollable. No, I am stronger than this. This was her mess and she was going to deal with it herself. No one else can help me.

Silence. She had hung up. What the *****? Shane sat there stunned, in silence. What just happened?

Alice slowly lay Tinas head on a cushion, careful not to wake her up. She looked at Tina lying on the couch and sighed. I cant believe this is happening. She shook her head and walked into her bedroom. I need to clear my head. Things are way too fucked up right now. She lay down and closed her eyes. Whats going to happen?

Her thoughts were interrupted by her ringing cell phone. She looked over.

Not now Shane. I cant talk to anyone now. She waited until it rang out and switched it off. Ill call her later. It had been a long night and she knew the days ahead were bound to be even longer. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Dana had pretended to be asleep when Tonya woke up. She had waited to hear the shower running before she had even opened her eyes. What am I going to do now? I need to find Alice. We need to talk.

The shower wasnt running anymore. She got out of bed and stretched just as Tonya walked in wearing her bathrobe.

Morning babe. Tonya gave Dana a light peck.

Morning Danas mind was elsewhere as she mumbled a morning to Tonya.

By now, Shane had downed her second Cappuccino and was still surprised that no one else had come in. it was almost noon and not only were they missing, but no one was picking up their phones. Maybe Ill call Dana. Hopefully, shell know whats going on.
