What have I done? Bette looked intently at her hands. These are the hands that have hurt Tina, one way or the other. But these are also the hands that have made her happy all those years; that have showered her with all the love and affection and have held her through all those years. Bette brought her hands to see them closer. Tears dropped and slid down her wrists. She wondered how she managed to drain more water out of herself as shes been doing just that ever since her wife left her. And shes left her for the second time in two days. What am I going to do without you T?

Bette looked at her wedding ring that still sat on her finger. She twisted it as she thought deep about her and Tina. She was the happiest person on earth on the day the ring was placed on her finger. Nothing or no one could come between them; she remembered saying that to Tina on their wedding night. Neither Melvin nor her mother came during the reception, nor did Tinas parents. They were very much disappointed in Tina for breaking it off with Eric for they loved Eric. But knowing that she left Eric for a woman made it worse. Tinas parents wouldnt even see her when she came to visit them, they wouldnt even take her calls. Tina continually begged her parents to see her either she flies out to see them or she pays for their ticket to see her on holidays. But they just wouldnt accept anything from Tina.

Tina has always got along with her family and once Bette gets into the picture, everything shattered. For Bette it was different. Both her parents dont approve of her lifestyle but chose to ignore it without ignoring her. She has always been able to put aside the topic of her sexuality when talking to them and this has worked out fine for both parties. But for Tinas family, it was different. Tina has given up everything to be with Bette. She knew for a fact that no one else can make her as happy, and even her family shouldnt get in her way to achieve that happiness.

Bette has tried to do everything she could to help Tinas family see that the most important thing is seeing her happy even if it was a woman to help her accomplish that. Tina was let down in the beginning when she knew she has been disowned by her family who couldnt accept who she had become but the happiness Bette brought to her life has been overwhelming, making her resent her familys inability to accept her.

Throughout those years together, Bette and Tina have been the trophy couple. They have everything going well; their career, their friends and each other. Friends were envious of them; most want to be and have what they have. Bette and Tina are very well known in their ***** circle; both are very strikingly pretty, they turn heads wherever they go. They love the attention they were getting, those who know them wanted to be seen with them and those who didnt, would want to get to know them.

Things would be different from now on, Bette thought, her head in her hands still crying softly of the huge loss. She knew Tina would come back to her, but its just a matter of time. But when it is, is still a question in Bettes mind. How would she live without her wife beside her? She has been her rock throughout. And how would she even go out without Tina by her side? *****, she thought. What will happen if they couldnt get back together? What if Tina started seeing someone else? How would she handle it?

Bette started to panic. She stood up, paced the room to find answers. She looked at her ring again and again as if to find her answer there. Her crying had stopped and her mind is now working full blast. She needs to figure out a way to stop those things from happening. I cant lose her. I cant. Shes my life, everything to me.

She walked into the bathroom, splashed cold water on her face. She looked up and saw her reflection in the mirror. She sighed, no wonder Alice said I look like *****, I do look it. She brushed her teeth and washed her face, went back into her bedroom to get something to wear. She chose her black track pants and a matching top and headed out of the bedroom.

She scanned the living room and walked towards their CD collection. She took one of their favourites and smiled. This CD always made both of them happy. They danced to it, sang along to it, and even made love to it. It always reminded them of the good times they had. She didnt know what she planned on doing with the CD once she sees Tina. All she knew was that CD would remind Tina of their good time, even for just one second. She didnt even know what she planned on saying to Tina once she sees her. She only wanted to see her, to see if she could somehow mend her broken heart.
