May I sit down please? Kayla asked and Nylan glanced up from her the piece of napkin she was scribbling on to nod a yes to the patron. Kayla sighed and began to talk once again, Look I know we havent seen eye to eye in a lot of ways but I think we both agree on one thing and thats Isaiah.
Nylan touched Kaylas hand gently before speaking, Isaiahs finetrust me. Kayla looked away from the intoxicating look Nylan was giving her; this was going to be harder than she thought.
Im sure he is but hes about to go through some important life changes and Nylan gripped Kaylas hand even tighter and she felt her breath being taken away from her lungs.
I know what youre about to say Nylan said and Kayla stared at her strangely.
You do, she answered.
Yeah and I will not keep you from seeing Isaiahyoure his mother I wouldnt ever keep him from someone he loves as much as youNylan gave Kayla a reassuring smile after delivering her heartfelt message.
No Kayla said firmly and Nylan was taken aback for a moment, thats not what I meanlook Nylan theres something I have to tell and its not easy for me too.
Heres that refill you wanted Lara said handing Nylan the smoothie, their fingers touched briefly and Nylan felt her heart stop. How could just one night have such an effect? Nylans stare lingered a bit, a bit much too long for Kayla who was desperately trying to get Nylans full attention. Kayla rolled her eyes in frustration; it was always her trying to get Nylan to notice her but some other woman got it firstALWAYS.
Im pregnant Kayla voice, boomed making Nylans ears vibrate.
Tina sat straight up on the couch, her shirt drenched and her forehead hot. This had been the third time this week she had been awakened by the same nightmare, the same womans screams and always shadows never faces clouded her mind.
***** she said to herself. Tina was beginning to believe she was going crazy. She got up from the couch and quickly dressed.

What Nylan asked shocked.
Ive been trying to tell you for months now but you would never listenso there were having a baby Kayla shouted catching the attention of Shane who was nearing the table followed by Alice. They approached a table filled with silence; Nylan was rubbing her weary sleep deprived eyes while Kayla just sat watching and waiting for Nylan to speak.
You told her, Shane asked gripping Kaylas shoulder and she nodded.
What Alice asked completely in the dark and not liking it at all.
Shane knows Nylan asked a little agitated.
WhatShane knows what Alice questioned again.
Im pregnant Kayla mumbled running her fingers through her brown mane.
Woo hoocongratulationsyou guys are just making your own little Brady bunch Alice retorted hugging both Kayla and Nylan.
Whats with all the hugging Dana asked from behind the group. Alice felt her knees go weak at the sound of Danas voice and she turned around giving her a friendly smile. They kept up a front for those of their friends who didnt know about the recent break up or whatever that was going on between the two of them.
Hey hey people what are we celebrating Kit yelled.
Kaylas having a baby Alice beamed.
Ahhhhh Kit screamed hugging the expecting parents, another grandbaby for meoh my god Im so happy for you twoIm glad you two are moving on and becoming a family. Nylan shifted in her seat uncomfortably.
UhI gotta go you guys Im having a conference with one of Isaiahs teachers Nylan said getting up from the table.
Okay baby Kit said kissing Nylan on the cheek before she made a beeline to the door only to be stopped by Lara.
Congratulations Lara said happily and Nylan just stared at her before walking out of the door completely.
The Precinct
Im Tina KennardIm looking for Detective Louglin Tina questioned the officer at the desk.
Ms. Kennard Louglin answered from his door, right this way. Tina walked past the desk and into Loughlins office. She sat down in a chair across from the detective.
I think I might know something about Tina began her voice trembling.
The murder Loughlin finished her sentence and Tina nodded.
You see I keep having these dreams and I just have this gut feeling that she began.
It has something to do with the murder, Loughlin said.
I never see faces I just hear screams and I cant remember anything other than going to Ambrosias hotel that Loughlin rose from his seat.
Wait you were there that nightyou said you werent he began.
Yeah I know I need to know what happened after I got there, Tina said now sobbing.
Ms. Kennard you understand that this makes you a suspect Loughlin spoke clearly so Tina would understand him.
But I didnt kill her Tina screamed and Loughlin eyed her suspiciously. For some reason he believed the blonde, he felt it in his gut.
Would you be willing to go under hypnosis Ms. Kennard? he asked.

Wow did I say something wrong Kit asked looking around at the group.
No its okay Kit I think Nylan just a little surprisedshe just found out too ya know Shane said.
Im think I better get home know before Candice starts to worry Kayla said standing up.
Candice who Kit asked and Shane wished she hadnt.
Candice Jewelmy sister Kayla answered and everyones eyes went wide.
The carpenters your sista Kit asked with attitude.
The Precinct
Tina was breathing heavily as the doctor and Detective Loughlin looked on.
Tina who do you seeTina do you see a face Tina nodded, Who is it Tina Tina remained silent, Tina whos face do you see. They waited for the answer for a moment.
Shane Tina whispered.
