George pulled up to the CAC, stopped for a moment and stared at the building, then she quicky parked the car and got out.
As soon as she walked in she was lost. She stopped as she entered and looked around. She noticed a guy standing in the hallway and quickly walked over to him.

George: “Hi, um you look like you work here..Do you work here?” she asked in a hurried voice
James: “Uh yeah, I do. Can I help you with something?” he asked in a confused manor
George: “wonderful, yeah im looking for Bette Porter”
James: “Oh, uh well she is um…in her office..but shes busy.”
George: “im sorry?” she said slightly confused “what..whats going on? Thats her office right there isn’t it? Who’s in there?” she said pushing him out of the way walking towards the door behind him.
James: “Hey you can’t go in there right now….you don’t want to..” he said as he threw up his arms. “Your Tina’s sister aren’t you? Im sorry, she told me not to let anyone go in there.”

George stopped, turned around and looked at him.

Bette was in her office with Candice. After George left her house to find Tina, Bette went strait to Candice looking for that release, but when it was over she felt the worst she could possibly feel. Candice no longer provided that feeling. Bette just knew she had to stop it. She told Candice that their fling was over. It was the worst mistake she had ever made. She continued to tell Candice that they could never be in contact again and asked her to leave. Just as the door opened George turned around and came face to face with her. George felt her blood pressure rise. She continued to stand there just straring right into Candices eyes. Candice not knowing who she was just bowed her head and said “excuse me” George stepped to the side and watched her walk away. When she turned around facing Bettes office she saw her sitting with her elbows on her desk and her hands holding her face. She was crying. George slowly walked in and closed the door behind her. Startled by the door Bette looked up as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

Bette: “What are you doing here George?” she asked exaustedly

George walked over to a chair across from the desk and sat down.

George: “Well I came to see how you were doing. So that was her huh? Why was she here Bette?” she asked, shifting her weight to one side of the chair.
Bette: “I broke it off, I told her what happened……what have I done? She doesn’t want to break it off, she thinks its better this way..” she said shaking her head with anger.
George: “Well, what did you say then?”
Bette: “I told her that I loved Tina and what happened was a huge mistake. She didn’t take it very well…I can’t see her again, it hurts too much..” she said as be began to cry again.
George: “Well…I will watch out for her then. I want to help you Bette” she said as she leaned over and braught her folded hands up to her mouth and rested them under her chin. “This really sucks. I hate watching both of you like this. I want you to know that I wont be taking sides on this. I know you both love eachother. I….I….” she said as she looked around the room as if she was searching for words. Bette looked up at her with tired eyes.
Bette: “Thank you George…im so sorry for all of this….i really am” she said as she trailed off
George: “I should go….I need to check on her” she said as she slowly stood up looking at Bette with the reasurence she needed.
Bette: “ok..” is all she could get out before the tears came back.

Bette sat back in her chair and wiped her face with her hand and stared out the window. George called Alice as soon as she was outside.

Alice: “Hey, where are you?”
George: “I just left the CAC. Where are you guys?” she said as she got into her car.
Alice: “I mannaged to drag Tina to the Planet. Shane was here when we got here. Her and Tina have been talking for a while. She seems to be holding up…kinda”
George: “Candice was here when I got here.”
Alice: “What the *****, what was going on?!” she said loudly almost falling out of here chair then looked around quickly to seen if anyone noticed then retreted into a hiding position.
George: “Well I came to talk to Bette and she was here. She left as I was walking in. Bette said she broke it off and told her that she could never see her again.”
Alice: “Well that’s the first smart thing she has done in a while.”
George: “Yeah well I have a feeling we might see her again. We have to get them back together Alice, they will both be fucked without eachother.”
Alice: “Sounds like a plan man. Let’s do this thang”
George: “ok…im on my way over, let Tina know.”
Alice: “Will do, hurry up.” Alice hung up the phone and walked back over to the table.
Alice: “Your sister is on her way over Tina” she said as she rejoined Tina and a scilent Shane back at their table.
