Bette was standing in her office at her window, looking out over the city.
In her hand, she held 2 pieces of paper…wondering whether to get rid of them before Tina

found her with them or lay them so that Tina would find them. She stood there with tears

falling down her cheeks.”What have I done?” she asked herself aloud.
In the background behind her she heard, “We haven’t done anything yet…till we get out of

here.” said Tina with a snicker…
Bette stood there…stuck to the floor….she held the papers in her hand not wanting to

turn around.
“Bette.” said Tina as she walked closer to her wife…”Are u okay?”
Bette continued to stand there and say nothing until Tina laid her hand on her shoulder..
Tina pulled to turn Bette around and immediatley saw the tears streaming down her face..
“Baby, what’s the matter?” she asked as she wiped the tears away.
Bette still couldn’t say anything..she just handed Tina the paper..
Tina took it and unfolded it to take a look…her mouth dropped open…”Bette, where did you

get this?”
Bette just stood there..”Bette, I said where did you get this at?”
“Someone handed it to me then left…I didn’t even notice who it was except that it was a a

man….”said Bette through the tears…”*****.”said Tina as she looked at the paper again.
“Bette..this is…this is not my writing…I swear that I would never do this to you..”
“T…it is your writing…I know your writing…I just don’t understand why you would be

writin such things……to someone else..”
“Bette…please you have to believe me…I did not write this..”
“Just stop ***** lying Tina…goddammit…just stop..” said Bette as she sobbed louder.
“Bette…” Tina started to say..
“Tina…just read the letter… you didn’t even read the letter but yet you tell me that it

is not yours….how would you know if you didnt read it till the very end?”
“Bette…”
“Read it..” shouted Bette..”Aloud.”
“Ok…ok…” said Tina as she pulled the letter up to see it better
“My dearest Eric” she began…”I miss you when I am not there with you…the other day was

very special to me….I felt the love that we once shared..I felt it when you made love to

me and wrapped your arms around me afterwards….I have so wanted to feel that from you

since I left you for Bette…..” Bette was sobbing…and so was Tina…
“Go on…” said Bette loudly..
Tina looked down to the paper and back up to Bette’s eyes….”Bette….”
“Tina,I said to finish the ***** letter.”
“Ok…Call me when we can get together again…but use my alternate cell number…so that

Bette won’t find out…I couldn’t hurt her like that…much love to you….Tina…”
Tina let her arms fall to her side…”Bette…I am so sorry…”
“No you aren’t…I knew that I could never change a straight girl…but after 7 years and

all that we have shared, I thought I had…I thought you love me…T..”
“Bette, baby, I do love you…’
“Lier…you are a ***** lier….” yelled Bette..”How long have I been made a fool for?

When did this ***** happen?”
“Bette…”
“Shut up…Just ***** shut up….and get the ***** out…I cant even look at you right

now….you have ripped my heart out and tore it apart…just leave…”
“But Bette….I…”
“Get the ***** out I said..” screamed Bette as she turned and looked out the window

again….this time fully sobbing…
“I’m going home…please…just come there so that we can talk..”
“No…I can’t…”said Bette…”Now leave..’
