As Bette opened the door she noticed Tina lying comfortably on the sofa fast asleep. There was no noise in the house so she assumed Rosie must be in the bedroom sleeping as well.

Bette put down her briefcase and tiptoed over to Tina, lent over and kissed her lightly on the lips.

Mmm said Tina stirring, she put her arms up around Bettes neck and pulled her down for a deeper kiss. She wriggled over and patted the sofa next to her Youre home early. Are you going to join me?

Bette smiled I cant believe a little baby has our whole bedroom and the two of us have to share this tiny sofa. I guess I missed that bit in the fine print of the parenthood contract she stretched out next to Tina. Did you have a hard day?

No, it was funjust long Tina said sleepily.

Bette propped herself up on one elbow, leant forward and hovered just over Tinas lips intending to give her a long tender kiss.

Her mobile rang *****, I forgot to turn it off she said. She pulled it out of her pocket and flipped it open, realised Franklin was calling. She put the phone to her ear but didnt bother to sit up; hopefully it would be a quick call.

Franklin said Bette then continued with a straight face Yes, I believe I am in a position where I can talk. She winked at Tina.

Tina stifled a giggle. She was trapped on the sofa until Bette decided to get up but she was fairly sure that Franklin would be horrified if he knew where Bette was. Tina had intended to lie back and let Bette speak but when Bette had winked at her she decided that the rules for business calls had been abandoned. She undid the top three buttons on Bettes shirt while Bette tried to bat her hands away.

She slipped her hand under the shirt and ran it along Bettes ribs.

Umm..yes. I did meet Baz today..hes interesting said Bette.

Tina wriggled down a bit and kissed lightly between Bettes *****.

Bettes voice wavered a bit as she continued her conversation with Franklin uh..Im still reviewing his work..uh..Im not sure hes right for the CAC.

Tina unbuttoned the rest of Bettes shirt and kissed a trail down from Bettes ***** to the top of her pants.

Bette took a quick deep breath and tried to catch Tinas hands, move further away. Uh..sorry ..what was that Franklin..it must be a bad line she said her mind starting to wander.

Tina ran her finger under the waistband of Bettes pants.

Uh.. Im..uh meeting uh with him again uh tomorrow.. Bette said clearly distracted.

Tina smiled, kissed along Bettes waistband.

Uhh..Franklin..can I call you back said Bette breathlessly Tina needs a little help with something. She closed the phone and threw it on the floor.

I need a little help do I? said Tina teasingly, looking up into Bettes flushed face, her liquid brown eyes.

Oh..I think you do.. said Bette. She pulled Tina to her and kissed her hard.
