Thursday morning Tina awakes to find Bette just watching her sleep.

Tina: So I see your feeling better today

Bette: As a matter of fact. Perfect. can I have a kiss

Tina: You know I can never refuse you but no I dont want to get sick.

Bette: But Im better

Tina: I know you feel betterbut your technically still sick so you stay in bed today. take your medicine. drink a lot fluidsand if tonight your still feeling betterwell we will seeas Tina gets out of the bed

Bette: Hey where are you going?

Tina: I have to go to workso Im going to jump into the showerwhere do you think your going

Bette: Tee I really need a shower.you dont want me taking a shower later all by myself and maybe risk falling and breaking something.and since my nurse is going to be taking a showershe could wash my back and anything she wants too

Tina: Okyou can take a showerlets go. Tina runs the waterBette strips and is in waiting for Tina

Tina hands her a washcloth all soaped up.

Bette: What youre not coming in

Tina: you promise to be good

Bette: Pouting.ok I promise

Tina strips and joins Bette they immediately start to wash each other like they have been doing for what seems like forevereach doing the others hair and then the others backthen they rinsed off and dried off and went back into the bedroom

Bette: See I was a good girl.

Tina: Yes you were and Im proud of youas she takes Bette into her arms and hugs her

Bette: Im sick remember.cough cough

Tina: I can see your feeling better Bette the smart ***** is back

Bette: I thought you liked my *****

Tina: Starting to get dressed.I love your *****.smilingbecause its all mine and dont you forget that

Tina: Here get some clothes on so you dont get a chill and put your robe on You need to eat some breakfast

Bette: I dont suppose I could have a cup of coffee

Tina: I wouldnt babe. not todaymaybe tomorrowbut you could have a cup a tea

Bette: Ok can I get you one?

Tina: No babe I really need coffeesorryso Ill stop and get breakfast but you should only have tea and toastI made chicken soup yesterday

Tina: Yeah. so later try a little. with some saltinesyou should be able to keep it down

Tina: Goodleaning down and kissing her on the forehead. And dont forget to keep taking your medicine and drink and restI Love you

Tina walks in and gets her coffee and breakfast and walks over to the tablesitting down looking totally exhausted

Alice: I thought you said Bette was sick

Tina: She iswhy

Alice: Because you look like *****

Bette was just finishing up her tea.just thinking to her selfhow did I get so lucky finding Tina.Never in my life has anybody even taken care of me like her.I was a lousy patient and she still took care of me.She cooked and cleaned and did all of the laundry .and all I did was give her a hard time.damn Porter.well they say you never stop learning so Tina Baby I promise to listen and do everything you told me to do todaychecking the time next dose of medicine is in 3 hoursok setting a clock to go off in 3 hours.there and getting a blanket and curling up on the couch .turning the TV on .My nurse said rest and thats what Im going to do.

10:30Tina takes a quick break and calls Bette

Bette: (picking up the phone) Hello my ***** nurse

Tina: So I see your still feeling better

Bette: Yes baby your patient is feeling much better. thanks to the care I received I have to remember the agency you came from so if I ever need your services again

Tina: Ill be sure to leave my card. What time is your next dose of medicine due?

Bette: In about 45 minutes I have the alarm set so I dont forget or fall asleep.

Tina: OHHHHWOW you are being a good girl

Bette: Well yeah I want my reward tonight

Tina: Well well see about that As long as youre still feeling better

Bette: Another thingI was thinking I should take tomorrow off also. I dont want to push myself and get sick again So work will have to wait for me till Monday

Tina: Oh My God My baby is growing up Finally listening and taking care of herself I am very impressed

Bette: I never had anybody who cared for me before like you do I like that feeling I like the feeling of being loved I love being in love with you Thank you for loving me

Tina: Babe you are going to make me cry I love you so much And I loved taking care of my baby

Bette: Even though she was a pain in the *****
