Tina snapped out of her trance at the sound of Alices voice.

Oh my god! Alice!

She jumped off the bed and knelt beside Alice.

Im so sorry. Are you okay?

Alice nodded and helped herself up before pulling Tina up.

Seriously Tina, what just happed? I came home and you were sound asleep. Five minutes later youre screaming and crying in your sleep. Are you okay?

Tina looked sad. Her dream had seemed so real. She seemed lost and felt as though the most precious part of her life was gone.

Bad dream Al. Just a bad dream.

Tina just shook her head and walked into the bathroom to wash her face. Alice sat on the bed, just watching Tina as she walked back into the bedroom and sat beside Alice.

I told her Alice. Its over. Its too painful to even try.

A single tear rolled down Alices cheek. She could not help herself, she had honestly thought that Bette and Tina had a love beyond everyone else, a love that could face anything.

Im so sorry Tina.

She just sat there stunned. Tina got up, walked around to the other side of the bed and climbed under the covers. Alice didnt move.

Me too Al, me too.

With that she pulled the covers over her head and closed her eyes. It had been a long day.

Shane tossed and turned; she had lay in bed for hours now and wasnt even close to falling asleep. She sat up, turned on the light and looked at the bed side clock.

Four ***** hours. Man, Im loosing it.

She switched off the light and lay down again.

Sleep. I gotta sleep.

She stared into the darkness for another ten minutes before realizing that it was pointless and sleep just wouldnt come.

She sat up and switched on the light again before running her hands through her hair.

Who the ***** am I kidding?

She got up, got dressed and shut the door behind her as she left her apartment.

The night was young and Shane McCutcheon intended on enjoying every second of it.

Bette practically crawled into the living room and reached over for the phone, knocking over a crystal vase. She moved closer to get the phone, cutting her knees on the shattered glass.

She winced at the pain but made no attempt to get up. Instead she dialed Kits number, she needed her sister but she wasnt there.

Bette couldnt handle being alone. She dialed another number.

Hello?

The voice on the other end sounded dazed like she had just woken up.

Hello?

Bette hung up. She didnt love Candace Jewell. Right now she needed to feel loved. She needed to be home and right now the house she was in didnt feel like home.

Bette picked up the phone and undecidedly dialed one last number.

Bette was totally exhausted. She let out a sob.

Elizabeth? Are you there? Whats wrong?

Dana couldnt handle it anymore. From the time Alice had left, all Tonya had done was go on about the wedding. Once Tonya suggested the white corporate wedding sponsored by Smirnoff and Subaru Dana hit the roof.

She just got up, paid the bill and walked out of The Planet. She had gotten home and was about to get into bed when Tonya cam home and started rambling on again. At first Tonya was understanding as to why Dana didnt like the idea of a Smirnoff and Subaru wedding and why she left The Planet but, Tonya didnt stop at that. She waited till Dana had gotten into bed and then started with the wedding plans again. Dana reached her limit.

Shut up!

Even Dana was surprised at how she acted. She just screamed in frustration before telling Tonya that she cant handle a wedding right now. She grabbed some clothes and keys, mumbled a sorry and left the house.

Now Dana stood outside Alices apartment door, confused by what she was doing there. She lifted her arm to knock on the door.
