Tina went home and changed before going by a thai resturaunt for dinner…she

pulled out of the driveway after getting her and Bette’s dinner and stopped at the

red light….fumbling with her phone to call Bette and let her know that she was

on her way….The light turned green and Tina pushed on the gas to go…just then

she heard a loud screeching, and she looked to her left….”Oh God…” she

hollered aloud as she put her hands up in front of her face….


Bette had been at her gallery for over an hour painting and cleaning….she had

lost track of time….she looked at her watch….8:00…’damn..where is Tina? She

said she was coming here after changing and getting food…’ Just then, Bette

realized that she had left her phone in the car…’*****’ she said as she ran

outside to get it…there were 5 missed calls on it….Bette checked

them..*****..what is this number?’ and as she started to call the number…her cell

rang….
“Hello?”
“Bette Porter?” the voice on the other end said…”Is this Bette Porter?”
“Yes..yes it is…”
“You are listed as the next of kin, for a Miss Tina Kennard…”
“Yes..I am..” said Bette lowly..
“Um..mam..I am sorry to tell you this, but there has been an accident involving

Miss Kennard..and we need you to come down to Cedars and……..”
