Friday came and Bette had been working hard at the gallery all day, Tina had helped her get through the hard parts, and she was finally close to the time of opening.The last step was to have her favorite photographer booked into the hotel, and flown thereShe had been advertising for the big opening for weeks, and hoped for a good turn-out
Bettes cell phone rang Hello? answered Bette
Hey.Are you about done there?
Yea, why? asked Bette
I was hoping that I could take you out for dinner? asked Tina..
I would love toobut I have plans already
Plans? Wait.you arent planning on spending all night there are you? I mean, You have spent every waking minute working to get that gallery opendont you think you need a break?
No..Im not staying here all nightI actuallyIm going out tonight..
Oh.. said Tina sounding surprised Well maybe tomorrow night then?
Yea..that sounds good
So, will you be home late tonight?
I dont really know.maybe
Alright.Ill leave the porch light on then said Tina sounding sadyet angry

An hour later, Bette was readyWhen she had re-done the gallery, she made sure to include a big bathroom.a shower, a sink, a toilet, and a huge garden tub.Just for those nights that she didnt want to go homeor for nights like these, when she wanted to go out after workand wanted to shower first
She made her way to the bar that she had promised a certain someone that she would meet them atwalking inside, she was bombarded by a beautiful blonde.(Not Tina)that she ultimately had to turn down..because the certain someone had walked up to her and asked her what drink she would like.
Candace and Bette walked to the bar, and ordered the drinks.then sat and talked for a while.
I am soo glad that you came here to meet me
I wouldnt have missed it for the world
Tina at home? asked Candace
I think soactually Im not sureshe called and wanted to go to dinner, but I turned her down to come here
AhhI am flattered.. said Candace If I can, if you dont mind..Id like to ask you a question
Sure.. said Bette as she took a deep gulp of her drink..

Well, I am not exactly sure how to answer thatI dont really have an answerwe were together for so long..and she cheated on megot pregnantand may have possibly ruined her entire lifeI am not sure if I can forgive herIm not sure if I can move on with her

Bette shook her head NoI like spending time with youI dont want a relationship though.I am just not ready for that yet.Im not even sure what I am doing from day to day anymore.
So, you just want a hot one night stand of steamy sexand hard-core *****? asked Candace laughing
Bette laughed aloud. Maybe.. she answered
Candace almost choked on the drink that she had just taken. Um..would you like to dance? she asked as she sat the drink on the table.
Yea..sure
They got up and went onto the dance floorthe beat rang through the speakers as Candace grabbed Bettes hips, and pulled her closethey were grinding onto each others legs.and dancing their hearts outthe more they drank and danced, the better time they had..
Finally, Candace couldnt stand it anymore.Bette had grinded into her all night, and every time she took a breath, she could smell the sweet scent of Bettes bodyshe was throbbing
A slow groove came on, and Candace pulled Bette closer to her. You smell so good.. she whispered into Bettes ear
A Thank you came very huskily out of Bettes mouthThere had been noone else in the last 7 years, that had made her heart pump this hard.noone that had turned her on like this.Candace heard a slight moan come out of Bettes mouth, as she ran her hand up her back and rested it onto her shoulder blade.
She decided to go for it.and she pulled her hand up behind Bettes neck and pulled her into a sensitve, yet passionate kissshe ran her tongue along Bettes bottom lip.and then darted it into her mouth..their tongues tangling around each other as the moans grew louder.The kiss lasted 3 or 4 minutes, and they were both about to explodebefore Candace pulled back. Why dont we get out of here..and she let out another moan the feel of Bettes hand on her skinwas making her ache with intensity
Bette moaned Are u sure?
never been more sure about anything said Candace as she kissed her again

They both turned and walked towards the door..and out to the car…Candace got into the drivers seat, and drove Bette back to her apartment.knowing that what she was doing may be wrongbut if it was so wrong.how could it feel so right?..

Don’t you have atleast two other characters in the wings. The person in the photographs and the photographer.
So, you are adding fuel to the flame. Bettecould have stop what her face, She should not be living with Tina,if she knows she will not go back as her partner. Tina was so wrong with what she did, but Bette is so very very wrong. This was a hard one I know to write. But thanks for writing it.
i think the story is great with candace in it. i say go with the flow. tina messed up in the first place by cheating. plus bette and tina aren’t exactly together at the moment so tina shouldn’t be haten’. great chapter can’t wait for the next one.
As much as I hate candyass, you really can’t blame Bette here and C did make it clear about her intentions…hmmm…still not sure…it’s sad though that Bette has to do this to relieve her anger and pain…hard one girl but great job!
To all of the commenters, I just want to say thank you….especially the comments on writing the story the way I want…that’s what I intend to do…and if I offend anyone…welll,,then so be it…I write what I feel at the moment…and that is that…..

Wildtouch…. GO FOR IT! I’ll say it again I am a staunch Bette & Tina supporter that’s the romantic fool in me talking. The other side of my brain is saying this is a darn exciting story; the plot is very, very engaging. I always say the quill is mightiest in the hands of a talented bard. If the build up is good, backgrounds stories are well laid out right from the start supporting the actions that’s follows from the characters and no matter how much pain the story causes to a reader it doesn’t change the fact that well written story IS A WELL WRITTEN STORY. I appreciate literary excellence in any form sure my B&T heart bleeds LOL for these two but hey! This is fiction, which means the “suspend belief†theory applies that’s said… So! Go with your instinct!

Honestly, this story is different and i respect the author’s ability to write what they wanna write- go for it- but with that being said..it stated in the comments section that this Candace is different from the one who we know and hate and imho there is not much difference between the two.. with that being said, it seems like all of the characters in this story have made bad choices-
Tina being the primary offender..so in short..i am still hatin’ this and all Candaces, by the way,… but its your story to tell..so write on..5 candy-hatin’ stars..
omg! even though i don’t like her whose name we don’t say… i’m feeling this interaction for now. get to writing! will tina bust things up or will bette get a conscience? thanks for writing! :D

i still think Bette is wrong. She should have totally left Tina before sleeping with Candace. Here she’ll also be a cheater.
I believe it is difficult to write these stories and to write them consistently. I also think the more one writes the better they become. I applaud your time and effort.
I’m almost afraid to speak this heresy on this site, but I kinda liked Candace, thought she was a beautiful woman. Write your story the way you want and I will surely read it and enjoy.

Wow Wildtouch…such emotion you are evoking with your story! The heartbreak that comes from infidelity is overwhelming, and can be demoralizing. The fact that Tina not only cheated, but she went back and stayed with Eric, were consious decisions on Tina’s part. I understand that she has realized her enormous mistake, and now wants to make amends, but she needs to realize the incredible amount of pain that Bette is trying to process and let go of…and if being with someone else, who is clearly showing her how beautiful and wanted she is, will help her with her self worth…then Tina AND the rest of us need to allow Bette this time. Whether it is with Candace, or anyone else, I totally understand Bette’s need to feel wanted…desired. Great story, whether you get them back together, or not! Thanks!!
Although, I don’t particularly find this version of Candace a complete opposite from the TV one, I suppose her honesty makes them different slightly. You know what…scratch what I just said. This Candace (and I don’t hate or loath the TV character as much as others on this site, but then again, I don’t care for her either) is as aggressive and morally reprehensible as the other, and Bette is no saint right now either… How does this Candace differ since she continues to aggressively pursue Bette, fully aware of the current situation with her wife (true, she and T are not technically “together,” but they still live together and supposedly Bette still “loves” her more than life itself)? If B&T are still best friends, who happen to be roommates, one of whom is actively wanting to get back together, which the other knows (yes, Tina still needs to work on why she cheated in the first place; do some much needed soul searching she can share with Bette, but really to regain her independence and sense of self—the short conversation where she told Bette she was making it easier on her to leave has yet to be fully fleshed out and warrants many more discussions and reflection on both parts, imho), then how can the other consciously disrespect the best friend and the friendship so blatantly? Vengeance is so trite—tit for tat never pays off in the end. If Bette truly wants to move on without Tina, then she should at least have the decency to either move out of the house or ask Tina to find other lodging before she goes off ho-ing it up with someone, especially Candace, since she seems to be despised by just about everyone on this site. Why no one can cut her (I like the nickname, Candyass) some slack is pretty obvious to the diehard BnT fans, myself included.
Other than that, I like how you’ve totally diverged from the original story line and have created this alternate universe for us to share. Thanks for sticking with this story, which I’m glad to see you didn’t get “bored†of as quickly as you had with the other two stories you wrote. ;-) Keep the chapters and drama coming!
