Bette led Tina into the house and what they saw before them made them stop dead in their tracks. They couldnt believe their eyes. They blinked a few times but the image stuck like glue. Alice and Dana were leaning on the kitchen counter making out. Bette and Tina looked at each other and giggled like silly schoolgirls.

Tina cleared her throat, So you guys wanna tell us all about this?

Alice and Dana stopped what they were doing and both their faces turn bright red.

Man I hope those people in there work things out, Shane thought. She lit another cigarette her mind played over the events of the day; her reaction to Bettes infidelity, her surprised face when she found out about Dana and Alice and her heart breaking after knowing how Cherie wouldnt want to be with her. She sighed. She couldnt give a damn about Cherie, she knew she would find love sooner or later. All she wanted was for those four people she loves most to make it through the day.

Shane what are you doing? Its dark outside. Come in! Bette asked Shane with tears in her eyes. Shane find that odd. She hoped it was tears of happiness and as soon as she got in the house she found Tina smiling and Dana and Alices faces were red.

Hey whats going on here? Shane asked.

Dont tell me you dont already know! Tina replied.

Dont worry Shane, sit down Bette said.

So Al, tell me, whats going on? Do you want to tell us or do we have to force it out of you?

Bette and Tina burst out laughing and Shane joined in suddenly realising what was going on here.

Come on Al, what is going on? Bette asked.

Shane, did you know that these two were at it while we were by the pool? Tina asked her.

Yeah, I mean no.

Huh? Which one is it Shane? Yes or no? You couldnt have known you werent here!!!

I mean, I dont know they were at it here, just now but I knew they kissed last night at Danas

THEY WHAT?!?! both Bette and Tina said in unison.

Umm yeah well, sorry guys Shane said shyly to Alice and Dana who rolled their eyes but smiled nonetheless.

Wheres Tonya? Bette asked Shane with a questioning look.

Hey dont look at me! Go and ask Dana. I wasnt the one who was gonna marry her!

All eyes were on Dana. Alice let go of Danas hands unsure of what to expect from her.

Well, Tonyas, Tonyas at home. Shes she was cut off by her phone ringing. She looked at the caller ID and it came from her house. She sighed. She feels guilty talking to Tonya. She shook her head and opened her flip cell.

Hey! Where are Yeah Sure just leave it there. I know. Im sorry. I know Im, Im really sorry Tonya. I know Ive been such an *****. Yeah ok. Yeah sure. Ok again Im sorry, really Tonya hung up even before Dana could say bye.

Dana? Who was that? And whats with the apologies? Alice was concerned.

Dana sighed. She didnt want to be another cheater in the room. She didnt mean for this to happen. But things just happened, and they happened so fast she couldnt keep up. She looked at Alice wondering how she would react once she knew what happened between her and Tonya. Would she still want to be with me now? She thought. She looked at Bette, god, this is how Bette feels, about cheating Tina; this couldnt entirely be her fault. She moved her stare to Tina who was frowning. *****, she thought, another cheater in the room, God, this really is a bad day. Her eyes moved to Shane, her eyes pleading for Shane to help her. Shane smiled and nodded.

It was Tonya. You guys, Tonya is, shes Dana couldnt finish her sentence.

What Danas trying to say is that Tonyas moved out of Danas, Shane finally said.

The room was quiet. Bette was the first to move and pulled Dana into a tight hug. Im sorry Dane.

Why did you do it Dane? Alice asked.

Bette and Dane let go of each other and they both looked at Alice.

Did you do it cos of what happened last night?

I, its one of the reasons Al. I just couldnt live a lie. I couldnt live with someone and have secrets. And I couldnt marry someone and not share things. And I cant keep lying to Tonya. I had to tell her. I think its the best thing to do, I mean to tell her the truth. And when I did, we both decided it was over. We werent meant to be Al, you said so yourself theres someone better for me out there. And youre just part of the reason I broke it off with her. I realised that I love you Al, I love you and no one else. Its over between me and Tonya

Alice had tears in her eyes. Shes never heard anyone talk to her that way before. And coming from Dana, made it even more special. But she wasnt sure if this is right. As much as she hates Tonya, she didnt want to be the one helping to break a relationship.

Are you sure Dane? I mean are you sure this is what you want?

Ive never been more sure in my life! But are you?

Alices smile widen, Im sure if you are!!!!

She smiled and pulled her into an embrace.
