Roads … … … Chapter 2
“I’ll speak to you soon then. Unofficially though, welcome to TrekStar Productions.”
“Thank you so much.”
“See you later, Tina.”
“Bye Josh.”
Tina maintained her composure for the whole twelve minutes it took her to leave the building.
‘Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! I have to call Alice!’
She pulled out her cell phone, but in her hast managed to send it flying across the car park and onto the floor smashing it.
“***** *****…. I can’t believe the ***** luck I’m….”
Luck? She was lucky. She had just landed the title of Productions Manager at one of the up and coming production companys in West Hollywood.
She was too happy to be pissed off.
‘Ahh forget it! I’ll just buy a new one. This day is way too good to let anythign wreck it. I’ll get home, call the girls and then we’re going out! ***** I haven’t been out with them since…’
Bette. Ten days. It had been ten days since she had officially ended it. Tina had thrown herself so much into starting her new life – on her own – that she hadn’t spent much time with any of her friends.
‘God! C’mon Kennard. Tonight I celebrate. It’s over. It’s time I move on.’
Tina opened her car door and got inside. She took in a deep breath.
‘Tina Kennard, TrekStar Production Manager. Hmmm, I could get used to that.’
She turned the key in the ignition and pulled out of the parking spot sporting the biggest smile a girl could wear.

I like this I can’t wait to see how you play this out.Post soon
I like the way you’re structuring this in the early going. Short concise chapters that lay out the setting for the characters and the story to come. Keep up the good work.
“TrekStar?” Is someone a Trekkie, perhaps? ;-) No apologies needed for the brevity of the two chapters. I found both worked to set the stage as windrider mentioned. Looking forward to your take on these two.
hmmm…you have my attention…i like short, long, medium sized stories…interested in seeing where you take us…
I like your action-based characterization… it’s as if you’re inviting us to watch these characters with you. Very nice.
