Tina heard all of Bettes words and was so touched. so moved, by Bettes sincerity, honesty andlove, that it took a few minutes for it all to actually sink in. Tina was loosing herself in Bettes eyes, and her own thoughts.

A few minutes had passed and the tears were flowing freely down Tinas face, Tina didnt realize but she still hadnt given Bette an answer.

Bette on the other hand didnt know what to make of it. It was the longest few minutes of her life. This was the only time in her whole life she felt completely vulnerable. She had opened her heart, her inner most soul to Tina and she had absolutely no power over the situation, Tina could do to her what she pleased. Big chances, Big rewards, Bette kept thinking to herself.

Bette was becoming increasingly worried that this may not be what Tina wanted, and started to withdraw her hand from Tinas, dejectedly down casting her eyes to the floor.

Maybe its too soon? Maybe Tina doesnt want to get married? Maybe she just doesnt want to marry me? Bette thought, the tears beginning to well in the corner of her eyes.

As soon as Tina felt Bette pull away, she returned back to reality, realizing she hadnt said anything.she hadnt answered Bette.

Tina put her hand on Bettes chin and bought Bettes eyes up to meet her own. Tina saw the anguish and uncertainty in Bettes face. With her tears still flowing freely, Tina began, Bette, Do you really want to marry me? Do you really want this?

Bette: (simply) Yes, Ive never wanted anything more.

Tinas face erupted into a huge grin, Well Ms Porter I would love to. Yes, Yes, Yes, Of course I will marry you!

Now it was Bettes turn, her whole face lit up in a smile, (excitedly) Really?

Tina: (sincerely) YeahReally!

Bette arose from her knee to place the chain with the ring, around Tinas neck. She didnt get a chance to though. Once Bette was on her feet Tina jumped into her arms nearly causing her to topple backwards.

Tina laid a scorching kiss on Bettes lips, retreating after a few moments from lack of oxygen, looking deeply into Bettes eyes, breathing erratically, I am so in love with you, Bette Porter! I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with you!

Bette looked into Tinas eyes, and sighed in relief, (breathless) I am so in love with you too baby!

Bette held Tina in her strong safe arms and they kissed again, a kiss that portrayed exactly how they felt, a kiss that showed them that they were meant to be, a kiss that sealed their fate, a kiss that showed beyond doubt that they were committed to each other, a kiss that said so much more than mere words ever could. And when it finished neither woman knew how many minutes, how many hours, had passed both dizzy from the intoxicating effect of that one amazing kiss

Bette: (almost gasping for air) Wow..So I guess your stuck with me baby, forever? Now I love the sound of that!

Tina: I wouldnt want it any other way babeforever sounds just perfect!

The two women just stood in each others arms, wanting to commit this exact moment to their memories, staring into one anothers eyes, with looks of complete love!!!!!!!

Bette cut Tina off, pulling her into a loving embrace, Im sorry babyyou dont need to worry. I am not going anywhere. Bette pulled back and bought her lips to Tinas in a gentle, brief kiss.

Tina smiled into the kiss and just stared at Bette for a moment before a thought just dawned on her, If I had had my senses, I shouldve noticed there was no fire truck out front. and Im going to kill Craig, that bloody Captain of mine. I cant believe he conspired with you; he should be on my side!!. Did James know too?

Bette: (cheekily) No James was only given specific instructions that he was told must be adhered to!

Tina: (happily smiling) But babe it was the most unforgettable day of my whole life. Thank you for giving us a chance at forever!

Bette had a permanent smile plastered on her face, Its not a chance baby, its meant to be!

Tina: I cant believe were getting married, I love you babe..so much. Tina hugged Bette so tight she nearly cut off her circulation, but Bette didnt care. She was over the moon. She never thought anyone could make her feel so happy!!

Bette: Now this is the reaction that I wanted!!

Bette broke their embrace and took Tinas hand, Ok Tee let me get out of this stuff so we can go home, talk about our wedding (grinning) and practice for our wedding night!!! wiggling her eyebrows.

Tina: (suggestively) Ok yeah. lets go, but we can talk much later and leave the uniform on babe (looking Bette up and down appreciatively). I want to make the most of you in it..You know, ever since I joined the brigade I have always had a fantasy about that uniform..and now in particular you in that uniform

Bette: (looking seductively at Tina) Well, Well, Well, and what Fantasy might that be? Do tell your future wife?

Tina: (teasingly) Well if you really want to know.. Ill tell you in the car, come on! Tina went to escort Bette out to the car By the way babe, what have you got on under there? trying to sneak a peak under Bettes coat

Bette: (laughing) Sorry to disappoint you baby, but Ive got pants and a wife beater on. I had to lend this stuff you know

Bette stopped Tina for a minute, Arent you forgetting something Tee? holding up the necklace with the ring.

Tina: Oh yeah.

Bette let go of Tinas hand and gently clasped the chain with the ring around Tinas neck, bringing her lips to Tinas in a sensual kiss, sealing the deal!

Bette: This is only temporary Teeas soon as you hand is healed this is going in its rightful spot.

Tina looked at Bette and just smiled, she too never thought she could be this happy and contented; she wanted this feeling to last forever!!

After Sarah had finished for the day with Alice, she decided to pay Shane a visit. It was just after 1pm, Shane had been busy the last few weeks renovating Danas new home, she had purchased, on the outskirts of West Hollywood.

Sarah decided she had to talk to Shane. She had to talk to Shane NOW while she had the nerve. Sarah had to determine if they had a future together, if that was something Shane wanted. This not knowing was driving her nuts.

When I think I love someone and I dont know if they feel the same wayGod, Ive never had to deal with that before. Why do I feel so insecure? Sarah thought to herself on the way over.

Sarah was just like Tina in that respect, usually so sure and confident in herselfbut when it came to love, real love, well that was a different ball game.

Shane had completed the renovation that morning and arranged to meet with Dana at 1pm to show her the completed work and how to operate the new gadgets she had requested be installed

Shane had shown Dana around her newly renovated home. Dana was so excited and pleased at what she saw, when they completed the tour, she walked up to Shane and planted a kiss right on Shanes lips.

It was supposed to be a friendly peck on the lips, but as soon as Dana felt her lips brush against Shanes she couldnt help but deepen the kiss. Sarah was walking up the drive and saw the exchange through the window; feeling vulnerable enough already.she stood there for a moment, her mouth agape.

She ran back to her car, visibly distressed, her heart breaking. She sat in her car for quite a while, composing herself, her mind working overtime, deciding what she was going to do next!!

Meanwhile Shane had collected herself after Danas unexpected lip lock, and spoke, firmly to Dana, Dane were friends, thats it..Im with someone, Im with Sarah, you know that. That was totally inappropriate.

Dana couldnt even believe her boldness; she actually had the nerve to kiss Shane. She had wanted to since the day they met, but Shane was right, it was inappropriate. It was too late now, or was it? Dana thought ***** it and spoke, Yes but do you love her Shane? Are you in love with Sarah?

Shane thought long and hard, Yeah DaneI think I actually am! Yes I am! a smile tugged at the corner of Shanes mouth with the realization.

Dana saw the look in Shanes eye and knew she didnt have a chance, Shane was gone, Well ok then!

Shane: Listen just forget this whole kiss thing ok. It will never be bought up again as far as Im concerned. We leave it right here, right now, between you and me!.. were friends Dane just think how many people you would hurt ..Tina is our friend .. And Sarah is her sister besides I will not hurt Sarah, she is too important to me!!!

Dana: Well you cant blame a girl for trying. I understand and I will respect your relationship dont worry. I dont want to hurt Sarah or Tina either, I dont really know what came over me?

Shane: Its cool, dont sweat it.. I gotta go Dane ok, Ill see you later!

Shane left Danas smiling, realizing for the first time in her life she actually loved somebody. But did Sarah feel the same? Shane thought to herself, God thats why you dont do love what are you thinking?you just couldnt help yourself could you?. but she is just so. ***** and cool and gorgeous..wow!!! You are in love.
