Andie was too busy trying to drag Tina into the club that she wasnt paying attention to her surroundings. She soon looked over Tinas shoulder at the other four women. She opened her mouth to say something to them, when she noticed Jennys clear blue eyes were wide with amazement. Andie turned around, her mouth dropped slightly, eyes widening as she dropped Tinas hand.

She looked around the club and took in all of the sights. The color scheme was all burgundy and black. Velvet was all over the place, burgundy and black velvet chairs, booths, and curtains. Mirrors were placed everywhere, along with lights blinking a deep red color.

A bar was off to the left. Two huge birdcages were on either sides of the bar. Inside the cages were swings that had a woman swinging. One woman wore a black corset that tied up the front, a matching thong and garter belt snapped onto the lace edge of her black stockings. The other woman in the cage wore the exact some outfit, but it was burgundy. Andie didnt register for a few minutes that the two blonde women were identical twins.

Waitresses were wandering all over the place, some holding trays, others leaning over seductively, to customers tables taking their orders. They wore black or burgundy 1940s attire, each with their hair in a low bun to the side with a burgundy orchid strategically placed in their hair.

At the bar was a woman bartender dressed in a tuxedo. Her brown hair was short and slicked back. She was busy placing drinks either on trays or in front of customers that sat at the bar on stools. A cigarette girl walked around holding her tray of different cigarettes and cigars out to tempt people.

A lot of the women sitting at the tables in the club wore suits, tuxedos, or tuxedo pants with white ribbed tank tops with suspenders. The more feminine women wore an array of styled clothing from modern day outfits to gothic clothing to 1940 evening gowns.

Andie looked at the stage where a beautiful blonde woman was dancing sultry in front of a mirror. She was almost naked, but didnt move like a regular stripper would, she moved slowly, teasingly. Her smile was very innocent and demure.

A butch boi sat at a table in front of the stage. She was leaning back in the chair, smoking a cigar. A hat sat on her head cocked to the side; the brim covered one of her eyes. Her arms were strong and muscular with ***** that were small and confined under a tight white tank top. The boi kept her legs that were covered in gray pinstriped pants lazily crossed, almost like a man would cross their legs. Her head nodded slightly as she watched the woman dance.

Andie was simply in awe by the almost Moulin Rouge feel of the club.

Alices voice rang out, Im going to get drinks. Anybody else want something? Ill buy this round.

Ill come help you, Allie. Why dont you guys go find a table or something? Andie smiled.

Ok. Ill have a beer. Shane answered.

Ill have some white wine. Tina said, her eyes wandering around the club.

Vodka and red bull, please. Dana said smiling at Alice.

UmmmIll have an apple martini, please. Jenny said.

Alice and Andie walked to the bar, while the others went the other way. Alice ordered the drinks as Andie turned around and leaned her elbows against the bar. She watched the other women take a table close to the stage. Shane looked over at her and smiled, Andie smiled back. A younger girl walked by their table, she stopped and said something to the women. The ladies all laughed and began talking to her.

So. Whats going on with you and Shane? Alice asked, she was smirking and wiggling her eyebrows.

Dont give me that look, Alice. Andie rolled her eyes. Im not sure whats happening. We are just getting to know each other. I am attracted to her though.

I can tell you are really starting to like her. Alice said seriously.

Why do you say that? Andie looked out over the stage. She was trying to sound like she didnt know what Alice was talking about.

You forget, I know you really well, Andie. I know when she want someone to ***** and when you are actually interested in a woman. Want know how I know?

Andie turned to look at Alice, Yes, Al tell me how you oh-matchmaker-friend-of-mine, know.

Alice laughed, You bite your lip every time the woman says something thatthatI dont know you just bite your lip a lot.

Andie shook her head and said to the bartender, Can you start a tab for us, please? Thank you.

Alice picked up one of the trays and Andie grabbed the other one.

Al, like I said we are just getting to know each other. Andie said as they walked towards their table, So dont freak Shane out, all right?

Mmmhmm, yeah yeah. Alice said as they approached the table.

All right ladies, here are the drinks! Andie said loudly placing her tray on the table. The girl who was talking to the women smiled and then touched Shane on the shoulder.

So, give me a call soon Shane, ok?

Ah, yeah. Ill call you sometime. Shane said a little uncomfortably.

The girl left as Alice and Andie sat down. Andie looked up at the stage, the woman dancing was holding a large purple feather in front of her naked body. Every time she moved or twirled she would teasingly move the feather so the audience could get a quick glance of her bare *****. Some women were hooting at her. Tina drank her wine fast.

Hey we should get Tina a dance. Shane said loudly.

Oh, no no no no! Tina shook her head.

Oh come on Tina, what can it hurt? You came here to have fun. Dana said.

I dont know you guys. Tina said looking at each woman.

Here Tina, have my drink, Ill drive us home tonight. Alice said pushing her drink over to Tina.

All right. What have I got to lose? Tina smiled and drank half of Alices drink. The women clapped their hands and laughed.

The feather dancer left the stage and the lights went dim in the club. Suddenly, a voice was blared out over the club.

Ladies, bois and others. We only get to experience this a few times a year. Im proud to introduce, Velvets very own Queen of Burlesque. The infamous Velvet!

Everyone in the audience cheered loudly. Shane looked at Andie who was clapping and watching the stage closely. The lights in the club burned like candlelight as the huge stage began to move into a circle. On the stage was a large four-post bed, draped in a black velvet comforter. Burgundy pillows of all shapes and sizes were placed on the bed. Tall black candles burned on each side. One of the blonde twins that had been in the birdcages was now on the stage. She was dressed in a French maid uniform and was dusting the nightstand next to the bed with a feather duster. She bent over and the curve of her ***** was revealed. Erotic rave like music played, it was almost hypnotic. Off a little bit to the side was a dressing curtain; it slowly began to turn in a circle. On the other side was a large vanity. A woman was sitting in front of the vanity, staring at herself in the mirror. The other blonde twin was brushing the womans straight raven black hair as the woman put blush on. Soon the two maids left the stage as the woman stood up. She wasnt very tall, but the strappy stiletto heels masked her height. She wore a dress that reminded Andie of the pink dress that Madonna wore in her Material Girl music video. Except Velvets dress was black velvet. People in the audience let out catcalls as she walked to the front of the stage. Velvet smoothed her hands over the tight corset torso of the dress and then down over her hips. Suddenly, a modern ***** rendition of Let Me Entertain You began to pulse through the club. The womans deep red lips grew into a smile. Her hair was cut and styled like Bettie Paige. She moved her body in a seductive manner, pointing her toe; she began to pull the hem of her dress up over her knee. Revealing creamy pale leg covered in a black sheer stocking.

Shane put her fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly. While the other women clapped. Velvet slowly raked her fingertips over one of her long black gloves. Then began to pull the glove off enticingly, throwing it out into the audience. Jennys eyes never left the beautiful woman during her entire teasing and classic strip tease.

During Velvets set Tina had three more drinks. It was becoming obvious that she was drunk.

And then Alice broke it off with Lisa. He was more of a ***** then any of us put together! Tina laughed loudly and slapped the table with her opened hand as she laughed. All of the women laughed with her. Andie was relaxed in her chair; she was beginning to really love the club. The women were beautiful, the drinks were stiff and the atmosphere was classy, but relaxed. All within the first hour they were there, several women had come up to Shane. They would either grill her about not calling them or flirting with her openly. Shane didnt seemed interested in any of them, but it was in her nature to flirt back harmlessly. Shane was smooth when she talked herself out of trouble. Andie would just shake hear head, while Dana rolled her eyes and the other laughed. Tina was nursing another drink, listening as Dana talked about the wedding planner from *****.

She wants us to have Subaru sponsor our wedding. You know, be the first ***** couple to have Subaru sponsor their wedding. Dana said sounding frustrated.

Dana, maybe you should just tell her you dont want it to be like that. Jenny said leaning forward, Its your wedding, too.

Andie could tell that Alice was trying to hide the fact that she was upset at the wedding talk. Andie smiled reassuringly to her.

Its not that easy. Dana said.

The conversation continued as Shane saw Velvet making her rounds in the club. She stopped at each table smiling and talking to the women. She walked past the stage and looked up at the red head on stage, which was bathing in a large martini glass, squishing water onto her naked flesh with a huge sponge that looked like a green olive. Velvet blew a kiss to the girl and turned around. She saw Shanes table and smiled wide. She walked gracefully, her hips swaying with every step. The other women saw her walking towards their table. Tina sat up straight in her seat. Alice couldnt take her eyes off of the pale beauty.

Just as she arrived at her table, Shane stood up from her chair. The other women looked at Shane and then at Velvet.

Shane! God its been too long! Velvet said walking around to Shane. She kissed Shanes lips softly. How are you?

Busy, but really good. Its so great to see you, Velvet. Your show was amazing as usual. Shane said happily.

Thank you. Your hair is so short. Always the daring one. I love it. Velvet messed up Shanes hair. (Well, as much as Shanes hair can get messed up.)

Everyone, this is Miss Velvet. Velvet this is Jenny, Alice, Andie, Dana and Tina. Shane said pointing to each woman. All of them smiled or said hello.

Hi ladies, you enjoying yourselves? Velvet said, her skin was flawless and so pale.

Absolutely! Andie said.

I have never seen a show like that before, Velvet. We love the club, too. Dana said.

Shane and Velvet sat down.

Well, thank you, hun. She smiled sexily at Dana. Velvet looked up and waved to one of the waitresses, who came over to the table.

Melissa, all of their drinks are on the house, ok? Velvet said.

Melissa nodded and went to the bartender to let her know, while everyone thanked Velvet.

So what kind of work do you all do? Velvet asked, crossing her legs.

Andie was impressed with how ladylike Velvet was.

Im a writer, slash grocery clerk. Jenny said smiling.

So am I, I write for a magazine. I think I read something on your club and you not that long ago. Alice spoke up.

Velvet smiled, Was it a good article?

Oh yeah, it really praised you for being different and really trying to bring back the classy striptease and teaching the art of tease to others. Alice said excitedly.

Velvet laughed softly and smiled. Im trying to do that yeah.

I play in a band and work down at the Planet. Andie said.

Ive been there before, great coffee. What kind of music does your band play? Velvet asked.

Well, the band is kind of a pop punk. But I can sing and play all kinds of music. Andie answered with a smile.

We are looking for a band to play sometime with the dancers. We have been wanting to have a live feel to the dances. Bring me some of your music to listen to and maybe we could talk. Velvet spoke as she looked around.

Sure.

Velvet looked at Tina who was sitting back in her chair watching the dancing on the stage.

What do you do, blondie? Velvet placed a hand on Tinas knee.

Oh, Im currently working with school kids. Organizing charities for the community. Tina said, her words slurred just barely noticeable. Will you excuse me for a moment?

Tina got up and walked to the restrooms. Shane watched her worried.

What about you? Velvet was talking to Dana.

IIm a tennis player. Dana answered.

Are you any good? Velvet grinned.

I think Im ok. Dana said modestly.

She is really good. Alice spoke up.

Very nice. Velvet smiled. What brings you ladies to the club tonight?

Well, we are here to cheer up Tina. Shes been down lately and I thought we could bring her to a place where the women are beautiful and *****. What better place to bring someone to get their mind off of things then here? Shane talked loudly.

I should have you do my advertising, Shane. Well make sure that she has a good time. Velvet said sweetly. Perhaps a private session with one of the girls will do the trick.

Alice got excited, That would be perfect.

Any of the girls catch your eyes? Velvet looked around at who was working tonight.

Ummmhow about.. Jenny looked around, too.

How about you, Velvet? Andie asked.

Hmmm. Velvet thought for a minute. I havent done a session in a really long time, but since it is to cheer someone up, why not.

Shane smiled.

Velvet looked up watching Tina move through the tables to get back to them. Velvet thought she was very attractive. This wont be bad at all, she thought to herself.

Tina smiled as she sat back down.

How do you know Shane? Jenny asked.

Well, I actually met her a long time ago. When I had first opened this place. She was a regular for a long time and all the ladies were in love with her. Velvet laughed. Well, fell in love and then some wanted to lynch her, too. So, after a while, I got to know her and found out she was going to be a hair stylist. I decided to go to her. Now, she the only one I let touch my hair. I recommend all of the ladies that work here to go to her.

Shane just sat back smiling as Velvet talked. She looked at Andie who was also interested in the conversation.

Anyway, Velvet became quiet and then looked at Tina. Tina seemed preoccupied, her index finer moving around the rim of her glass. Are you having a good time, Tina?

Velvet turned in her chair to completely pay attention to Tina. Tina looked up at the beautiful woman and smiled.

Yes, its a great club. She said.

Shane looked at Andie and then Alice.

Im gonna go dance. Andie want to come with me? Shane stood up. Andie got the hint.

Sure. She stood up and followed Shane.

Alice and Dana went to the dance floor, too, while Jenny went to the bar.

I really like this place. Andie said linking one arm around Shanes neck and the other one her waist. Its different, not like the other clubs.

Yeah, I just hope Tina has a good time. Shane smiled softly, the two looked over at the table where Tina sat. Velvet was sitting in a fashion that her body language gave off the vibe that she was interested. Tina was talking with a smile on her face and giving Velvet eye contact. Velvet nudged her head towards a door that had black curtains as the door. Tina smiled shyly and then looked to the dance floor. Shane looked over Andies shoulder and saw Alice and Dana dancing close. You would have to be blind not to see the heat between them.

Tina nodded slowly. Velvet stood up and held her hand out; Tina took it and followed Velvet to the back room. Andie smiled as she watched them. Over Shanes shoulder, Andie saw Jenny dancing closely to a hot boi, who had placed her hat on to Jennys head.

Suddenly, Andie felt a tap on her shoulder. She pulled away and turned around. A small blonde wearing a blue 1940s style nightgown that was see through, stood behind Andie. Her ***** were covered, but you could see everything else. Her short blonde hair was done with finger waves. Andie thought she was one of the performers, when

May I cut in? the blonde asked Andie. Hi Shane. She said in a ***** voice.

Andie looked at Shane then back at the girl. Sure. Andie said. Shane looked shocked.

Umm, hi Laney. You know, I came here with Andie, actually. Shane said.

Laney looked Andie up and down. Raising an eyebrow as if she was surprised. Andie stepped back.

Its just I havent seen you in a really long time, you know, Shane? Laney was trying to pout.

Shane dance with her. I wanted to get a drink anyway. Seriously. Andie smiled and then walked off the floor and to the bar.

Shane watched as Andie went to the bar. Laney looked at Shane and then grabbed her arms forcing them around her waist. Shane smiled slightly, as Laney pressed her body against Shane, her arms linked around Shanes neck.

So, how you been, Laney? Shane asked trying to put some air between their bodies.

Ive been good. I would have been better if you had actually woke me up before you left the last time. Laney said as the music suddenly stopped, but another erotic song replaced it. Shane tried to pull away from Laney again without causing a scene. Laney just turned around and wiggled her ***** against Shane.

Umm, Laney. Im sorry that I did that, but it just Shane looked over and saw Andie sitting on a stool talking to the bartender. Alice was walking over to Andie and said something to Andie. Andie just shrugged.

Dont worry about last time. Just make it up to me tonight. Laney turned and smiled up at Shane.

Laney, I told you, I came here with Andie. Shane said carefully.

Laney looked over to the bar, where Alice was talking to Andie.

Alice was watching Shane and Laney.

Yep, in the back room with Velvet. You know, I cant help, but feel like Im being a bad friend to Bette, here. Alice looked down.

Hey, its just a dance. We arent trying to hook her up with a new lady or anything like that. Andie rubbed Alices arm.

I know. Alice nodded. Andie looked around for Dana. She saw her in a corner talking into her cell phone, no doubt to Tonya.

What are you going to do about Dana? Andie asked.

I dont know. Nothing maybe, but then again something could happen. Im leaving it up to her. I havent really said much about things to her. Alice looked upset.

What do you want to happen, Allie? Andie said looking at Shane.

Im not sure. Alice answered.

Talk to her, Alice. Tell her what you feel. Andie kissed Alices cheek and walked out to the dance floor.

Laney was kissing Shanes neck when Andie stepped up to them.

Come on, now. Shane was saying. Laney saw Andie standing there and stepped back a bit with a little smirk on her face. Andie just smiled and looked at Shane.

You wanna come get another drink? Andie asked.

Yes. I do. Shane sounded almost relieved.
So, Shane are you going to come over tonight? Laney said pushing herself between Andie and Shane. Andie moved back, raising her eyebrow. The blonde slid her hands down Shanes arms.

No, Im not. Shane said softly.

Shane went to take Andies hand. Andie smiled and they began to walk off of the floor.

You are kidding me. You are passing me up for little miss pretty sow? Laney said defensive.

Andie turned around, Shane went to pull her arm, but she looked at Shane as if to say I can handle this.

I know it may be hard to get the concept of thisLaney is it? Andies ***** rasp spoke calmly, but bitter sweet. But not everyone is interested in hot little asses and perfect hair and *****. Especially if that hot little package doesnt show any type of self control. I thought you were one of dancers that worked here, but then I realized all of those women have class, which is something you have none of. You’re just a little girl in a big girls dress, trying to prove something. Although you have only proved that you do have *****.

Shane stood back watching with amazement. She couldnt help but try and hide her smile.

You know Shane will just leave in the middle of the night while your sleeping, after she ***** you. Not to mention shes been with everyone in L.A. Laney rested her hand on her hip.

Andie just smiled. Honey how do you know that, unless you have slept with everyone in L.A., too? I suggest you get over it and move on. Andie turned to leave, but then turned around. Oh and Laney, you may want to figure out a different way to show that maybe you were hurt. Coming on to the person that you think hurt you, is just asking for it to happen again.

Shane walked to Andie and put her arm around Andies waist.

And get some new insults, Laney, other then fat girl insults. Come up with something original next time, ok? Andie said, smiling when she felt Shanes arm around her.

Im sorry if I hurt you, Laney. But I told you up front what I was about, then. Shane said trying to sound comforting.

Andie pulled Shane with her over to the bar. Laney watched them and then went back to the tables where her friends sat at.

Shane stared at Andie as she sipped on her drink. Andie realized she was staring at her and looked back at Shane.

What? Andie asked.

Shane just grinned and kissed Andie fully on the lips. Andie smiled against Shanes lips and kissed her back.

Oh god, guys. Get a room, thats not mine. Alice said, Ok, who wants to go see if Tina is ok?

Shane pulled back, We can all go, but Im sure she is fine.

Jenny spoke up, Whats back there? she nodded to the back room.

Shane grinned, Wouldnt you like to know?

Shane wiggled her eyebrows. Dana groaned, while the others laughed.

Whats with all the wiggling of the eyebrows, tonight? Its like Groucho Marx is hanging out with us. Andie cracked.
