Alice sat around her apartment all day trying to find an excuse to bump into Natalie. Every time she heard someone rustling out in the hallway she tried to quietly take a peek out of her front door. No sign of her. Finally about one in the afternoon Alice decided to head off to The Planet. When she got there, she was delighted to see Tina, Dana, and Shane all gathered around a small table. She quickly went to the counter, ordered her latte, and joined her friends at the table.

Hey Alice! Where were you last night? We tried and tried to call you to see if you wanted to go to Milk with us. Asked Dana.

hi guys! OhI helped Natalie move into her new apartment and then we went out to dinner. Said Alice

All three in unison, Whos Natalie?

Oh you guys met her. Remember yesterday? Alice questioned, The girl who spilt coffee on me.

The military girl? Shane pointed out.

Yeah the military girl! Turns out she just moved into the apartment down the hall from me. Alice said with a smile.

Whats that grin for Alice? Do you have a crush? Tina said trying to be as nosey as Alice usually is. In this moment she was not herself!!

Crush? No! I hardly know her! We just met yesterday! Besides she doesnt even know that I am bi. Said Alice.

Wait is she *****? Tina said it but all of them wanted to know.

Her and her girlfriend just broke up right before she moved here from Virginia. Alice said.

Are you going to see her again? asked Dana.

I dont know. ProbablyI mean she just lives next door. Guys I am really tired. I am going to head home for a nap. I will catch up with you all later. Said Alice trying to use her best fake voice.

Alice walked off, latte in hand and headed back to her apartment. As she was nearing her apartment door she felt someone coming up behind her. She turned and saw Natalie dressed in green from head to toe. Her blond hair perfectly secured in a tight bun. Her make-up simple but perfect. Her brown eyes just gleaming. Her perfectly straight rows of ribbons. Her centered name plate that read Riley. Alice thought she looked simply beautiful.

Alice?

Oh, sorry! I guess I was daydreaming. What did you say? Asked Alice

You silly girl Natalie smiled I asked if you had any plans tonight. If not, do you want to do something with me? I dont know anyone else and I really dont want to spend the night alone in my empty apartment.

WellOf course! What are you in the mood for? asked Alice.

How about something quiet. Im really tired from moving and work today was really exhausting. What about we rent some movies and order take out? asked Natalie excitedly.

Sounds great! How about I go pick out the movies and you just drop by my place at 8? Alice was excited.

Perfect! exclaimed Natalie.



Alice was so excited. She has only known this girl for a short time but she really liked her. At 6:30, she went to the movie store. At 7, she called in the food order at Ching Dow Chinese Restaurant. At 7:30, Kang( the little china boy) Had delivered the food. At 8, No Natalie! Should I call her? Thought Alice Oh, *****! I dont have her number! Do I go over there? No! I dont want to seem to eager!

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!!

Alice ran for the door She waited just a second not to seem to anxious.

Hey! Come in How are you? asked Alice.

Sorry, Im a little late! I had to run by the school to pick up some paperwork.

Its ok! Come in! I got two movies. Something old, something new! I got Flash Dance. I love Jennifer Beals. And Chicago. I also ordered Chinese. Do you like Chinese?

Oh yes! I love Chinese! And Flash Dance and Chicago! Two of my favorites! Jennifer Beals is so hott!! Natalie said smiling.

The two girl popped in a movie and dug into the Chinese dishes. They both sat quietly as they watched Jennifer dance her heart out, Catherine and Renee sing their heart out. It was getting late and when it was time for Natalie to go home she just didnt want to got to that empty, lonely apartment.

Alice, thank you so much I had a great night. Said Natalie.

Alice tried to go after her but she was too late. Natalie had left and she didnt go to her apartment. ***** said Alice aloud!
