Bette felt the tension that had been residing in her shoulders fade away as she reflected on the advice Shane had given her. She had attributed all of her stress of late to the show but she knew the majority of it rested upon the impending pregnancy she was truly worried about that and admitting that out loud to Shane did relieve a great deal of the stress but she knew shed feel one hundred percent better if she spoke to Tina about it. Bette decided shed had enough fun for one day and left the CAC to spend time with Tina.

Bette arrived home two hours ahead of schedule. As Bette opened the door she was welcomed home by two of her favorite things. First the aroma of one of Tinas divine home cooked meals and secondly the sound of Tinas singing. Bette took a moment to reflect on her life and how much joy her beautiful wife gave her. Tonight she wanted to relax and reconnect with Tina”to stop running and share her concerns. Above all she just wanted Tina to know how much she absolutely adores her. Bette walked into the kitchen to greet her wife.
Bette: God T something smells great.
Tina: Aw babe”what are you doing here so early? I wanted everything to be ready when you got here. Is everything okay?
Bette: Everything is perfect now that Im here with my favorite girl. I couldnt wait to see you.

Bette walked over to Tina and embraced her in a warm loving hug. She then lowered her head to touch Tinas lips with her own. The contact at first gentle and soft quickly became a passion filled kiss of want and desire. Tina broke the kiss to fill her lungs before breathing became too much of an issue.
Tina: Wow babe what did I do to deserve that.
Bette: Youre just being you. You know my kisses belong to you. You dont have to do anything to deserve them.
Tina: (smiling) Oh thats so sweet. Babe Id love to continue our make out session but if I dont get back to our dinner we may burn the house down. Im happy you came home early but I wanted everything to be perfect when you got here.
Bette: Tina everything is perfect as long as were here together. Hey why dont you let me help you out with dinner?
Tina: (laughing) Bette you know this isnt really your thing. You can go relax or something if you want.
Bette: (holding Tinas hand) I really do want to help out. Is there anything I can do?
Tina: Okay I need some vegetables to be diced and chopped”celery, scallions, and green peppers, are you up for that?
Bette: (smiling) Absolutely

The ladies prepared dinner together for the rest of the evening and conversation flowed smoothly. There were long glances held between the two lovers and as the evening progressed they both realized they wanted to reconnect physically too. Bette decided she needed to speak to Tina about her concerns, *****, her fears before she initiated any physical intimacy. Bette cleared the dishes and asked Tina to join her on the sofa.
Bette: Tina Id like to talk to you about something if its okay.
Tina had already began stroking Bettes inner thigh when they joined each other on the sofa she knew how to get Bette hot and bothered but she stopped her strokes and prepared herself for this conversation. It was apparent that whatever Bette wanted to discuss it was really important.
Tina: Okay sure babe whats going on? Talk to me.
Bette: (took in a deep breath and slowly exhaled) Tina I owe you and apology and an explanation. I need you to let me get this all out though okay?
Tina: (steeling herself for the ABSOLUTE worse) okay.
Bette: Ive been really busy with the show as you know but I want you to know that Ive kind of been avoiding coming home too. Ive been avoiding it Tina because now that were getting down to the wire about being pregnant Ive become terrified and I didnt know how to talk to you about it.
Tina raised her hand to indicate shed like an opportunity to respond.
Bette: Oh go ahead Tina.
Tina: Babe I need to remind you, you can talk to me about anything. Youve been doing so well about being open and loving please dont revert back to keeping things bottled in. Baby we are partners in every sense of the word. You always want to take care of me why cant you allow me to take care of you sometimes? You know its never what you say”its always when you keep things bottled up that we run into problems”no more promise me.
Bette: I promise Tina. Ill try to be more open about my fears and concerns. God you sound just like Shane she said I get in trouble by not sharing things with you too.
Tina: Oh so youve spoken to Shane about this uh?
Bette: Yeah I just wanted to bounce it off of her before I dumped all my fears on you.
Tina: Look Bette Im glad you have Shane to confide in but babe Im your wife bring it to me first okay?
Bette: Tina sometimes Shane is just my filter”like I know you and Alice share a similar connection. I know you bounce things off of her before you tell me things sometimes too”right?
Tina: Yeah I do but the difference is Alice has never proclaimed her love for me. A few months ago Shane told you she loved you remember?
Bette: Of course I remember weve worked through that you know that. Besides Shane knows Im a happily married woman who has eyes and a heart only for you T. Shane is also the one who gives me a proverbial kick in the ***** when I need it regarding being open with you.
Tina: She does?
Bette: Oh yeah her crush or whatever is nonexistent. She knows were back stronger than ever and shes really into Megan now too.
Tina: Okay I wont ask you to change your friendship with her if it keeps you on the right path. Lets get back to you. Why are you avoiding coming home, why are you afraid?
Bette: Well Tina Ive been worried about what if you arent pregnant. I dont want for either of us to be too disappointed. Then Ive worried what if you are and something goes
Tina: Wrong? Oh Bette sweetie you cant think like that. As a parent you really do have to have faith. When our little guy or girl gets here I know youll want to protect her or him from all pain and harm but babe we cant control everything. The only thing we can do is to have faith and trust and love the child enough to let them know that when things get too rough were here to do all that we can. I think we need to adopt that attitude now before our bundle gets here. We need to have faith and trust that everything will be okay and what we need to do is keep trying if we arent pregnant this time”thats all we can do. Right?
Bette smiled and breathed a sigh of relief and she looked at Tina with eyes filled with so much love and admiration the look alone made Tinas heart skip a beat. Its funny how sometimes you feel absolutely loved in a way you never knew existed. Right now at this second Tina felt completely loved by Bette from a look. Bette didnt say a word but her heart and soul were conveying every promise her heart held for Tina. Bette took Tinas hand and kissed it as she stood from the sofa with Tina in tow leading her into the bedroom. Now”now they could reconnect physically. Bette needed to be with Tina no words spoken she would communicate all she needed to say through touch, caresses, kiss, and strokes of tender love making.

As Bette made love to Tina, Tina began to cry Bette paused when she felt Tinas tears on her neck.
Bette: Tina you okay?
Bette was about to remove the three digits that she was slowly thrusting into and out of Tinas wet core. Tina held Bettes wrist letting her know to continue as she spread her legs wider still. Bette hesitant at first kept her slow pace as she went deeper still.
Tina: OH God Bette you feel amazing oh Bettteee.
With that Tina reached her climax and waited for her breathing to return to normal. She tried to explain to Bette her tears were definitely tears of joy.
Tina: Bette I can never describe how you make me feel when we make love. This time I couldnt stop my tears they were tears of pure bliss and love. God, what you do to me babe.
Bette lay there looking at Tina and running her fingers through her golden locks.
Bette: I was worried there for a minute.
Tina: Dont be”Im more than okay why dont you come here and let me repay you.

With that Tina made love to Bette and the beautiful lovers drifted off to sleep holding each other.
