Chapter 1 It has been three months since the night at Provocations and during that time the women have been on an emotional roller coaster with each member of their intricate family. Bette and Tina Bette and Tina are stronger than ever. Tina moved in with Alice for two months and it was the best therapy she could have had. Her freedom from Bette gave her time to reflect on their relationship. At first she was angry and in a rage, then she realized she was also to blame for allowing Bette to turn her into the Token-White-Wife that many successful black men like her father have.. She thought back to some of the things Yolanda had said during their group sessions and understood now that they defended themselves from her comments so much because deep down they were true. As a result Tina insisted that they spend time getting involved in Bette and Kits culture in order to recognize how it affected their relationship. They had never actually discussed the race issue because visually it wasnt there. Tina took Bette back after two months of begging, pleading, and all out fighting. Why you ask? Because I refuse to deal with the whole Post Provocations dilemmas…and since Ive never cheated or been cheated on Im not gonna lie to my audience and pretend I know how it feels…sorry. So…They are in therapy and Bette is the ***** now! Mostly cause She had support while they were apart. She dumped Candace the next day. She and Shane became best of buds…since they were in the home wrecker club together. But Alice was with Tina which left Dana…who went back and forth in between with out a clue…so yeah she was the same. Dana+ Alice + Tonya+ Lara+……The love Octagon Well Dana dumped the Cat Killer. (Hold the applause) She spent all of 48 hours single before she crawled back to Lara who said she wouldnt take her back but would be friends. She then hooked up with Alice for over a month. They were awkward together. They couldnt balance their two relationships and keep it a secret from everyone…which they tried to do and did successfully (although Shane knew the whole time and never said anything…personal reasons youll find out later …:::wink::) Soooooo….Danas new friendship with Lara turned into *****…Tonya was still psycho and trying to get a piece of Dana. Showing up at events..oh and still telling people the wedding was on up until the final day. ***** waited at the alter and all very dramatic!. Dana got stuck with the bill ( dumbass didnt cancel her credit cards.) So Basically Dana dicked over Al for Lara…but they are happy together.. And lets face it Laras perfect for Dana ( well sans Alice). Shane Told Bette everything when they got drunk and high. She was at Bettes a few days later and Al showed up to tear Bette a new ***** hole for the Provocations thing and they ended up taking care of Shane who OD. They took her to the hospital and some mystery guy who was her contact person took care of anything…He was listed as her father and showed up and footed the bill. Dont throw your shoe at the screen yet. Ill get to that in like Chapter 8345740…sorry I write backwards. Hence this prequel. Anyway. Now that Bette is back with Tina Shane is left high and dry as far as friends go…especially since shes been gone all the time since the OD. No one can ever find her, and Bette tells them shes going through detox and has a lot of meetings. But Shane has told her everything and to keep it on the down- low. Jenny + Marina. + Tim Theyre together. Jenny went to her eventually after the call…They have hot ***** all the time. Nuff said. Marina owns the planet with Bette and Dana giving the money. Francesca who? Tim left and went on to another pretend school with a swim program that some how pays him enough to own a great house in an expensive neighborhood (yes Im bitter I just finished my athletic career and we dont have it like that…I got offered 8 Grand a year to coach for an IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL!) So Jenny has the house, and Shane moved in with her pre OD. And there is the creepy guy Mark who lives in the shed.. And he doesnt really exist in my story except as a filler. Kit – Ivan I dont even know how to go there…they are best friends? I dont know it skeeves me out…Not the idea of the relationship…but I mean its Pam freakin Grier. And I forget the other chicks name… but 2 Queens of B-Movies going at it just doesnt do it for me. But I digress. Cheri. Hmmmm I dont know she ***** with Shanes head. Cheri finally realized something that none of the writers cared about…California and its beautiful 50/50 law. She divorced Stevie boy and left Cleo with him. Shes not an evil mom its just well…Cleos an LA brat and living with a powerful dad is cooler then your newly ***** mom who macs on people you want to get with. She sends Shane ridiculous gifts and hires someone to watch secretly…like covert *****. It drives Shane crazy and ***** with her sobriety. Well Shane isnt really sober, she just gave up the silver bullet…youll see. Ok I think thats it…Im sorry I just feel like everyone has done the whole POST PROVO thing and I refuse to go there it makes my head hurt when I think of all the T+B and D+A convos Ive read. They were great but….I dont think I could come up with anything better or orignal…Well I guess I did but Im lazy.
