    Chapter 31 – The Outburst

    All the girls were huddled up together in a giddy kind of excitement before the doors opened. Tina and Oscar were with the camera crews, keeping them busy. The girls were laughing and joking, high fiving each other. They all actually felt good about being able to put this together.
    Shane: God, look at all this stuff, man you guys rock.
    Alice laughed and couldnt help ribbing Dana: Shane, you should have seen Dana in action with her mothers crowd. They may have been whispering about her when she walked in but she had them eating out of her hands when she left. Those ladies have really anteed up a lot of this stuff.
    Dana blushes with Alices praise.
    Kit just laughs: I think we all did good. I just wish we could have gotten Bette here.
    Alice pipes in with her bombshell: Did any of you guys know that Tina saw Bette last Saturday?
    Shane and Kit almost gasp and they all exchange looks. What!! NO WAY!
    Kit begins to put two and two together: That explains it!! Her mood!! Shane thats why she was so down the other day when we got the pictures.
    Alice: Tina didnt give me any details she just said Bette looked fragile and so she left.
    Shane: So Tina didnt really talk to Bette yet?
    Alice: All I know is what I just told you. Tina sort of dumped that on me when we were here doing the walk through earlier.
    Shane: How did she find her and why now?
    Alice: She says she went to the Farmers Market, is that were Bettes been hiding?
    Kit: Yeah, she sells her paintings at some market near the 12 Avenue Bridge, you know the one Im taking about?
    Alice: Well that just blocks for the Oriana House. You know the other one of these houses Tina works in.
    Shane: Yeah, I knew she was close but why now?
    Alice shaking her head: I dont know what drove her, did either of you say anything that would make her go there?
    Kit and Shane look at each other each giving off body language which says no, Kit raising her shoulders and shaking her head and Shane looking down shaking her head.
    Then if she really didnt talk to Bette, Tina doesnt know that Bette tried to kill herself. Dana blurts out.
