Dana is shocked that she just called out Laras name. Alice is up and getting dressed, she has yet to say anything, Dana comes up behind her and puts her arms around her waist.
Dana: Oh Al, I am so sorry, IitsjustI have not felt that good since, well since Lara. I know it is not an excuse. Iamsorry.

Alice: Dane, look, it is okay. Well not really, it is not okay, but, I kind of understand, I mean, I know you and Lara, well, I know it was good. Now she is back, maybe this was a mistake, you know for us, well, umm, I gotta go. Bye

Dana: no please, Alice, just stay. Lets talk. Please.

Alice: no, I am leaving, take care of Jett.

Dana: I am sorry Alice.

****at Bette and Tinas

Bette: Hmm T, you are incredible; I am worn out, but (kissing Tina) I could go again. (winking)

Tina: you know, I might just be able to do that again, with enough encouragement.

They start kissing.

The door bell interrupted them

Bette: FUCKwho could that be?

Tina: I will go see baby,

Bette: no, you keep your beautiful ***** in bed, I will be right back,

Bette kissed her on the forehead,

She pulled on her robe, and walked into the living room.

Bette: who is it?

Alice: Bette, it is me, I am sorry it is so late, I need to talk.

Bette: come in, Tina is in bed, but I will go get her, are you okay?

Alice: No, no I am not okayfar from okay. I am such an idiotI told you I dont sleep with my friends.

Tina hears the commotion, and comes into the living room, she sees Bette holding Alice as she weeps.

Bette: Al, what happened? Did you and Dana? Al, talk to me.

Alice: wewesheduringshe called out Laras name. I was sosohumiliated. I just left. II cant believe I let this happen.

Bette: Oh, Al, sweetie, I am so sorry. Oh jees.

Alice: you never even did that, Bette.

Bette: uh thanks, I think.

Alice: what I mean is, when we dated, you dated lots of women before me, and you never even called anyone elses name, Dana, Ithoughtwell that we had a chance, that she would be like you, I could sleep with her, and be friends. I dont think I can do this, I ruined everything.

Tina: Al, you did not ruin anything, you and Dana will work this out. I know you will.

Alice: can I stay here tonight? I know you guys need time alone, and I keep barging in, but I need you guys.

Bette: Al, you are always welcome here, T, could you get her a drink, and I will go fix up the spare room.

Bette and Tina left Alice on the couch, they met up in the kitchen

Bette: ouchGod that has to hurt, I cant believe this, and you know Alices never opens herself up

Tina: I know, I thought they were just going to go out, I never thought it would get that far. I am glad I am not out there. (kissing Bette)

Bette: me too, Baby, me too.

Bette: ok Al, let me tuck you in, and you get some sleep and we will talk some more in the morning, ok?

Alice: you are a great friend Bette, tell Tina thanks for me too.

Bette: we love you Al, you have been there for me many times, we will always be here for you.

Alice: good night, Bette, I love you.
Bette: Good night Al, I love you too.

Tina: this is going to be tough.

Bette nodded and walked with Tina to their bedroom.

Dana is pacing the floor, what did I do? I can not believe I just did that, poor Alice, I cant explain to her, I was not thinking of Lara, Oh damn, I really screwed up.

She picks up the kitten Jett, how can I make things right with her? I know I have feelings for her, and for Lara, Alice is never going to forgive me.
Dana walks downstairs, and lies on the couch, I have not just fucked up a potential relationship, but a friendship also

****Bette and Tinas

Alice wakes up to the smell of coffee, God these two are early risers She runs her hands through her hair, and walks into the kitchen, good morning you two

Bette: good morning Al, we did not wake you did we?

Tina: I thought coffee and bagels would be good for all of us.

Alice: it sounds great, Tina, what day is it?

Bette: it is Sunday, Al. Why?

Alice: just wished it was Monday so I could go back to work.

Bette: you are going to have to talk to her, you know this right?

Alice: yes, but what do I say?

Tina: you listen, you did nothing wrong, you let her explain then you search your soul to figure out if she means enough to you to forget, and move forward.

Bette looks at Tina and smiles at her, and mouths the words I love you. Tina winks back at Bette. Alice smiles at the two of them. How do you guys do it? I mean you go through what would destroy most couples, straight or *****, and here you are, the perfect couple what is it you two have?

Bette: well, Al, first we are far from the perfect couple, as most of you know by now, but, we truly love one another, and respect each other, and well, when you make a mistake, like I did, then you own up to it, you have to work at it, and try to make things better. With me, I had to set my priorities, and admit that I was wrong. Tina and I have talked and talked and talked some more, we acknowledge our short comings. Al, relationships are not easy. They take work.

Alice: yes, I guess they do, but you and Tina, you make it look so easy, like nothing could ruin you guys.

Tina: if either Bette or I called someones name out during *****, that could do it, right baby?

Bette: oh yea, but we have been together for seven years, this is Al and Danas first time, not that it is an excuse, but, well we all know that Lara and Dana were hotmaybe you got her hot Al, I am sure Tonya didnt. You know?

Alice: yea, maybe.

Tina brought coffee over to the table, all I know is you have to listen to Dana, and HEAR what she says to you, Al, no matter how hard it is. You guys are friends. That is most important right now.

Bette: yep, my wife is rightListen to her. T, should she call Dana?

Tina: hmmmm, you know I think Dana is very embarrassed, I think that Alice should call, because Dana probably wont call for a while.

Alice: Bette?

Bette: again, T is right. Go call her, go into our room, it is quiet in there. Call her.

Alice: thanks guys,

The sound of her cell phone ringing wakes her up.

Dana: (sounding sleepy) Hello?

Alice: um, hey, Dana, it is meAlice.

Dana: I know how are you? Wait that was stupid, dont answer that. Alice, I am so sorry, I

Alice: Dana, we really need to talk about this, the sooner the better. Could I come over?

Dana: yes, yes you can come over,
Alice: fine, I will be there in a few minutes, I am just around the corner. So about 15 minutes?

Dana: yea, sounds good. See ya then Al.

Dana hangs up the phone, ok, so what do I say to her?
