Dana is nervous as she waits for Alice to come over. She is trying to figure out what to say to her. She really does not know what to say. What do you say to someone after that? She is glad that Alice wants to talk to her, that is a good sign. Isnt it? Danas thoughts are interrupted by her cell phone

Dana: hello?

Lara: good morning, I was hoping you and I could get together today. Do you have plans?

Dana: umm, Lara, I am not sure right now, can I just call you back? I have something to do this morning and not sure how long it is going to take, but I will call you back. Ok?

Lara: sure that is fine, whenever you have time.

Dana hangs up the phone. How did I get into this mess? She hears her doorbell, she walks to the door, she sees Alice, looking a little rough.

Dana: come in Alice. Alice walks in, and sits on the sofa. She is trying to remember what Tina said listen to her, hear what she says

Alice: hi Dane,

Dana: (sitting next to Alice) Al, I know there is nothing I can do towellto change what happened last night. I know you have no reason to believe me when I say I was NOT thinking of Lara, but I was not, I was caught up in the heat of the moment with you. (she pauses) since Lara, I have been with only one person, and that is Tonya. Shewellshe did not do it for me, at all. Last night, you brought me to a place I have not been in a long time. Iwell(just say it Dana) the last time I felt that good was with her, Lara, I just called out her name, it was wrong, I knew I was with you, but, Al, I have no excuse. I am sorry.

Alice: I understand, sort of, I mean I have never called out anyone elses name during *****, nor has it ever happened to me before, and I have had MANY partners. I know what you and Lara had was special. I think we were crazy to thinkto think. (say it Al, just get it over with) that you and I could ever really, you know be together. I think I will make it easy for you, and just remove myself from the picture. I am not going to get in the way of you and Lara. (breathe Al, breathe) Idont want to be with younot in this way.

Dana: Aliceplease dont golets talkI want you to stay.

Alice: (just leave~dont look at her) I need to go, we will talk soon Dana.

Dana watched as Alice walked away. She felt tears in her eyes. Alice tried to walk quickly so Dana would not see her crying. I did the right thing now she can be happy, but what about me?

****later that night at Bette and Tinas

Bette is sitting watching Tina while she reads. she is beautiful, I am very lucky to have her in my lifeI think I need to do something special for her

Bette: Hey, T,?

Tina: yes baby?

Bette: what are you doing tomorrow night?

Tina: I really did not make any plans, guess just fix us some dinner, and be with you. Why?

Bette: (smiling) no you will not fix us dinner, I am taking you out to dinner.

Tina: a date?

Bette: yes, a date. Would go on a date with me, T?

Tina: oh yes I would love it

Bette: great, then I will pick you up tomorrow at, 7

Tina: I will be ready.

****** at Alices house

Alice draws a line from her name to Danas. I miss her already, how am I going to be able to hang out with her with out thinking how much I want her?

Alice picks up the phone, maybe I will just call her, she thinks. No, I can not call her

****at Danas house

Lara: I am glad you called me Dana, I have been thinking about you all day.

Dana: I am glad too, Lara. I have missed you a lot.

Lara: you remember when you told me you did not want to be with me? I could see it in your eyes that you did not mean it, what we have together is good, Dana. You make me so hot!
Dana: I remember that day, but Lara, what did we have together? I mean other than incredible *****, what did we have?

Lara: Dana, where is this coming from? I am not sure what you are saying? Do you think all we did was have *****?

Dana: Lara, I was just asking, I mean, we really did not go out that much

Lara: Dana, dont play games with me, I am a big girl, so what is it you are saying? I am guessing this has to do with Alice?

Dana: yes a little, I mean, Alice and I have had a great time, we went to Palm springs and we went to my moms, we did everything together, except have *****. Lara, I made a mistake when I broke up with you, but, I did it, I can not make the same mistake with Alice, I need to see if we have a chance. I am sorry, I did miss you. I do think of you, but, IAliceif you would not have come back, well, we may have started something, I hope you understand, I dont want to play games with either one of you. You mean the world to me, but I needI have to be with Alice.

Lara: I understand Dana, and I am sorry I was gone for so long. I think you and I would be great together, but I see something amazing with you and Alice. I respect you, but want you to know that I will always be here for you. Always.

Dana went to hug Lara, thank you for understanding.

Lara: good luck Dana.

Alice is still thinking about Dana I hope I did the right thing, I mean I care so much for her, and do not want her to have to choose

Alices thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, she looked at the clock, 12:30, who could that be?

Alice went to the door and opened it,

Dana: Hi Alice, I need to talk to you
