Dana parked her car outside of the Planet. She pulled out the key and took a deep breath before getting in to the caf. She looked around to spot her friends, and found them at a table in a corner. She sighed a little and went up to them. Morning everyone. She sat down on the only chair not taken, the chair beside Shane. Everyone said their mornings and continued the talk they were in when Dana had arrived. Dana didnt quite get the whole picture, but it seemed like Shane and Alice was discussing one night stands. Shane seemed to be for it all the way. No, not seemed to, Dana though, she is for it. Everything about Shane, her clothes, her lifestyle, told everyone that this is a woman with confidence. She was irresistible and she knew it, she could get any woman she wanted. But Shane was also that kind of girl that thought Hey, why settle with one when you can have one thousand? Then there was Alice. Alice was Danas best friend, they knew everything about each other. Okay, maybe not everything, but close to it. Alice was a writer for LA Magazine, she had blonde hair, and was actually really cute. The problem with Alice was that she seemed to have confidence, but once you got close to her you realized that it was all an act. Alice settled with girlfriends that was not actually interested in her as a person, and treated her like *****, because she thought that was the best she could do. But Alice was, despite her quick jokes about Dana being a famous lezzie tennis player, a really good friend. They could talk about everything, and no matter what, Alice was always there to comfort or support her friends. Alice was also the only woman in the group who liked men, she was bisexual. Then there was Bette and Tina. Bette and Tina had been together for 7 years and were now trying to have a baby. Bette was a big art director, she was good at was she was doing and spend a lot if time and energy on her career. But she still had time to take care of Tina and her needs. Tina had just quit her job at the centre, to prepare her body for the baby. They owned a big house in West Hollywood, where the friends always were welcome. Tina and Bette seemed to have the perfect relationship, still together after 7 years, and still as happy as in the first year. When they met, Tina was dating a man, but it didnt take Bette long to turn her in to a *****. Tina and Bette was kind of a role model – couple for the rest of the group. Dana herself was a tennis player. Not as famous as Anna Kournikova, but she was recognized sometimes. She wasnt really confident about her self, or the fact that she was a *****. But then for a while ago, she got an add in a paper, and through that she came out as a *****. Dana was kind of a dork. She was goofy and blushed in embarrassing situations, which she seemed to get herself in to all the time. Dana had told her parents about her sexuality, but her parents didnt seem to want to listen. Her mother was a member of the Orange County Republican Womens Group and that made it hard for Dana to be who she was. Everything she wanted was to play tennis and still be able to be the one she was. Dana thought she had met the woman of her life. Her name was Lara and she was a chef. Lara was confident about who she was and what she wanted. She was the most wonderful person Dana had ever met. She was captured by her beauty and grace in a matter of seconds. I dont know if I am Al Dana looked down at the floor. Alice couldnt get a word out of her mouth. They sat in silence for a while before Al got up from the table. Well, I have to go, I have work. See you later though. Bye. And with that she left Dana at the Planet, more confused than ever. She took her keys and cell of the table and walked to her car. She drove to the apartment and started to get ready. She was gonna pick Lara up before they went to the restaurant. Dana showered and got dressed, she put on her makeup and did her hair. She looked in the mirror. As good as it ever gonna be. And with that she left the apartment and drove to Laras place, the time now being 6 pm. Lara was walking around her apartment waiting for Dana. She was actually nervous of meeting Dana again. Their relationship had ended quite fast, and she was heartbroken, but then she saw Danas add in the paper and realized that she was out of the closet. And she wanted to give them a new chance. So that was what she was going to tell Dana tonight. There was a knock on the door and Lara sighed a little before she opened it. Dana was standing outside it and Lara gasped at the sight of her. Wow, you look great. Dana smiled and blushed. You too. She looked down at the floor. Lara couldnt help but smile to herself. This was exactly the same Dana as before, the same dorky Dana. So, shall we go? Dana looked up from the floor. Okay. Lara smiled widely at her. They went out of the house and to the restaurant. It was a cute little restaurant, right beside the beach. They had a great time at the restaurant, they ate and talked. Mostly about what was new in their lifes and such. When the restaurant closed they took a walk along the beach. Both of them took of their shoes. The sun was on its way don in the ocean and the sky was pink. Dana and Lara walked side by side and talked. They found it easy to talk to each other, despite their history. So Lara said. Looks like things are going great for you. She smiled towards Dana and Dana smiled back at her. Yea, I guess they are She stopped and looked out at the ocean. Lara got by her side and looked at her. Do you ever think about well us? Dana sighed a little. All the time. She looked at Lara. Im sorry, it ended the way it did. Conrad made me end things with you. Lara was watching this beautiful woman, and all she wanted to do was to kiss her. She forced herself to turn her face to the ocean again. She looked at Lara. They locked eyes and Leaned towards each other. Their lips met in a kiss, first soft and careful, almost afraid, but then deeper. Lara put her hands on Danas cheeks, and Dana put her arms around Laras shoulders. The kiss ended as fast as it had start by Dana pulling away. Is something wrong? Lara asked. No I was just thinking that Um maybe we should go to your place? Dana smiled at Lara. Lara walked up to her and took her hand. They went back to Laras apartment, and as soon as the door had closed Dana pulled Lara back and kissed her. Lara pressed Dana against the door and kissed her hungrily. She moved down and kissed her neck, and collarbones, Dana moaned lightly. Dana took her hand and lead her in to the bedroom. She laid Dana down on the bed and laid down on top of her.
