Ch 9

Tina woke up to a bright new day. She felt full of energy and wanted to do some work around the house because she no longer had a cast on her arm and she was healing beautifully. She still has a lapse of memory but she was recording down everything she remembered. She did not need to use the paper tissues any more because Jack noticed that the toilet paper was disappearing fast and he discovered them under her pillows, under the mattress and stuffed in her pockets, few days later when she woke up and noticed a pen and a diary on the bedside table, Jack must have left them there for her.
He was nice she thought to herself but why was he acting weird sometimes, he is a mystery, he is but Tina was thankful for the nice gesture and started to copy everything she wrote back on the new diary she now owns. It took her hours to transfer her writings and when she finished she was amazed at how much she actually remembered it was like a piece of a big jigsaw. One memory stuck in her mind and she remembered it almost every day. She saw someone slip a ring on her finger she could not see a face but the hand was definitely a slender one. She was sure it was not a mans hand the touch was very soft and gentle. Who could it be she kept asking herself? And she does have a ring on her finger now a very beautiful one indeed. Maybe Jack can shed a light on this one, shall I ask him or not? Tina finished writing for now and wanted to concentrate on the housework. She started to search in the locker for cleaning staff and equipments. The door flung open and Jack entered.
Jack: Tina what are you doing, didnt I tell you not to do anything? Tina was protesting now.
Tina: But Jack I am bored and would like to help you around the house, it is just fair.
Jack: Tina I know you must be bored but I dont want you to stress yourself, this could effect and slow your recovery, and we do need you to recover dont we? Tina was more frustrated than bored really. She wanted to get out and look around she wanted to go shopping and maybe have some fun.
Tina: Ok Jack I will take your advice for now but please I need some entertainment something to stimulate me and make me feel well again. Jack was thinking, he had a plan and now Tina might be able to help him carry it through. He wanted to go to bed with her but he will not force himself, he must wait until she was will and truly ready for him so that they both could be occupied.
Jack: Why dont you go back to your bedroom and get ready I will take you for a ride and you can see the countryside and maybe go for a short walk in the woods, ha what do you think?
Tina: Oh thank you Jack thank you, I will be ready in a minute. Jack wanted to put Tina in the mood for love, so he bought a bottle of wine, some flowers and nice soft music. Tonight is the night he was sure of it, but will Tina respond to his hints?
Tina: Come Jack I am ready shall we go? Jack moved and Tina noticed the flowers sitting on the table, they reminded her of something or someone, she walked over to the table and bent down to smell them.
Tina: Jack they are lovely, did you buy them for me? Thank you, Jack.
Jack: You are welcome Tina, now shall we go. Tina took Jack by surprise when she linked her arm on to his and walked out of the door leaning on him, he was definitely optimistic for the night ahead.
Tina wanted to be loved again but still did not trust this man fully she knows that he is kind and gentle and very helpful. She also knew that he is an honourable gentleman, because although he says that he is her husband, he has never attempted to touch her the wrong way or force himself on her. I would like to come closer to this man and would like to trust him as well, but will I be betraying someone from my past and what about the person who put a ring on my finger and kissed me softly well I be unfaithful to him or her? Tina was in turmoil she wanted to move on but her memory and whatever she had in the past was holding her back and what if she never fully recover what then. One thing I am sure of Tina said to herself I am still young and otherwise healthy and I know that in my other life before my accident I wanted to have children lots of children, and now is my chance. Why wait, I am sure the person I was in love with and still love will be happy to take my children and me back, that is if I was really in love and had someone special in my life. Tina kept walking and thinking quietly she also notice that Jack was quiet too, he wasnt talking much apart from asking after her.
Tina was feeling tiered now and wanted to go home. Jack felt her need and took her hand and led her back to where the car was parked and drove home, after all it was getting dark and he needed to go home to prepare a special meal for Tina. When they got home Tina went upstairs to take a shower while Jack busied himself with cooking.




After dinner Jack asked Tina to sit with him for a while and to listen to the music. Tina with a glass of wine in her hand was much obliged and sat right next to him her shoulder rubbing his. She could feel herself drawn to him she leaned over and put her lips over his and was urging him to respond. She put her glass down on the table took his hand and led him upstairs to her bed. She wanted this she wanted Jack she wanted to be loved and to give love back. Tina slipped her dress down and started to undress Jack, she felt his bulging trousers and unzipped them. Minutes later he was inside her thrusting gently but surely. The earth was about to shatter when Tina had a flash and saw the face of a woman. Her whole body tensed and was about to lose it. Jack could feel something wrong he started to reassure her whispering in her ear.
Jack: Stay with me baby, stay, Tina look at me. Tina did not want to lose the moment she was almost there and wanted so badly to have a release but what she saw was very familiar it was there in her face doing the same thing to her as this man, could it be the face of the woman I keep on calling? Her breath got shallower and shallower she shut her eyes and dug her fingers deep into Jacks back, her body arched like a tight bow, and when the moment came she heard thunder and saw lighting striking in her mind. Jack was still laying on top on her motionless and spared he was almost snoring. She moved to her side of the bed and grabbed her dairy, she wanted to write down what she saw and analyse it later when she finished writing she turned the lights out and drifted in sleep. Tina woke up the next day, Jack was gone, she noticed something wasnt right, there was blood on the sheets not a lot but some and was sure she did not have her period, she freaked out, was she a virgin? No I cant be she said to herself, I am sure I have been with other people before this guy, but why the blood? Tina could not find an explanation to her findings she pulled the sheets off the bed and stuffed them in the washing machine, she put fresh ones on and laid on top of the bed contemplating the events taking place in her life. Was she doing the right thing? She was talking to herself a lot lately but she did not have anyone to talk to except herself and her diary. Oh yes my diary. She was not sure what was she going to do with all the information she gathered. She needed someone to help her put the pieces together, help her make since of what she is seeing, of what is real and what is not. Could it all be a dream or fragments of her vivid imagination? She was confused and she was utterly lost. A month passed and Tina was still in the same state of mind confused, but now she was feeling tiered all the time and lethargic, she lacked motivation and hardly ever went out for walks with Jack. He noticed as well that something was not quiet right with Tina he was very worried about her and thought that she might be depressed or something. Where can he go for medical advice? He was almost wanted! Days gone by and all the while Jack was trying his best to cheer her up by buying her flowers and going out of his ways to please her and cook her nice meals. He also noticed that the clothes he bought her started to look a bit tight on her so he really must buy her new ones to fit her. That was when it dawned on him that she might be pregnant, the thought hit him like a ton of brick, you idiot he said to himself of course she is pregnant it cant be anything else, she is not ill or depressed she is pregnant and I am sure of it after all they have been active enough to reach to this conclusion.
Jack: Tina can you come down please I have something to tell you.
Tina: What?
Jack: Come down please and sit here on this chair. I think I know what is wrong with you. Well it is not wrong, but I think that maybe just maybe you are expecting, you know pregnant. Tina was very surprised, she did not think about this one.
Tina: What? Do you think so Jack wouldnt be nice if I was, I always wanted children this I am sure of.
Jack: We shall soon find out I will go to the chemist and buy you a pregnancy test, would you like to come with me Tina and maybe you can have the test done there, I am dying to know, please Tina say you will?
Tina could not resist she wanted to find out as soon as possible if she was pregnant before she started to celebrate.
Tina: Just give me a minute to get out of these and put on something decent and comfortable.
Jack went out and stared the car and waited for her. When they reached the shops Tina decided to buy the kit and do the test on her own, in case the news were not good. Jack agreed and dropped her off and waited in the car, moments later he saw Tina coming out of the shop with a grin on her face and she could not wait to tell him. He jumped out of the car and in a flash Tina was in his arms with tears rolling down his checks.
Tina: You big baby what are you crying for? You are going to be up to your neck in dirty nappies!
Jack: Oh Tina thank you, this means so much to me, I have been a bad boy and this is going to be my deliverance, I promise you everything will be alright, I am going to make sure of it just give the chance to prove it to you. I love you Tina and I do not mind dirty nappies. Tina hugged him and wiped the tears of his face she could not say that she loved him too, but jack did not press her she was completely happy. They drove back home in complete silence each to there own thoughts.
