After a long night of tossing and turning the darkness drew to a close and morning once again reared its ugly head (sorry, Im not a morning person) Tina and Alice sat at the Planet, in their usually place and chewed the fat as the morning rolled onwards. Alices head swung around as she saw Jenny enter the Planet.
Hey, Tina, look
Huh, what? Tina asked looking up from her much appreciated food.
Jenny Alice said nodding in Jennys direction.
Tina watched Jenny as she stood at the counter and waited for Marina to re enter the room. Marina had been in a fowl mood all morning and with good reason, however some thing told Tina that was about to change. Marina came tearing back into the room yelling at one of her employees. Then she stopped dead in her tracts. She noticed Jenny straight away. Marina and Jenny didnt move a muscle, Tina wondered if either of them were even breathing. It was almost like everybody stopped. The room went silent as the women in the Planet watched the heavy situation play out before them. Jenny was first to break the silence.
Can I talk to you?
Marina looked like she had just seen a ghost; she nodded silently and turned towards her office. Jenny nervously followed Marina down the hall. Marina opened the door and held it open for Jenny.

Jenny walked into the center of the room and turned to face marina who was leaning up against a cabinet on the sidewall.
Did you mean what you said to me last night? Jennys tone was as blunt as it was cold.
Marina didnt say anything for a moment; she looked Jenny in the eye making sure that she had her attention.
Jenny what I said was the truth, I would never lie about some thing like that.
I dont know if I can stand going through so much pain again

I dont know if I can trust you
Jenny look into my eyes, all I am asking for is another chance.
Then I suggest you use it wisely. Jenny said holding Marinas gaze.
What does that mean?
I will give you your chance, but it will be your last, if you ***** this up, I will walk away and never look back The look that Jennys face portrayed said all that I had to.
Thats fair Marina said nodding.
Do you understand? Jenny said walking slowly towards Marina.
Yes, I understand Jenny Marina said making sure that Jenny knew she wasnt lying.
Jenny kept eye contact with Marina as she slowly leaned in to her and softly kissed her. Marina returned the kiss understanding that this was not about *****, it was not about lust or passion, they had enough of that. This was now about the one thing you cant hide, and the one thing you cant deny. Love. As jenny pulled away she realized that they were still in Marinas office.
Well, I will leave you to get back to work ok? Jenny said walking to the door.

Hmm Jenny said turning around.

Yeah, that would be nice Jenny dais smiling.

Jenny made her way down the hall back to the Planet; every eye followed her as she crossed the floor towards the door. She smiled at Tina and Alice as she headed out of the Planet. Marina walked down the hall next and received the same welcome.
Get back to work She said smiling at the people behind the counter as she made her way over to Alice and Tinas table smiling. Tina noticed the look on Marinas face instantaneously.
So it take it things went well then? Alice asked.
Thank you Tina Marina said not acknowledging Alices stab.
Hey, any time, but I didnt really do that much. Tina said graciously.

So what did she say? Alice asked
ALICE!! Tina said glaring at Alice.
I have to get back to work, thank you again Tina Marin said getting up from the table, still being watched.

What? Alice asked as she noticed Tinas eyes upon her.

Alice dug into her bag and pulled out her phone and began dialing.

Calling Porter Alice said brining the phone to her ear.

Well, Shane learnt all her tricks from Bette, how to approach women, how to talk to them, how to leave them high and dry, you name it, thats where she got it form

So if anyone is going to be able to teach her how to get back on to that horse, it will be one who taught her all the rest of her neat little tricks
How do you remember all of this?
