    Misery Made Easy

Tina sat alone on the couch, the background sound of a talk show host ranting about why man are pigs (as if it wasnt already obvious) were the only sounds coming from the house. Bette had called an hour ago telling her she had about 45 minutes left in the gallery and then shed be over there to talk.

Tina had mixed emotions about Bette now that she had cheated on her. Theyd still see each other, not for long periods of time but even still there was always that lust between them. There was a feelings in each others eyes but it was only there for a second now. Pain consumed Tinas eyes while guilt took control of Bettes.

And the gang did do their part in making Tina feel like everything would turn out the best. Honestly she probably would have sat alone in the dark for the rest of her life if they wouldnt of dragged her ***** out of the house from time to time. Of course Shane would always call and Alice would stop by and even Dana would make an effort to keep an eye on her but still Tina felt lonely. With Bettes warm smile gone and usually beat expression on her face the house just seemed dead. Sort of how Tina was beginning to feel.

Hey T! Bette had just walked in. Even without living here Bette would still do thing around the house and would stop by to get something so Tina felt it would help if she had a key. That and sometimes, even for a minute, it helped to see her face. Even with pain she loved Bette.

How was the gallery? You must be doing something right, youre extremely busy lately. Tina pointed out turning off the TV that she wasnt paying any attention to. Bette half smiled and pondered a few lies then just shrugged.

I keep busy, yea, nothing better to do. Bette walked over to the couch next to Tina and sat down hoping this wasnt going to be that awkward. But Tina did seem to mind at all and she even smiled a little.

So, um…oh you got a message yesterday. Some guy didnt left a name or number just said youd understand? Bette sighed.
