Longing for bed she stepped into the long hallway,
the light in the hall was flickering she looked down to watch her steps not wanting to fall over something but she saw… blood?? blood??!!!
when she looked up almost at her door she saw something but the light flickered off again.
She was closer by her appartment, the light stayed on but Alice’s world went dark..seeing the raven beauty’s face covered with blood and her body shaking
“Shane…”
She tried to look up but her head blocked, her whole body was in pain
Alice sat on her knees, trying to find Shanes eyes she moved her hand towards her chin to lift her face up but Shane pulled away
“it’s okay baby…let me look at you… hey…”
she looked up, meeting Alice’s face, her eyes darkred.

Johnny’s lost his grip on Cherie as he felt her knee between his legs, letting the gun and the woman go

The blonde’s tears started to well up in her eyes as she looked at her friend who’s pain on the outside and the inside was visible to Alice
“you need to get to the hospital..”
Shane struggled to get up feeling uncomfortable, not wanting Alice to see her like this not wanting to go to the hospital either, but Alice then sat next to Shane.
“okay.. we’ll wait I’ll just hold you for now..” Shane stared down listened to those few words and let her head lean on her friends lap while she felt her arms around her.
“who ever did this to you they wont do it again i swear” again Shane listened but she found it hard to believe.
there they sat in the hallway against the door, she did not want her neighbours to see her friend like this but she didnt wanted to move either for a few minutes till Shane was able to get up.. to the hospital

@ the hospital

“Bette? oh thank god”
“Alice its early can’t you” Bette noticed the worried tone “whats wrong? you sound…”
“I need your help I brought Shane to the hospital”
“what?”
“I found her at my place leaning against the door covered with blood” She closed her eyes as she saw that view again
“WHAT?”
“Look I need you to go to the Police Department, Cherie Jaffe is there the hollywood wife Shane was doing, her husband was brought in 2hours ago, dead…” Alice said and later continued worried “I need to know what the ***** happened with Shane”
Bette was shocked but said Okay, hung up and immediatly headed to Tina to tell she needed to talk to Cherie Jaffe.

“Miss Piessecki?”
“it’s Miss Pi.. nevermind, yes?”
“Your friend has a 2 bruised ribs that needs to be healed, a few wounds and was in shock. She is able to talk now and shes going to be fine at the end of today you can take her home”
“Can I see her?”
“an cop is in her room now”
“whoa okay…”
“you can go in when she comes out, she’s in 302″
Alice nodded and sat down as her phone ranged

“Are you a friend of Miss McCutcheon?”
“yes I am” Alice looked up and saw an gorgeous brunette who looked damn well in uniform
“Micheals, Jayme Micheals” she introduced herself
“can you tell me what you saw?” and both sat down and Alice told the cop everything she knew and had seen

The bullet flew in the target and silence followed, the strong body fell against Shane, she met his cold angry eyes.
She frozed as the body sanked down on the ground
The older woman crawled to Shane trying to hold her “forgive me” she said but Shane couldnt hear it
she just stared at the person on the ground eyes still wide, then stared back to Cherie
this brought to much back from her past, not again…
finally she heard all the noise, Cherie was yelling
Sirenes were coming closer.
“Go away Shane go”
Shane struggled to get up she suddenly knew where she was Alice lived 2 blocks away, she didn’t knew what to do and tried to speak.
With the gun still in her hands she pointed it towards the 25years old as she turned around.
“Go!”

After the cop had her information from Shane and Alice she left back to the Police station, Shane was not guilty and she knew it
already when she saw her eyes.. but tho she had to ask those questions.
Bette had called Alice that Cherie was taken out of L.A, she did not had to go to jail but she was asked to leave L.A with her daughter for a while and she did.. just like that.. right?

Alice walked in looking at Shane who was staring out the window
She hated hospitals but she also knew Alice was overly worried about her, no she wasn’t mad at her.
“Hey” Shane said, feeling the blonde coming closer
“Hi..you.. you okay?”
“feeling a bit better yeah..”
“Okay.. good” Alice felt ashamed she wasn’t home when Shane was there
“Shane I’m so sorry… that I wasnt home”
Her friend just simply nodded staring at the ground, if Al wasn’t home this morning were was she then? it was too early to go to the Planet..
Silence fell again till the husky voice said:
“Al?…” Shane met her face and she continued “can I stay at your place for a few days?”
the blonde was more than happy that she asked this, she wanted to take care of her lov.. friend.. friend!! right!! righhhhhhhht.
She quickly hided her giant smile and nodded with an welcoming smile
“I let Dana pick up some of your stuff and bring it at my house okay?”
Shane smiled weakly


Evening, Alice’s place

Shane was sitting on the couch, she just took a shower and looked a little better now with fresh clothes.
Staring out of the window she did not talked, not moved, she wasnt in shock anymore but tho all she did was thinking about what happened, trying to give it a place, and what happened in the past. Then she thought of the moment she realized Alice took her off the streets back in the old days. And there was his face again, she snapped back in reality spilling her drink on the couch,
“*****” she muttered looking for cleaning papers. Alice saw it and cleaned up the mess
“sit down.. Shane relax okay..”
“I’m sorry man”
“It’s okay you need to chill, you’re hurt” after she cleaned she went to get something and came back few minutes later and sat next to her friend
“here this will help” she said with a devilish smile, holding out an already rolled joint
Shane smiled again this time a good smile, her friend had her own way of helping her.

A few minutes later, the music was playing soft, she took a drag of the joint and hold it in front of Alice, who was trying to take the joint, but she was not going to give it, causing Al to look at her friend which was exactly what Shane was trying to do
“Shane!”
She laughed a little, love to tease the blonde
“What?” she asked slightly irritated by Shane’s teasing
“just wanting to say… Thank You..” passing the joint to her friend who took it
and nodded, puts her arm around her neck pulling her in softly to let her sleep in her arms,
the song continued and Shane felt.. safe for now..
