Shane grinned as Andie pulled her towards the couch. With her back facing the couch, Shane leaned in to kiss Andie, but Andie stepped back and pushed Shane down onto the couch. Andie straddled Shanes thighs and kissed her hard. Shane let her hands hold onto Andies hips. She pressed her fingertips into Andies flesh as Andies hands were in Shanes hair. The two moaned as they kissed, putting all that they could into the kiss. Andie pushed off Shanes coat and then her shirt. Shane soon pulled off Andies tank, too. The women went back to kissing and touching. One hand from each of them disappeared between the others thighs. Shane and Andie began to gasp and thrust against each other. They were so into pleasing each other that they didnt hear Zo come through the door.

Oh *****! Zo said covering her eyes and quickly going back out the door. She then knocked loudly.

*****! Shane said.

Andie jumped up fast and grabbed her tank top and then threw Shane her shirt.

Hold on! Andie yelled.

Umm, just so you guys know, I all ready saw everything. Zo yelled from the hallway.

Andie looked to see if Shane had her shirt back on. Shane had put it on and was sitting on the couch laughing.

Great. Andie mumbled, then moved to the door to motion Zo to come in.

You know I wouldnt have come in, if the door was closed. I thought that someone might be hurt or something. Zo said as she came in, her guitar slung over her shoulder.

Shane and Andie just stared at her.

Okay, believe me, if we didnt have a show tonight I would leave and come back later. But you did call me to come over. Zo smirked.

Oh god, I forgot! Andie said slapping her forehead. Oh, Zo this is Shane, Shane this is Zo.

The two shook hands as Andie slid on some torn faded jeans.

Nice to meet you. Shane said to Zo.

Likewise. Hey, if I had been doing what you guys were doing, I would have forgotten about practice too. Zo smiled and then turned to Andie, whose hair was sticking out all over the place. Dear lord, are you going to have your hair like that tonight?

No! Andie glared at Zo.

I can do it before the show if you want, Andie. Shane said lying back on the couch.

Oh, very cool! Andie smiled at Shane. Okay, Zo take a look at this song and tell me what you think.

Shane got up and moved to the kitchen to get some coffee. Andie watched her, then handed Zo the paper.

Ill be right back. Andie said as she headed to the kitchen.

Zo shook her head and began to look at the paper. Andie come into the kitchen, without saying a word she grabbed Shanes arm and yanked her into the bathroom.

Whoa! Shane said.

Andie closed the door and locked it. She turned around and pulled Shane to her, kissing her mouth greedily. Shane returned the kiss urgently. They stumbled to the door with Shane pressing Andie against it. They continued to kiss deeply and allowed their hands to roam wherever they wanted to. Their hands finally resting into each others pants. The kiss broke and Shane pressed her forehead against Andies. Both women pleasing each other, fingers exploring into the deepest parts of their bodies. Shane let go and climaxed as quietly as she could. Andie grinned and bit her bottom lip. Shane pulled her hand away, undoing Andies jeans. She helped Andie step out of them and then lifting Andies foot to rest on the sink. Shane smiled and kissed Andie softly before falling to her knees.

Zo read over the lyrics again. She was amazed at the feeling that was put into each word. She pulled her guitar out and began to try and follow the notes. She hummed a long and focusing on her playing when she heard a loud knock sound coming from the bathroom. Zo laughed to herself and went back to humming. She realized that the words were about Rae. Zo tried not to think of her ex lover, but it was too late.

Zo was waiting for Rae on the steps of the school. She yawned and scratched her head. Her blonde shoulder length hair streaked with black here and there was hanging in her face. She had to push it out of her eyes.

Hey lady. Rae said as she came up behind Zo. Raes magnetic smile was big. Zo smiled back and stood up to hug Rae tightly. They left holding hands. Zo didnt care what people thought of them and Rae only cared if one person found out about them. And that was Gary. When they were together it was like nothing else mattered, but they hid their relationship when they were around Gary because if he found out there was no doubt in their minds that he would lose it.

I cant wait for Andie to get here. I feel better when shes with me. Rae said as they weaved through the people on the sidewalk.

Im sure its the same way for her. Zo said reassuringly.

Zo, when I turn 18 I want to move away from here. Will you go with me? Rae had stopped walking and looked Zo in the eye.

I came here for you didnt I? Zo smiled.

Rae grinned and kissed Zo lightly. When they pulled back, Zo looked over Raes shoulder and her eyes opened wide. Rae noticed her face.

Oh *****! Zo whispered.

What? Rae turned around and looked in the direction Zo nodded to. There she saw Gary in his car staring at them. *****!

Gary just shook his head in disgust and drove away. Rae turned to Zo.

I cant go ***** home now! Raes face was showing her fear.

Its okay, you can stay at my place. We will call Andie and figure something out. I promise everything will be fine. Zo pulled Rae into a hug.

I believe you. Rae whispered.

Zo snapped back from the memory, when Andie came out of the bathroom. Her hair messed up even more.

Okay, what do you think? Andie picked up her guitar then sat down on the floor.

Zo smiled softly. Its about Rae, isnt it?

Andie nodded. Yes.

I love it. When are we going to play it? Zo asked.

Tonight. Andie said simply.

Jesus we better get this to the others. Zo sounded stressed.

Actually, Zo, I wanted to dedicate two songs to Rae. I thought these songs would sound better if you and I played them acoustic and harmonize. Andie said tuning her guitar.

Weve never done that before. Whats the other song? Zo looked shocked.

Raes favorite song, Weak As I Am. Andie said, looking up at Zo.

The Skunk Anansie song? Zo asked.

Andie nodded, Yeah, but a slow acoustic version, like the one K’s Choice covered. So you want to do it?

Yeah of course. Zo smiled.

Good, lets get started then. Andie said. You play the high part and Ill play the low part.

Okay. By the way. The walls here arent so much sound proof. Zo laughed before Andie could say anything, Zo counted off and began to play the first chords. Andie just shook her head and played.

Shane soon came out of the bathroom. She was glad that she had the day off; she could help Andie get ready. Every time she thought of her and Andie in the restroom, a huge smile would come across her face. She leaned in the doorway of the kitchen watching Zo and Andie practice. She was impressed that Zo learned a new song in a short amount of time. Shane yawned and went into Alices bedroom and lay down on her bed, where she soon fell asleep.

After Zo left later in the afternoon, Andie became aware that she hadnt seen Shane for a while. She looked around the kitchen and then saw Shane sleeping in Alices room. Andie smiled to herself and went to take a shower.

Andies voice singing a haunted song filled Shanes dreams. As her eyes opened she had to take a moment to remember that she was at Alices. Shane stretched and looked at the clock, it said 4:15 p.m.

*****! Shane jumped up. She walked out to the living room where Andie was playing her guitar. She was in a robe and her hair was wet. Andie was singing the haunting song that was in Shanes dream.

Andie must have felt her presence because she stopped playing and turned around.

Hey! Andie said standing up and giving Shane a kiss.

Morning. Shane grinned then yawned.

You seemed to be so exhausted so I just let you sleep. Andie talked as she began to pull out clothes from a bag.

We gotta do your hair. Then I should go home and clean up. Ill meet you at the Planet. Shane said walking towards the door. Im gonna go get my kit. Hey, Andie?

Yeah? Andie was not looking at Shane.

After the show, I was wondering if we could hang together. Shane seemed nervous.

Huh? Sure. Andie finally looked at Shane.

Hang out as my date. Shane said quietly.

Andie was shocked. Absolutely!

They both grinned at each other.

Good, okay Ill be right back. Shane ran out of the apartment.

Andie bit her lip and then thought, Did she just ask me out on a date?
